Tree Plucker is the large tree removal arm of Weimer Tree Co. which has been serving Western New York for over 50 years and continues to do so. We focus on the use of a crane and grapple saw if access will allow, but we are also experienced removing trees in tight backyards using other tree removal methods. The equipment is designed to handle large trees in delicate areas safely, so we can ensure a proper tree removal in the safest possible manner. We are prepared to support residential clients, commercial, needing proper insurances. We enjoy helping local tree services, as our equipment is unique and working together we can provide a safer work environment for highly dangerous situations experienced in the tree removal industry.

Recently had 2 trees removed by Greg and his team, one at my daughter's house and one at mine. The experience was exceptional. The team was very professional, the price was right, and they left the property very clean. The radio controlled crane was used at my residence and it was quite a sight to watch. Highly recommend Greg for any tree trimming/removal needs.

After a windstorm a mature tree snapped and was hung up in another tree, a “Widow Maker”. It was leaning towards my neighbor’s driveway. Tree Plucker was referred to me and Greg sized up the situation and two days later the tree was down and the danger was gone. After he set up the truck, the tree was safely and efficiently down in under 15 minutes! Very smooth operation. Wow I was really impressed the guys brought in plastic mats to throw debris on to lessen impacts to the yard. And the man lift fit right through my small backyard fence and it was able to fit into a really tiny area next to my pool. I've never seen anything like that. complete package tree service from beginning to end. every piece of modern equipment needed to complete the job in one day.
Greg and his team did a great job in taking down several massive Ash trees and other smaller trees on my property. I had a question after they had completed the job, and Greg responded immediately on a long weekend. Awesome communication, friendly and professional.
I had several dead trees that were ready to be a real hazard. Called Greg who came by the next day to give me an estimate. Price seemed reasonable to me so I called him back to accept his offer. He and his crew were at my house the next morning. They worked through the day to get the job done. Cut up the logs, mulched all the cuttings, cleaned up real nice. You can’t beat their service.
Great company! I had a huge branch fall during high winds that wrecked my fence and was partly in my neighbors yard so I needed it gone ASAP. Called an left a message and Greg called right back within minutes. Sent him the pics and he gave a reasonable quote and said he could be here first thing in the morning. He had a big job in Boston already scheduled but he was able to show up nice and early at 7:30am as promised. Got the job done nice and quick, cleaned up and even had the wood chipper to get rid of everything. Greg is a stand up guy that really hooked me up and I definitely recommend him 100%. I'll use him again if I ever need it that's for sure.
The service was great!! We weren’t in a rush to get the tree removed and we were told it would be about 4-5 weeks. Then after 2 weeks I got a call on a Monday afternoon, they said they had an opening and could fit me in that day. They showed up an hour later around 145p, and were gone by 415p. They removed 1 big tree and one smaller tree. The workers were great and very pleasant to deal with. After grinding the stump and sending dust everywhere, they went over to my neighbors driveway and cleaned off their car with their blower. I was very impressed! Great service!

They came out and removed 2 tree stumps and did a great job. They were quick and efficient and did a great job cleaning everything up. Would highly recommend them.

Greg and his team were professionally and friendly. They did a nice job cutting down a huge pine tree in my front yard. They had all of the equipment to get the job done fast, efficiently and they cleaned up my whole front yard. I would recommend them to friends and family!

Excellent service and very affordable. Had them take down a full pine and crabapple too close to our house and prune up three others. On top of that, had them last minute remove three overgrown shrubs consuming my AC unit. Would highly recommend them for your tree needs.
We have used Tree Plucker a few times to get at difficult to reach trees in our yard. Greg does an outstanding job and is a pleasure to work with. Recently a high wind storm took down a large branch and Greg and his team came out the same day I called to clean up the mess and remove the tree. I highly recommend Greg and Tree Plucker service.
I purposely waited six months to write this review regarding my negative experience with Tree Plucker in order to give it adequate time; however during this time my feelings regarding this have not changed. I contracted with Tree Plucker in June of 2021 to cut down and remove a large Ash tree from my front yard, cut down two clusters of smaller Locust trees in my back yard and grind all of the stumps. These services were all provided as agreed, the work was good and everything was fully completed as expected. If not for the issue that I will describe next, I would have been fully satisfied with my experience with Tree Plucker. Unfortunately, while the Tree Plucker crew was on my property to complete this job, they also cut down three very large pine trees that very clearly bordered the side of my property without my knowledge or approval. I was alerted that this was occurring by a neighbor (since I was at work); however by the time I was able to get a hold of the owner, his crew had already cut down the majority of these trees. The owner informed me that my next-door neighbor had contracted with him to cut down these trees that day while they were still doing my job. I did not want these trees removed since they provided shade for my property and also buffered the street, nor did I ever discuss removal of these trees with the owner or anyone at Tree Plucker. Tree Pluckers reasoning for cutting down these trees without informing me was two-fold. First, the owner stated that he never questions if someone that he contracts with has the right to remove a tree. I would not expect a tree removal service to necessarily verify that trees are actually on the property of the person contracting them; however I would have fully expected him to check with me before cutting these three trees down considering that they were contracted with me and the trees were very obviously providing benefit to my property. He did not check with me at all and instead started to cut down these trees before his crew had even finished the job on my property. The second reason provided to me for cutting down these trees was, and I directly quote the owner, If I didnt take this job someone else would have. I fully appreciate that tree removal services get a significant amount of their business while they are working on other jobs; however this response spoke for itself. This reasoning, combined with the speed at which they jumped to this new job made and indifference toward the impact it would have on my own property, made it abundantly clear to me that Tree Plucker was far more concerned with grabbing a quick buck than respecting their existing customer. I am providing Tree Plucker with a one-star rating not because of any issues I had with the tree removal service that they provided to me, but because of their willful ignorance of the far greater negative impact they had on my property in order to get additional business.

Greg and his guys were great. Quoted me one price and he actually removed the stump for free afterwards as he said he initially thought the job was going to be harder! Class act and good safe work. Used my neighbors driveway as an access point and was very careful and gentle when doing so. These guys actually care and I appreciate their work! Would recommend them to everyone.

I had several trees taken down and trimmed by Greg and his team last fall. Both trees were near our unground pool and I was worried about damage. You can tell he has been doing this a long time. Greg went way above and beyond for me. Saved the pieces I asked for, removed the rest, ground up the stumps and cleaned up the area. I had forgotten to take Christmas lights off of one of the trees that I asked him to remove, and came home to find them nicely wound up and set aside safely. Couldnt recommend him enough!
This company did a fantastic job of removing a huge hickory tree and tall maple that were very close to my house. There was virtually no room to bring in any heavy equipment or cherry picker bucket so this was very much done old school by one talented tree climber with a chain saw and two people on the ground with ropes. There were numerous ornamental flowers and bushes at the bases of the trees that I asked to avoid. The cutting and roping process was incredible and not one bit of damage to anything. They were on time, professional and quick. They provided an upfront, written, reasonable and fair estimate and stuck to those numbers with no hidden or additional charges. Clean up was outstanding and the yard looked as it was prior but with two massive trees gone. They had to return for some minor stump removal and did so very quickly without any necessary calls on my part to finish. Truly a five star experience. Strongly recommend.

Im out of the Hamburg area. Greg is great, he answers all questions and concerns. He answers phone calls and even texts. He did a large job in a timely fashion, it rained and he still busted his butt for us to grind our stumps down. Great equipment . He was on time and cares for his customers and not to mention an even better PRICE! Will definitely do business with him again! Recommend him to all my friends!
