Pro Cut provides very professional services to all its customers. Since Pro Cut has been servicing my irrigation system all year round lawn has improved greatly. The lawn has come back dramatically with the programming of system correctly. The ladies in the office are always pleasant and willing to explain every detail to you and make sure you understand what service they are going to provide for you no hidden surprises. I was very happy with the foundation drainage Pro Cut installed on two sides of my late 1970s home. The job was to seal, install a membrane, put in gravel, and connect to a drain for a section of the front foundation; and the correction of water intrusion through the top of my foundation in the back. I got several estimates, and they came back competitively on price, but as important were the only ones to accurately diagnose the problem going on in the back. We have a cantilevered pop out from our kitchen with steps to the backyard that extend past the back roof. And the original patio which rises above the foundation. During heavy rains, water would get below the steps, drip back over the pavers, and seep through on top of the foundation into the basement. They did a thorough job and were good about walking me through a couple of tweaks in scope based on what we found digging things up. Would recommend.

I can describe my week long experience with this business as a Jekyll and Hyde episode. The person Alex, who I met at my home was easy going, appeared accommodating and was not the same person who barely a week later rejected doing our job. As a veteran corporate worker, what I witnesed was poor communication and project management skills and, exteme unprofessionalism. Alex, the VP estimator project manager guy, who drew up our proposal has a quick temper and forceful manner. He scheduled the job then called the morning of to say they couldnt go because marking had to be done. All I wanted was to understand what was going on with how our project was being scheduled. He steamrolled me, he didnt give me the opportunity to speak - but in the middle of our call he did tell me that the call was being recorded without proper disclosure or having my consent at the beginning of the call- all while accusing me of being aggressive. The office manager, Nicole is well mannered and took the time to explain to me the steps that needed to be taken to begin. My money was promptly refunded but now my project is in limbo.

I did a lot and major work at my property, grading my soccer field, put soil and grass , removed stamps and built two large terraces with boulders. Many companies came by to price the work but they gave me almost double the price from what pro cut priced out and did the work. I had to be a bit patient with their schedule because it was a very busy summer, but they did come and deliver the work at a level that I am very happy with. Great company great value! He custom designed a layout that was beautiful and magnified the curb appeal of our home. Pricing was worth every penny, for the work they did. When the team started working, Bill ensured that the project was completed accurately and on time. His team, was amazing (especially, Junior - site supervisor) they completed the project and left our property clean and stunning. The quality and craftsmanship of their work is stellar. An additional bonus is that contacting the office for any reason, is straightforward, Dahiana is very helpful.

Pro Cut just completed work on our back patio and front stoop/steps/walkway and we are very pleased with the work and experience. They demoed out our old deck, flattened the space and installed a large patio with steps off of the back door in 1 weeks time. They also repointed brick and laid new stone, steps and a walkway in the front yard in under a week. The workers were very hardworking (generally working from 8am-7/8pm each day), they were kind, respectful and took extra care in finishing the job to clean up, lay grass seed, and put in new mulch in all of our surrounding beds. Very pleased, highly recommend and will use them again for future projects.

Our home is located on a steep hillside in Piermont and taking on any projects, especially landscaping/exterior work, has proved to be an extra challenge. Finding a landscaping partner that knows the area and that is ready and willing to help with cleanup, design, soft and hardscaping has been an ongoing process. Thankfully, we found Alex and the team at Pro-cut. They have not only been incredibly responsive and helpful, but they have sent a fabulous crew every time. Professional, courteous and just down right good at their jobs. To-date, we have used Pro-cut for pesky bamboo removal, seasonal clean-up, sod placement, rock placement and stone work, mulching, planting, and design consult. After meeting with several pool companies, we chose ProCut for two reasons. 1. We liked that they would manage the whole project. With the other pool companies we met with, you have to contract separately with the landscaper to finish the job. Pool companies will not do things like regrade your backyard and build retaining walls (both things we needed). ProCut has existing relationships with pool companies, electricians, and plumbers etc. and they oversee all aspects of the project. 2. We had a good feeling about Alex. When we first met Alex, he told us that he does not just install pools, he transforms backyards. He asked what our ideal backyard would look like, then worked within our budget to make our dreams come true and we could not be happier. In addition to a free form heated pool with surrounding pavers, ProCut installed two retaining walls, one natural stone to level off the yard, and a second one with paving stones behind the pool with a water feature. They regraded the backyard, and did extensive tree stump removal (Alex was upfront and honest that he was not the most economical choice to clear a section of our backyard and referred us to a tree removal company). They installed fencing, planted trees for privacy, and laid down sod. They also installed the drainage system that was required by town code. We are both very detail oriented and Alex and his team were very easy to work with. When issues did come up he was able to come up with solutions that were often better than the initial design, and he did not nickel and dime us with change orders in the process. He is very passionate about landscape design and has extensive knowledge on construction and pool installation best practices. The crew lead by Hilmer was hard working and a pleasure to deal with. The town building inspector said it was the cleanest pool job site he has ever seen. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend working with Alex.

We contracted with Pro Cut Lawns at the end of last season for the first time as our landscaper started to not perform well at all. Pro Cut discussed our problem, forwarded pricing and corrected most of our issues VERY late in the season and showed us what they would do to improve our lawn for the new season. Other landscapers did not want to do a short term maintenance contract, approximately 4 weeks. They are very professional, show up when they say they will and do what they say they will do and most importantly know what they are doing.

First and foremost never filed for a permit with our town to do the work...talked about it, but never actually did it. What a headache that has become. Ripped out sprinkler heads and rain sensor on our existing system, didnt replace or fix any of that. Also buried a head... That one is still buried. He was supposed to come back the next year and fix any areas with issues. We fixed it ourselves. Built us a koi pond, that froze solid. Thank God I got the fish out before it was to late. Made tons of promises but once he was paid lived up to none. You still want to use him? Good luck... I only gave him one star because I had to.

I could not recommend Bill Fowler and his team at ProCut any higher. Quickly came for an estimate and provided a reasonable estimate right on the spot. His team was then at my house first thing the very next day. As far as the work goes, my wife an I could not be happier with the outcome. We had sod, plantings (trees, bushes, shrubs) sprinkler system and landscape lighting installed and all looks phenomenal. I even texted Bill about minor touch ups after the job was completed while he was away and his team was here the next day. I will definitely use Bill and his team again if/when needed!

Update : After posting the first review Alex reached out to us and we were told not to worry he will fix the issues we were left with when Bills crew came and damaged our paver patio. He apologized for Bill being so unprofessional and incompetent and we were told Bill just doesn t care anymore. We offered to post a great review when it was done. I had all intentions of posting a great review and photos but that isn t the case, we were left with a bigger mess. Alex promised the destroyed pavers would be replaced, we would get a beautiful circular entry way and it would look beautiful because he is sending his best workers to do the job. We trusted Alex and agreed to send his crew to fix it. They didn t fix it. They made a bigger mess. Stones not cut to fit, the stones were not sand/cemented in, no new circular beautiful entry way, and best of all, they never replaced multiple sections of stained stones from Bill s botched job. On top of that, they chipped our front stairs and there is a hole where they knocked off a stone. It looks worse than before. Chunks of the new pavers with no sand look weird in the middle of the old one that was correctly installed and sanded. After they left, we expected the next day for them to complete the job. There s still a large amount of stained stones from Bills crew and the stones aren t sanded together. We followed up with Alex and he threatened that if we take him to court we would lose. He actually said he would have about a 1% chance of losing . How is this possible if this company ruined our patio two times. They might be great at cutting grass but please look elsewhere when you want a pavers patio or your paver patio sealed. I didn t expect it to look worse but it does. Old review: Beware of this company. Do not have them power wash or seal your paver patio. These pictures are the result of Bill the owner not caring about his work. We hired Bill to power wash and seal our paver patio. The crew was sent in summer of 2019 clearly not experienced and destroyed our pavers. We are left with foot prints, smudge marks, roller marks and discoloration of pavers. Bills response: it s beautiful! Exactly what a paver patio is supposed to look like! Bill was supposed to come yesterday after chasing him for weeks to fix this and never showed up again. This has been happening since they destroyed our property. We had estimates from other companies to see how they can fix it and they all said the same thing. .. needs to be ripped up and flipped or replaced. We hope he shows up in small claims court when the date is set.

Range and quality of service, just amazing!

Bill and team came through for us when our power line broke between the power company box and our house. He was able to pull his team to excavate, call a fantastic electrician who was able to get the house back with power before nightfall (no small feat with the heat). Bill s concern for making sure my family had air conditioning going into a heat wave and not having any of our food spoil was awesome. I would highly recommend Pro Cut for landscaping or any service needs. Him and the office team are always professional and helpful!

Alex and his team were very professional and friendly throughout the entire project and it was completed in our time frame. His guys worked long hours and extremely hard. We had a specific vision for our new paver patio that would connect to our existing deck and the design incorporated a fire pit, seating wall, and pergola. He offered great suggestions while also being conscious of our budget. He was also willing to show us some completed projects that he had done as well as provide any samples we wanted to help with our decision on color and material. We were most impressed with his wanting to make sure we were happy with the final product, even if it required more labor, and he never upped the price because of it. Some companies will nickle and dime you for everything, but Pro Cut was very fair. It was a pleasure working together and we would definitely recommend them! Our new patio looks amazing!

Alex and the team do fantastic work. I had to replace a large concrete walkway and front porch. They removed the broken old structure and meticulously build an extremely high quality natural stone front porch with beautiful steps and a built in bench. It looks so much better now and is built to last a lifetime. Alex put together a fantastic design and he and the team completed a big job in an efficient timeframe. I highly recommend Procut.

I DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START!! Our property is very hilly & rocky and we always wanted to create a livable space outside but it was quite difficult to envision. We also wanted a pool and because of that it made it even that more difficult. We called Pro Cut for an estimate and Alex came out . The rest is quite the Fairy Tale . He was WONDERFUL and showed such an interest and enthusiasm to create & design an outside oasis that my husband and I were completely thrilled to say the least. Alex took on the project with such compassion just as if he were doing the job for himself at his own residence. I saw good reviews and loved the photos so called and made an appointment. Was called by Pro Cut the next day that the appointment had to be rescheduled so we rescheduled. My appointment was set for 5:30 and by 6:00, when no one had showed up I called and left a message. I called again at 6:30 and left another message. By 5:00 the next evening I hadnt received a phone call back, even after they missed the appointment and received two messages so I called them. The woman who answered couldnt explain why no one had shown up for the appointment. She then read back an incorrect address and an incorrect phone number. I had no idea where they had gotten that address or phone number with my numbers reversed since they had used the correct number to call and change the appointment. She then told me she would look into it and call me back. That was more than two days ago and still no phone call. Thankfully there are many other talented landscapers in the area!

I used Pro-Cut last year for a natural stone patio that we were having installed at our house. After having met several other companies, I called Pro-Cut and met Alex. Alex was extremely responsive throughout the project and was able to handle any curve balls the project through at it. He gave me some great ideas to improve our outdoor living space and was able to highlight the pros and cons of each suggestion I had. As a first time homebuyer, I am an extremely picky person who wants to make sure everything is perfect so we spent a significant amount of time going back and forth on stone options. Alex was more than flexible in meeting me at several stone yards (some 45 minutes away) to look through their inventory and choose the right product for our yard. The team at Pro-Cut worked hard and were extremely respectful to my wife and kids while performing the work and the patio turned out great. I have since hired Alex to take care of several other landscaping projects around the yard (installed a kids swingset pad, planted trees etc) and they have done a tremendous job. I am also considering changing lawn care services and using their lawn service next year.

Pro Cut Landscaping has been our landscape company for over 20 years. Bill and his crew have cut our lawn and performed fall and spring clean up all of those years. Bill installed a fish pond for us and has done paver work as well. Bill and his men have always been courteous and easy to work with. Most recently ( 8-22 and 23 - 2017) his men repaired the paver patio and walk in my back yard and trimmed trees and removed bushes in my front yard. The work far exceeded my expectations. I expected a reset of a few of the pavers, but his men felt the job would be better if they took up all of the pavers ( about 300 sg ft) and reset all of them. My patio and walk look like new again!

AWFUL - Sales pitch was great, but execution and oversight of services were awful. My many communications and requests were often left unanswered or they were severely delayed. I ended up terminating the contract and it took me several weeks to get a refund. Be careful - the prices may be good - but you get what you pay for.

Bill Fowler handled the planning and execution of my backyard transformation quickly and beautifully. He drew up a plan so that I could see his ideas on paper, complete with measurements and materials that I could choose from. The crew showed up every day until the job was complete, and never left a mess. I had another estimate from a company I use regularly, and Pro Cut was more reasonable. I am thrilled with the results from his ideas and love the view from my window! Highly recommended.

I needed some simple work (fence) put up in my parents yard upstate. Alex and his team could not have made this more simple for me to take care of remotely. One day it wasnt there, the next day it was, Pro Cuts guys are fast, and instead of dragging out the job to the following day, they actually stayed late to finish it up and make it look clean cut (the fence was in a bush area of the yard).
