We ve been using Emerald for the last 3 seasons and our lawn gets better every year. We have some hard to kill wild violet but they continue to treat every visit to reduce. They are proactive in recommending treatment s without upselling you something you don t need. I love the night before notification so we can pick up toys or from our dog before they come. Plus the digital recap of the treatment - very efficient and green! Many of our neighbors use them which is how we learned of them.

I have a decent size yard. In the past, Ive been doing the weed care myself. Looking at YouTube videos; buying the concentrate, making the application myself and applying it as well. But it was time consuming and at best, it was bare-minimum. I still had to pull weeds out. It was too much time spent! This is my first year using Emerald. They are slightly expensive compared to the other popular brand names who drive by during Spring. I wasnt very happy after their first application. But whenever I contacted them or had doubts, theyve taken their time to explain the logic and science behind lawncare and how their application will bring long term improvements. As the season rolled by, Ive seen a stark difference between my yard and my neighbors. They are timely and professional. I get texts before and after with clear notes. They know what they are doing. Moreover, I didnt have to pull weeds. All in all, it definitely has saved me a lot of time and efforts.

The difference Emerald Green has made to our lawn is astounding. Our technician Johnny does a great job and is always nice to interact with and willing to answer any questions I may have. The lawn was full of weeds and looked mostly dead before Emerald started treatments. Now it is thick and green to point some neighbors thought we had new sod put down. I had communication problems several times with a big brand lawn care company. After waiting over an hour on the phone, I switched service to Emerald one year ago. Emerald is so responsive and more professional. I am satisfied with my decision.

Used the weed control from this company for 1 year(2021) with pre-paid service $300+ for 6 service appointments. They service only 4 times for the year saying they are combined couple of service due to covid-19. Never happy with the service, and it was informed to the service manager and they agreed to those complaints after the field visit.... with lots of live weeds in my lawn. I thought it was ok because i pre-paid and i never wanted to continue their service after its done in 2021. NEW STORY 03/18/2022 - with out informing anything they came to my property and did one of the service and put a service invoice hanged on my door for payment ...... Is it professional, this is the way a service company retain the customer ?? and now today they are saying will sent it for collection for 3/18 service invoice [Tracy from Emerald] .... Never recommend Emerald for weed control program, not customer friendly.... no impacts to weeds based on 2021 experience....!!!

While we are now former customers of Emerald, I d like to simply share why. One of the symbols of Emerald is Truth. Apparently, the employee who did the service did not tell us the truth when he indicated that they would come back out after 2 weeks if we felt the service did not solve for the weed problem. They refused to revisit our property to retreat the effected areas and indicated that it would be another $56 to come out. My ask was simply for Emerald to back up the employee that represented the brand. They persisted by saying NO. I ended my energies and efforts and will be moving on. I will also continue to share my experience in our community and on social media.

Very reliable and professional. Cost is reasonable for the area. We would highly recommend.

My grass looks great this spring!

Overall good but want to treat lawn 5 times when pro turf grass producers advise about 3 times except for problems. They want to charge extra for separate treatment of weeds like creeping Charlie which I m finding cheaper to treat myself with Roundup weed control that doesn t harm lawns.

Ive used emerald for fertilizer and grub /weed prevention for my lawn and deep root fertilizing for my trees. Mark and his team put a plan in place and handled all fertilization, aeration, weed control and got rid of the grubs too! Before I knew it my yard looked like dark green, plushy carpet. So happy! Not only do they know what theyre doing, their customer service is top rate. They take care of their customers and are a pleasure to work with. I recommend them to everyone I know. Seriously. Emerald has done fertilizer and weed control for my lawn since fall 2020. My lawn has never looked better, and I have gotten compliments from other landscaping companies on my lawn. I did not end up hiring this company however i felt like a review was in order. Very nice people, Prompt response regarding quotes and communication. I dropped stars based on the shady pricing scheme. I received 6 different quotes from companies and not one flip flopped pricing like emerald. Every removal or if you deviated from the Package deal, the per application pricing changes and is not set. The other part is that its automatically renewed each year, not a fan myself. Not saying the company is bad but the business model of price changing is a hard pass for me. It just comes off as shady work when 5 other company quotes dont flip flop like that.

Love using their service. I have never used a lawn care service before but now that I have I can see that they will be my vendor of choice. This is the first summer that I have not had to worry about pulling weeds or getting additional spray to help with the spread of weeds. Their service does go above and beyond where they will come out and respray for any additonal weeds that dont go away with their process. I also fully am grateful that I did their mosquito/tick spray as well. Not once did I have to go into the house because of the annoying mosquitoes. I will continue using Emerald Lawn Care for my needs.

Emerald Lawn Care service levels are fantastic. Our lawn looks so much better since hiring Emerald. The office staff is professional and take the time to answer questions. Dave Malikowski has been our technician this year. I find the technician comments on the invoice helpful. Dave cleaned up before he left, I noticed that would use a blower to clear the drive and sidewalk of fertilizer pellets. Very satisfied customer!

I used Emerald for a few years then switched to TruGreen because their pricing was lower - BIG MISTAKE! My lawn got worse. Emerald does a wonderful job, wont switch again!

Mark Utendor came out to give us an estimate a few weeks ago. I was blown away. The builder laid sod on top of construction material with no soil. Mark could of tried to sell me something but instead he gave me two solutions to redo/fix the problem. He spent over 15 minutes explaining the best route to go and follow up with emails referrals to the best vendors to use. There is a reason Emerald has all 5-start reviews-HONESTY & exceptional customer service. This is why I love small businesses and will forever support them.

I researched before signing up for lawn services in our area and Emerald kept coming up on top. Well we decided to give them a try in April and signed up for an entire season of treatments. We also added the core aeration and reseeding in the fall. I have to say that our yard no longer has any signs of bare patches in the front! The grass is full and healthy. You can absolutely see the difference where it meets the neighbors untreated portion. Make sure you listen to Mark when he says Mow high, at least 3 in or higher.

My wife and I bought our house in Schaumburg eight years ago. The lawn was a disaster to put it nicely, and we tried for several years to have one of the big name lawn companies help us resurrect it to no avail. Five years ago, I decided to look for another provider and stumbled upon Emerald Lawn Care. Since then, our lawn has lived up to their Emerald name it is consistently green summer after summer. Whats more, their prices are competitive but their service is truly exceptional. Mark and his team are truly a pleasure to deal with and ALWAYS go above and beyond when I have questions. One time I had questions about a weed that was taking over our side yard so I emailed them. To my surprise, Mark emailed back an hour or two later after going over to the house to take a look and told me exactly what needed to be done. I cant recommend them enough.

My front lawn had to be replaced three years in a row because of an undetected disease fhe first few years. Needless to say I was not happy. The third year I had it reseeded again in the fall of 2013. In the spring of 2014 the seeding was not coming in as full as I wanted. To be sure the lawn would take, I contacted Mark at Emerald Lawn Care. I had never used a Lawn Care company before. Mark came out and promised to have the lawn looking good in no time. He was right. With the help of Marks team at Emerald Lawn Care, my lawn is now looking the best it has ever looked. I enlisted Emeralds services throughout 2014 and Ive hired them back again for this year. My lawn was neglected and in need or repair. For what I felt was a very reasonable price (especially with pre-payment discount,) I got frequent visits, follow-up checks on my lawns progress and extra visits to re-address problem areas. Extra services (tree-spray, seeding) were available for a fair extra charge and Mark and his crew were always available by phone or email to answer questions and help plan the next steps. For those like me who would like to be doing all their own maintanence but will never have the time or the expertise, Emerald makes for a great partner in lawn care.

I thought our lawn was beyond help, but they managed to rid us of our weeds and a blanket of creeping charlie in a single season. Well be sticking with them next year for just fertilizer and weed maintenance for sure.
