If you're working with Greg Gilman you're in good hands! Greg's previous team replaced my whole lawn (~ 1 acre) and his new team at Green Light has been maintaining it since (fertilizer, weed and grub control). He's always quick to respond to questions or requests.

Greg has been taking care of an ash tree on our property. He is very thorough and has taken the time to educate us on how to care for all of our trees, plants and shrubs. Greg and Greenlight are highly recommended.

Greg Gilman is always a total professional and just a great person! Greg's knowledge and expertise are 2nd to none in my opinion and he is always there to help. Our experience with Green Light Lawn Care has mostly been with Greg Gilman. Greg has been a pleasure to work with as he spent a great deal of time researching different products to meet our needs and answering my many questions regarding the efficacy and safety of their lawn care products. He is a very knowledgeable person in the lawn care field. We have, also, dealt with Charlie who applies their mosquito spray and enjoyed working with him. This review is a little long but well worth the read if you are researching for a Landscape project. We finally completed our backyard project with Green Light Lawncare which utilized almost every facet of their business. There were many incidents and concerns which popped up during this 5 month project but I will cite the major ones. The only GREEN light in our experience, was the lawncare service. Greg is knowledgeable, easy to talk to and responds very quickly with service. YELLOW light: Beware of their proposals! Print each proposal and date it as if any part of the proposal is revised, the proposal is replaced with the most recent with the initial date. As a result, you can not compare the proposals and prices change even when there was no change to the job. Change orders that take place during the project are not initialed or signed by the customer prior to invoice. Document EVERYTHING! even conversations! RED light: Landscape Design! Kevin has very limited knowledge and resources of plants and trees. He placed trees in areas which they will outgrow. At the time of planting, I specifically asked him if the trees are too big for that area and responded, “No, they will be fine!” After research I did on my own, the trees were in fact too big for that area and other areas as well. I requested that the trees be moved or replaced. I was told to trim them back. A great lack of integrity to step up and to do what is right. Grass seed was thrown into mulch beds and now there is grass growing in the beds. We will not do business with Green Light Lawncare. If you dont care and allow them to do whatever they propose at their cost, you will probably will not have this experience but what will your landscape look like in a year, two, three or five? First photo shows drainage problem we had. Second photo shows John’s “solution”. He tore up my grass and dug a shallow trench, which just left a muddier mess than before and did not drain any of the water! I then hired a professional that knew what he was doing and installed tiles and a French drain. This is what I wanted John to do but he insisted his solution would work. Would not recommend!
