Virginia Green Harrisonburg in Weyers Cave

I'm not sure if it was the Charlottesville or Harrisonburg group that came out here, but clearly they don't check their schedule accurately and just start working on a yard without verifying it's the right house. They were evidently scheduled for our neighbor but started on OUR lawn because "the GPS took me here and my schedule says house #15"- you don't check the house number before working? It was supposed to be the house across from us. I would not have gotten mad had he just immediately taken responsibility for his mistake but instead he blamed it on that, then looked at his schedule and said oh yeah "oh I guess it is house #18..." and he just didn't take responsibility for it and made excuses as to why (like that he rang the doorbell and I didn't stop him before he started on the lawn...umm, I have a job and I'm busy and don't always answer the door for strangers that appear to be solicitors??!! I also didn't hear the door, because there was noise). My husband agrees; wish they'd just have admitted the mistake instead of excuses first, after putting holes in our lawn. I banged on the window that he was working *right in front of*, he didn't notice- I had to go outside and yell/he didn't hear me, and then jump up and down to get him to notice me and stop doing stuff to our lawn.

Employees are courteous, polite and efficient. My lawn has never looked better.

After my neighbor and I both spent 900.00 last year to see that Home Pride came out a whopping one time to get a start on our yards, here we are. I have many bare spots, TONS of thistles (where you can't even wear flip flops in the yard), and nothing but clover. Our entire yard is weeds or bare, and honestly, it's better than our neighbors. It's very unfortunate a local company will take people's money and this is their results... embarrassing if you ask me. So embarrassing that I am now re-investing in yard development through TruGreen. I am very aware that getting your yard decent is a work in progress. However, this is pathetic. Pictures to come.....
