My experience with Odds N Sods was fantastic. I contacted a several companies located in Durham Region requesting quotation to have sod installed in my backyard. Matt came out and provided quick quotation, which then led to a quick installation by Graham and his team. The business was conducted in a smooth and professional manner and I couldn t be happier with the end result. Definitely recommended.

We dealt with Matt. Matt personally attended our home to ensure he gave us a proper quote, not just his best guess. We were looking for aeration and dethatching. His communication with us was timely, ensuring we would not wait for him needlessly on a day when unforeseen circumstances occurred. The work was impeccable. We have asked for him to remember us for next years refreshing.

We are still waiting for the company to return to do the aeration which should be done prior to the use of top soil and over seeding! We have called and emailed the company several times with no response at all! After a month we have not seen any new growth! Beyond disappointed as we do our best to support local!!!!

Matt responded quickly to my initial email asking for an estimate to resod my backyard and came out in person to provide an accurate estimate. From there he was honest about installation date and any delays due to weather etc. The crew came out when expected and aside from a truck breakdown that caused a slight delay, finished the job on time. Matt came back a couple of days later to answer a question I had and to take a look at the sod. My back yard was basically a dirt pile with weeds and now I have beautiful lush grass that makes me happy each time I look at it. Pricing was reasonable as well compared to the other estimates I got. I would recommend Odds N Sods to anyone!

Great experience with this company. Love the work they completed in my back yard. Sod install and stone surrounding my pool and gardens. Very professional, on time and some great suggestions. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Paid them to re-sod my front lawn last September 2021. I watered it daily. This spring the lawn was basically 50% DEAD. Made the mistake of hiring them to look after it with their weed control service for hundreds of more dollars. Lawn got worse. Many dead/brown spots. After 3 applications. Gave them another benefit of the doubt and hoped they would own up to the quality of their service and product. So I offered to pay them another $150 to take care of the dead (yes actually 100% dead) spots with topsoil and seed. They took on that service and never showed up for 2 months. (never paid them for that) Also lack of response was very un-professional via email. They did refund 2 of my final applications after I finally fired them. I would have been better off keeping the lawn they replaced originally. It looks the same only a few months after they put the new lawn in! Hopefully this warning saves someone else from going through my experience with ODDS and SODS

They did a really nice job on my yard. I m really happy with the result. Matt and his team are really professional and nice to business with. I will be using them again in the futur for sure! Great job and great team!

Had the pleasure of talking to Graeme today when he came out for weed control and fertilizer application. This guy knows his stuff and very patiently answered all my questions about grubs, overseeding, and looking after the new sod I had installed by another service (bad move on my part).Very impressed with this local, small lawn/garden service!!

Odds n Sods installed new sod in both my front and back yards a few weeks ago and it looks great! The team completed the job as promised and on time. The quality of the sod is excellent (far superior to the builder version I ve had since the house was built) and I am confident that the total price was fair. Odds n Sods has done lawn maintenance and garden work for me over the past couple of years and I ve always been happy with the service. Highly recommend.

I recently had 2 separate orders of winter driveway salt dropped off to my home after placing the orders via a FB post. The company was fast, reliable, and most importantly for me, affordable. I paid via Etransfer once the items arrived on the driveway. Quick, easy, and efficient. Highly recommend!

Used the company to deliver salt for sidewalks for the winter. Very efficient process from start to finish with the company. Responded to initial message very quickly with instructions on how to obtain the services in the most efficient manner. Product was delivered the same day the etransfer was sent . I ordered 2 buckets of their treated salt, which is also pet safe, which is a huge requirement for us. It was delivered as promised right to our door. Best of all, Matt was awesome to deal with! We would highly recommend their services and I would use them again and again!
