Jonathan Allen landscape in Westerville

Jonathan did an absolutely amazing job on our retaining wall. The level of detail in terms of how the wall perfectly followed our landscaping, the height of the wall was exactly level as it went from one side of the house to the other side with a break for the sidewalk where it again exactly aligned with the height of the steps. You won't find a more professional, honest and fair businessman to do your landscaping projects. Highly recommend and will bring back for any future projects.

First of all, out of all the landscapers I have called, Jonathan was the only one who was responsive and on time. He understands that time is important. If you want someone reliable, he is your guy. Mr. Allen installed a huge rose bed for me in the backyard. Not only did he take time to give me his thoughts and opinions, he made sure that I was going to get the best material for what my plants need. Having experience working with one of the most popular nurseries in Columbus he was able to really guide me in the right direction as far as advice. I have never had anyone be so thorough as Jonathan with his project. He made sure that the rose bed, which was once home to five spruce trees, had all of the tree roots taken out out, all weeds and woodchips hauled off, tilled the ground until the dirt was clean and prepped, filled in with the best dirt from Kurtz Bros, and then edged the bed. What was important to me was that he understood my vision and he took it and made it come true. I love that he is as excited as I am for my rose garden project. I cannot recommend Jonathan Allen enough. I wouldn't go to anyone else for any other project in the future. Reliable, good value, courteous, and passionate.

We had a timber retaining wall in our backyard that was rotting and falling down. Jonathan designed a new retaining wall using versablock. He removed the old rotting wall by hand because there was no way to get equipment into our backyard. He worked many days in hot weather this summer. We are so pleased with the beautiful new wall Jonathan installed. Not only is it beautiful, it is strong and rain water drains perfectly. We would highly recommend Jonathan's work.

I had the opportunity to observe Jonathan Allen’s work on several neighbors property. After much consideration I decided to have him stop by and look at what I desired for my front planter. He gave me his opinion on how he could re-design my flower bed to the look I was wanting. It didn’t take him very long to give his professional plan and it didn’t take me long to approve and sign the proposal. I love the finished look. The work was done in a timely manner. Jonathan is a perfectionist and very detailed. He doesn’t quit until you are pleased. I am most happy and will use him again for certain.

We were grateful for the opportunity to use some of our stimulus money to hire Jonathan Allen Landscape to show some much need TLC to the front of our yard. He was so enjoyable to work with, incredibly personable and fun. He really knows his stuff as a landscape artist and educated as a lot. (Neither my wife or I have a knack for this type of stuff.) He also volunteers his time and talent to beautify and maintain the entrance to our neighborhood, Forest Park. I assumed he must be based out of the neighborhood, but he's not! I think that tells you what a great guy he is. We'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

We have had Jonathan Allen do our major landscape projects for over 20 years. He is knowledgeable and meticulous in his design and workmanship. His professionalism is much appreciated as he wants to be sure we are happy with his work and checks regularly to see that previous projects are holding up. We have had him do a major backyard paver patio with seating walls, a front yard design and fire pit. He has planted many trees that have enhanced our landscape as well as shrubs and ornamental specimens. We highly recommend Jonathan if you are looking to upgrade or enhance your landscape design.
