Poor follow up, missed commitments to retreat crabgrass. Continuously selling additional services.

Last year we had weed man take care of lawn & we saw a decline in its condition furthermore after calling multiple times the technician never made a trip back and the company boasts that they would. Interestingly the office only thanks clients giving them a 5 star rating and never addressed their shortcomings-hence why when they called this year to reup our service we turned them down. Good luck finding someone other than Weedman there’s got to be another company more reputable!

We’ve used a couple different services over the years. I picked Weed man b/c of the funny name but their expertise is no joke. I have that one neighbor next to us who loves to talk grass and lawns with me. After seeing our results compared directly to his, after two seasons of being frustrated with his service, cancelled and went with Weed man. I really like their high touch, great communication model. Great service! Nice people! Can highly recommend!

I want to express my disappointment with the recent decline in customer service quality from Weedman. As a long-time customer with multiple properties utilizing your services, I have always appreciated the care and understanding that Weedman showed towards its customers. However, in recent interactions, I have encountered poor customer service and unexpected additional fees that have compelled me to reconsider my choice of lawn care provider. It is disheartening to see a company like Weedman, which I had come to trust and rely on, fall short in such crucial aspects of customer satisfaction. As a customer who values transparency, reliability, and quality service, I believe it is essential for companies to uphold these standards consistently. Unfortunately, the recent experiences have made me question whether Weedman still aligns with these values. Moving forward, I am exploring alternative options for my lawn care needs. I hope that Weedman can address these issues and work towards restoring the level of service that initially earned my loyalty look forward to a resolution that benefits both Weedman and its valued customers.

Paid for two years of “service” with WeedMan of Hartford. Here are my ✨dazzling✨ results. Had a fairly extensive grub problem that took them two years of visits to identify. Paid for aeration, reseeding, and multiple other add on services to try and salvage my lawn but here we are. Last visit the tech apologized for not inspecting my lawn for the entire spring/summer season and said he would be back in two weeks to reinspect after I paid for an additional grub treatment. I am the only one in my neighborhood who tries to have a nice lawn and I am left with THIS dumpster fire result. And worse yet, I PAID a good sum of money for these “results”. Fired these hacks and I hope this review saves you from considering them for your lawn!

Won't write much but I lost my yard to grubs one year. They replaced it but got worse the following year. Lost everything. Coukd have been anything but I decided to move on. I need a green yard and so far that has not happened. And all I've gotten was excuses. High prices too. For what I was spending I should have seen some green not brown grass. That is all I can say here. Choose responsibility. I did not see the value. Perhaps they are no better than chemlawn at a more expensive rate. This year we will try another business who is a lot less for the same yard. I want to see what they can do.

It's a long story so I'll post the bullet points: - Had extensive grub damage during pandemic year even though the grub control application was paid for and supposedly applied. - Was told that they would come fix it in early May. Didn't come till late May (which comes into play later). - When they finally come, the techs do an incredibly lack luster job. Missing whole sections and taking short cuts in others. When we called to let them know they had missed some spots were never called back. Upon the completion of the lawn repair the tech never came to speak to me to see if I had any questions... instead he left a note with incorrect instructions for me to follow. -When another tech came out to apply the next application he acknowledged the grass should be way further along than it is and that spots were completely missed, but because now we are into June its to late to seed. - The only only solution to this problem I was offered was to continue to pay them for their services!!!!
