I understand it gets hot in the summer but starting yard work at 7:15am is a little early and rude. Woke my baby up this morning from the loud sounds.

Would strongly recommend not using this company. Had them do landscaping on my home in the front and back yards and the work wasnt terrible, but the service and followup is not great. Communication was fairly lacking on a number of occasions of what was going to be done and when it was going to be done. The original quote was a certain amount and when the job was finished, the final quote was well more than what had been communicated and the final invoice was not reflective of a number of things that had been done. Things were going to be lower as we made changes, those prices werent lowered and when whole sections that were not done from the original quote, they were left on the final invoice and said it would be around the same amount anyway, so there isnt reason to change it. Like, really?! Now, the biggest reason I would not recommend this company, is that they promise that their work and products will be warrantied for an amount of time, but they dont. I had 2 sprinkler heads not working in spring and as a result part of my lawn was not getting water. I tried contacting them to come out to fix it and I got a hold of Jonathon one time and he said he would fix it and there wouldnt be a cost. He has since ghosted me without doing the work, wont respond to text or emails, and the bigger kicker is when you send a text and you can see that it was delivered and read, but then they dont respond. That is just so unprofessional. We are now 3 months down the road with me having tried to contact them and they wont respond. As a result of those two sprinkler heads not working and that lawn section not getting water, that section has started to die. I essentially have had to contact another company to have them come out and fix it, which is just down right wrong when you are told they will fix it, cover the cost under warranty, and that they would take care of their customer and not leave them out to dry. Jonathon is not the greatest communicator, doesnt follow up with what he says, doesnt do warranty work, and tries to sweet talk you or talk thinks up to get an effect. Stongly recommend using another company.

BUYER BEWARE Update 2024: Zero stars because the work absolutely does not hold up over time. If you use them, demand a mutually signed contract and hold them accountable. Found several issues where they had to reinstall a fence after their worker ran into it with their equipment. The fence was literally on the verge of falling over before I pushed the pieces back together. Several cracks in our concrete wall have formed and align precisely where the fence post bolts were installed (one of the posts is only standing up due to the other fence posts holding it upright). Wish I would have chosen any other company to do business with as they operated on a reactive level. I have already spent nearly $1,500 repairing all the irrigation issues and expect to have to pay more to get the concrete and fencing repaired. One irrigation contractor couldn't believe how they had put it together (using flex joint for a 1" main line??). The landscaping tarp they used is cheap, we already have numeroud weeds coming up through our rocks. I'm rather unsure of their longterm aims as a business because this level of work is not sustainable or acceptable. I would be embarrassed if it was my company. Old review: I wish I could give two separate reviews, one for landscaping, one for sprinkler/irrigation. Landscaping is done well (despite some poor communication). Followed our design, offered good suggestions, and, overall, we are happy with that side of things. We actually use our yard now and feel it was a good value. I also think that part of our problem was employee-related and not the owner-operator. Sprinkler/irrigation install is awful and overpriced and thus the two star review. Hire out your sprinkler/irrigation work. It will be cheaper and much less headache for the long-term. I had irrigation professionals review my system this week to see if it needed any repairs. I had already found leaks at three joints and had to replace four emitters, so I thought it was a good idea to get it inspected. Within a minute of conducting a pressure test, the metal joint under the backflow preventer popped and started flooding the front. I will also note, during the construction phase, we had to tear out our basement due to an irrigation-related flood that had happened earlier that year and this was mentioned several times during the landscaping phase + install (not to mention they saw the remodel contractors). Had I not got this inspected it, it would have cost me thousands (again) in flood repairs. The most aggravating part is that this is an emitter drip system with funny pipe, one of the easiest to install. The leaking joints just looked like they were hastily pushed together (only covered one ridge). Not that impressed, but I am happy it's not broken PVC. Overall: Good landscaping work, but don't expect stellar communication. Also, pay attention to add-ons, require a signed bid and consider reevaluating at each phase. The two stars is for the cost of the irrigation system vs. the missed details that could have cost me a whole lot of money beyond what I already spent. Otherwise, it would have been a four star.

JB Lawn put in some main water lines for my sprinkler system and some landscape rock.. Work was great. I have a leaking Back Flow Preventer and Valve box. Tried and Tried to contact Jonathon, I have texted him, Left him Voicemails since first of July 2021. He has ghosted me to do any kind of warranty work. Would I use them again ABSOLUTELY NOT.... do great work. More expensive than others but thought they would be better. But they are not...

I have worked with JB Lawn Works for years and they have been awesome. If there is an issue, I tell them about it and they fix it, no excuses, they just fix it. I highly recommend them for your property maintenance needs.
