My husband and I knew almost immediately upon looking at Blooming Landscape's website and portfolio that we wanted to hire them to landscape and hardscape our yard. Upon meeting Michael for the first time, it sealed the deal. He was incredibly thorough, came prepared with a pamphlet of the different paver options, measured everything on the first visit, and was just very easy to work with. When we had additional questions and were confused, he came back out and answered everything live and really walked through the yard with us to give us a sense of how everything would lay out. Throughout the entire process, Michael let us know all our options and was very flexible and wanted to work with us and not necessarily dictate what we should do. It's clear he puts the client first. His team was also very professional, timely, and helpful. They even made some last-minute changes while the work was in progress. They transformed our very sad yard into a beautiful, blooming oasis and entertaining space. We went with Michael to choose our shrubs at the garden center, and he provided us with a watering schedule and has since been available to us when we have questions. Highly recommend! Michael, Maria and the team were great. I've reached out to previous landscapers before and didn't get any feedback. They were easy to work with considering the high peak season we hired them to do our yard. We had a bit of a wild forest with bunch of small 10ft trees in front of our house and they turned it to a beautiful garden with plants and mulch. The scope was well executed. They're highly recommended and I'd would hire them for our next outdoor project.
We are so happy we found Blooming Landscape! We learned about them after they did a beautiful job on a neighbor’s property and Michael and his team did an outstanding job on our front yard. Michael came up with the exact design I had in my head and recommended all the right plants that are both beautiful and low maintenance. The work was all done efficiently in one day for a very fair price and we are so so happy with the work. We will definitely be hiring Blooming Landscape again for future projects!
Michael (owner) and crew did an amazing job with my back yard. He is the most professional contractor I've worked with. Very articulate and fair. They built me a patio, walkway, deck landing pad, planted trees, flowers, shrubs. My yard is on a hill so I had trouble coming up with ideas. However, Michael brought his own ideas which couldn't have worked out better. I can't recommend a better company.
I highly recommend Blooming Landscape! We recently bought our house and after reaching out to several landscapers for a project to build a retaining wall in the front of our property, Blooming Landscape was the ONLY one to accept the task! They were there for us when no one else wanted our project, and more importantly they did an amazing job! In fact, it came out better than I expected and that’s with giving minimal instructions on how we wanted to look. Michael at Blooming Landscape took the basic description of what we wanted and turned it into a 5 star outcome. They work fast, the budget was economical, and the quality was top NOTCH! Again, I highly recommend these guys.

Michael was very responsive and consultative throughout the entire process. He took his time helping us with the design elements and educating us on appropriate plant choices for the space since we get a lot of shade in that area. His pricing was fair and middle of the road with the other companies we received quotes from. However, given his attention to detail and hardworking crew, the money was worth every penny. There was no electrical prior and we installed an irrigation system. Majority of other companies we had quote the project were unable to accommodate those options and tried to sell us on solar lights. We will definitely be using Blooming Landscape again for other projects.
Blooming is always on time for the lawn maintenance and spring and fall cleanups!
Service was great. However I left two voicemails to have them come out again one more time as there were still leaves at extra cost if necessary but calls were not returned

We have used Blooming for a garden wall and paver pathway project and they do good work at a fair price. We especially love our garden wall. We primarily deal with Michael and he gives good advice and never tries to upsell you, which I really appreciate. Blooming also does our weekly lawn maintenance and the guys that come out do a great job! The lawn always looks so fresh and clean after they do their work. We are happy to have Blooming for all our landscaping needs.

Michael was highly responsive. We met a couple of times to refine the design. The team was professional and did quality work. I will definitely be using Blooming again.
Blooming Landscape went as far as to provide a quote and request a $100 deposit for a relatively small landscape project involving excavation and leveling a portion of back yard. They advised me on the date the work would commence. They did not show up nor did they call to cancel or reschedule. I called to ask what happened. The receptionist answered and told me she would call me back and never did. They came recommended by a tree removal service we hired, but Blooming Landscape is very unprofessional.

Michael is so responsive, prompt, friendly, and professional unlike most in the industry. We asked for a quote and he came in no time and even included notes for how to beautify the property. Unfortunately, we could not go with them this year since my father, unbeknownst to me, renewed a contract with our current (unprofessional and unresponsive) landscaping service. I would highly recommend Blooming Landscape and hope to work with them next year.
Called to receive a quote for lawn maintenance on a property less than 2 miles away and I was informed that you do not do business in East Orange, only big projects. I guess, a repeat customer is not a big enough project for your business. And, you dont service those in your county or is it....never mind. Terrible! Dont worry, Ill be sure to spread the word.
Blooming Landscape was the best! Michael is super professional and attentive! I was in Verona and I had a few days to solve this matter, this was the only landscaping company that answered the phone and scheduled the visit for an estimate the next day! They had to take all the grass and weed of my garden and we replaced almost everything! Im waiting for the plants and grass to grow now, but I trust it will be beautiful!
