Cox’s Landscaping & Design LLC in West Milford

I don't often write reviews, unless it's something remarkable. Joe came to our home and listened to all of the items we were interested in having done to trees, bushes and landscaping. He stayed in touch with me while we were discussing the details of the project, brought out his people who would be helping with trees and irrigation and worked with us on the price. This kind of customer service is old school and just doesn’t happen anymore…unfortunately. Joe and his crew showed up on the day of the project with a full tree crew who were so fast, clean and personable. He and his crew, worked hard to finish the landscaping project and cleaned up not only my entire yard but the neighbors on both sides of us. Cannot recommend them enough!

Definitely recommend Cox’s Landscaping for any drainage work you need. Justin came out quickly to get us a quote and started our project as soon as the snow melted. They have a hardworking crew who pays attention to detail. Justin worked with us every step of the way, and took the time to make sure we were happy.

Wow just wow! My yard is completely transformed! I cant believe the change and how amazing it looks. My neighbors love it too I get compliments all the time and in the three months since my job was done five of my neighbors have hired them also!!

We have been working with Justin and his team for many years now. His business is extremely family friendly and Justin is responsive to all requests we have made. His team is concise, on schedule and quick. We have even recommended Cox Landscaping to our neighbors and friends who have likewise hired them for lawn care and maintenance. Agreed to terms and then did less than initial agreed upon , anything additionally asked was an extra $50 despite how quick it was . Did not use baskets on lawnmowers . Ran over ornaments . Didn’t use leaf blowers to clean beds .All forgivable however , the lying about what was done and price gouging was too much to be forgivable . Claiming to be in business for however many years is irrelevant if you do business shadily.

Did a job at my buddies house in west milford. Did damage to the property in the driveway. Hid the broken pipe in back yard and only offered to do something once they were confronted. Very sneaky not professional behavior not what i want in a landscaper what about you? And they ended up not replacing it regardless to add insult to injury.

When a business and a customer agree to work together and an estimate is accepted by both parties then a customer should not be put off for 12 months and the projects not even started. A customer should not have to continuously “beg” for a start date. A customer should not have to continuously send text messages and emails to get the agreed upon projects started. It’s insulting and unprofessional. Had I known I was going to be blown off I would have tried to find another more professional landscaping business.

Wanted to thank Justin and Joe for the great job they did changing my mud soaked patch of backyard into a useable attractive stoned area! They showed up when they said they would, worked hard with a great crew and finished in one day. I’m very happy this this added outdoor living space. Thanks Cox’s landscaping, great job!
