The entire crew at KD Landscaping are great. They helped us transform our front lawn. However, if you have an issue with something (in our case a tree which they tell you is under warranty) they will not respond. I ve tried to get in touch with them for months. No response. Good work up front but disappear if there is a problem.

Kurt and the entire team were professional and punctual throughout the process, providing guidance while incorporating my wish list at a fair price. Result was a vast improvement of looks and function with easy maintenance. Will be using for next phase of projects.

If we could give 10 stars, we would! We began an extensive backyard project that required many hands, minds and several sub-contractors. Kurt not only designed the plans, but he managed and communicated with all the subcontractors to keep everyone on the same page and to keep the project moving along. We hit some major snags and he stayed by our side through it all, finding solutions to every unexpected issue. It was an 11 month project and Kurt saw it through to the end, making sure we ended up with exactly what he promised. I cant recommend this company and its owner enough, and Im thankful to now know them as friends. Working with people with such high integrity was a breath of fresh air!

The KD crew did a wonderful job at our home. They added a landscape wall to the front, added accent lighting, replaced poorly installed gutter drains around the house and replaced the mulch with beautiful landscape rocks. The work was done in two days. The crew cleaned up very nicely after the work was done. Kara did a great job of managing the workers and explaining to us what was going on. No surprises. Used KD Landscaping to do major design and landscaping work at our home in May of 2022. Kurt and his team were outstanding. Were extremely happy with ALL the work they completed. We had all our overgrown 25-year-old evergreens, trees etc. removed and replaced. Additionally, we had two large / long retaining walls built. Our remaining areas were also refreshed and cleaned up. The service was scheduled and performed on time. The KD Crew (Kara, Nick, Estevan, Eric and Casey). Were very customer focused and professional. Waste of time. Called in for a quote, referred to their website to fill out a lead form. Get an email 5 minutes later claiming they are no longer taking new clients. Could have easily told me this over the phone....

Cannot say enough good things about Kurt and his crew! KD Landscaping installed a new sprinkler system a couple weeks ago. This is the first system I have ever had installed before, so this was all new territory for me. I was so impressed with the very first call, where he laid out everything I needed, even if I chose not to hire him. That, in of itself, made me want to hire him. He told me when their first availability was, and he stayed true to his word. In the landscaping world, keeping a time line is very hard to do with weather, etc, so I was very impressed. Kurt made it very clear from the beginning that he only uses the highest quality of products, and explained why for maintenance purposes. The sprinkler system is extremely impressive, especially the clock. It will not run when theres a chance of rain, which saves a ton of money in the end. There was a ton of ground damage after the install (which we completely expected), and Kurt went out of his way to fix everything to make sure everything looks good. Honestly, we really didnt expect that, so we were incredibly grateful. I would highly recommend hiring KD Landscaping. I certainly will have them maintain our system as well as looking to them to do any other projects. Thank you, Kurt!!

Too busy for me!

We had a new home built after ours burned to the ground. Our builder was supposed to do the landscaping however he never completed this or numerous other things in our house or on our punch list. I contacted KD Landscaping about the mess our supposed yard was in. Kurt promptly replied and came to our house to see what he could do. Kurt is an artist along with a landscaping expert. He made suggestions on how to make our yard and front of the house look like a show home. I must say what he said was very true! His team worked hard and clean to fix our unsightly, unfinished landscaping needs. All I can say is WOW!! Kurt is a man of his word, and his faith shows in everything he and his team does. Called last year to have someone come out to my home for an estimate along with yard cleanup. No major complaints with the leaf collection, but never heard from anyone regarding the estimate for landscaping services. Figured they just may be busy at that time so thought I d wait until spring this year and called again to have someone come out for an estimate. The receptionist apologized and said they ll guarantee someone will come out. This was almost a month ago. I ve read reviews on how great they are, but the first piece should be providing great customer service out the gate and at least follow-up with a prospective client. Guess my money isn t green enough...oh well.

Kurt and the KD Landscaping crew did an outstanding job for us. They worked to achieve all our expectations and more which included new landscaping on all sides of our home as well as foundation and drainage work. They had a special emphasis on our front landscape to beautify it as well as to assist us with handicap accessibility. It is perfect from the new sidewalk, retaining walls, and plantings to the superb lighting features which we love! Every day this Spring has brought us new surprises as the plants are budding & blooming. We couldn t be happier!

KD Landscaping did an amazing job on our patio. They have the most professional crew we have ever worked with. They are dependable and punctual. Their price was very reasonable and the quality of their work was exceptional. The owner is very responsive and called us almost nightly to see if we had any questions or concerns about the project. Had KD Landscaping come over to my house to give me some ideas about what to do with my front area of the house that was covered in vines and over grown bushes. Kurt the owner showed us his vision of what they could do and showed us different options on his laptop. I gave the ok to begin and in three days they had removed all the bushes and vines. They exented our mulch and planted new bushes , flowers and plants and even a beautiful tree that looks like a small weeping willow. The wife and I were very impressed and we recieved a lot of compliments from the neighborhood. Kurt stopped by during the process to be sure it was going as he envisioned and then again at the end to be sure we were satisfied. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend and used them again. Also the cherry on top was a planted had died three weeks later and he came by and replaced it personally at no cost. I forgot to mention he relocated our downspouts so we no longer have water issues near our house. Job well done KD Landscaping!!

Mr. Delong design and executed our landscaping on time and under budget, he communicated with us even though he was on his overseas trip. We already referred KD Landscape to several of our friends. When my wife and I moved back to Carmel in 2013, we used KD Landscaping to remove all the overgrown landscaping around our house and Koi pond, build retaining walls in front of our house and plant new landscaping. We have use KD Landscaping ever since. We also used KD Landscaping to take down trees, clean up trash in the woods behind our house, mow, edge and fertilize our lawn, spray for bugs in evergreens, and trim trees. They have also arranged for a roofer to repair leaks in our roof. The people always meet their commitments, are reasonably priced and will offer advice and suggestions if you want to do it yourself. I recommend KD Landscaping very highly.

KD Landscaping built retaining walls for us and used the wrong size stone. The walls kept falling down. We had to go to court with him to stop the construction. List a lot of money in labor and materials. Had to employ another landscaper to do the work correctly. I do not recommend.

I contacted Kyle, the owner, and expressed what I wanted. My area (live in a condo community with an HOA) was a unpleasant site. The job was completed yesterday and now I think I now live in a new place. Excellent job, have had so many compliments on the new appearance, and have had a neighbor ask for Kyles information. I am a tough grader and the KD Landacaping team is Five Stars. We were struggling with how to install an attractive outdoor patio and landscaping. We considered getting a landscape architect but Kurt came out and gave us a new vision and plan for our space. It included a fire pit, stamped concrete, landscape boulders and an eating area. It was quality work at a good price done on time.

We had Kurt and his crew do some landscaping in both our front and back yards. The work was completed on time and with great expertise! They really do beautiful work! We asked if we could add something additional and it was no problem for them to complete that work as well! I highly recommend Kurt and his team! Great work and a wonderful person as well!!

I contacted 2 landscape companies in early December of 2018 for grading work, seeding, sprinkler system and retaining wall to be done in spring of 2019. Kurt met with me and my wife and said he could get work done in December as long as ground was not frozen. I thought he was crazy with the mud. We had 4 nice days before Christmas and he and crew got the work done in 4 days. Kurt gave us some great ideas for around newly installed pool so we ended up adding a firepit and stamped patio off of our main patio. Looks great. Only issue was some minor problems with irrigation system. Would definitely use Kurt again.
