I waited a year to write this review so that I could rate the full experience. I contracted Way to Go to build a pool for my family after we just closed on our new build. I am extremely happy that I chose this company. From our scratch paper design, to breaking ground, all the way to dealing with some minor post construction warranty issues, Way to Go has always been a pleasure to work with and very thorough. They were happy to work with me and my budget while also delivering very high quality work. Having worked with other contractors in the past I am overwhelmingly thankful for the partnership and support of Way to Go. Special thank you to Eli, Doron, Eran, and Wendy for the support over the last 2 years from pre-construction, the build, and post construction support. Your team is amazing.
Miki and Way To Go Builders were absolute dream contractors. From the very initial visit to discuss our project, to delivering and re-working our estimate, to breaking ground and navigating a full pool remodel, the team at Way To Go, and Miki in particular, were terrific to work with. As an owner of an older house, we’ve had a handful of experiences with larger remodel and construction projects. There is no shortage of contractors in Los Angeles. But there is, unfortunately, a shortage of professional, experienced, reliable, and flexible contractors. Way to go was all of those things for us. We had a very old pool that came with our house (original construction of pool was at least 40-50 years ago). After using the pool for about 3 years our pool maintenance company told us they could no longer keep it clean due to leaks and the old copper piping. Additional issues were that it wasn’t up to code and the overall structure of the plumbing needed revamping. That of course means stripping the entire plaster (which was also on it’s last legs) and then, through the process, redoing the entire concrete decking surrounding the pool. I had numerous contractors come to the house and work-up estimates. Some came pretty low, but their reviews weren’t great. Some came incredibly high, but they wanted to do more than we needed. Miki came out, listened carefully to what we needed, what our primary goal was with the reno, and most importantly what our budget was. He was attentive and didn’t push anything extra. He delivered a proposal that was fair, and even worked hard to tweak the deliverables to meet our budget. He never was pushy or oversold us. Once we had a signed contract, Way To Go Builders were at our house within a few days. They worked quickly, courteously, and there was constant communication the entire project. Miki gave us a clear timeline at the onset, and he met every mark along the way. If there was an issue (and there is ALWAYS an issue, it’s inevitable), the team communicated it to us immediately, gave us options and clear cost outlines (never unreasonable and always at cost to keep the project moving), and gave feedback to ensure we were happy. In the end we have a brand new pool, gorgeous pool decking, and a great addition to our home. We could not be happier. I don’t often write reviews, but for these guys I’m happy to put our experience out there. I’ve also notified Miki and Way To Go Builders that they can refer any potential clients to us for feedback. We would (and most likely will) use Way To Go Builders for future outdoor projects.

The only hard part was that he has so many projects at once not enough oversight to check in progress with his workers to check quality. Had a few mishaps along the way but that happenes with EVERY construction project. What’s important is how the contractor resolves the issues and Joseph did an amazing job at that!
After getting a few Estimates, I decided to use yelp and the first recomendation was Way To Go Builders, Inmidiately we got a response and the lady was able to schedule an appoinment with Gal and Micki, they got in touch with my Husband and set up an appoinmentto come by the next day. Gal and micki came right on time , very professional, They were very prepared and measured my backyard shortly after they asked what we had in mind and i had explanined the vision we had. we been currently living in our house for 10 years and we felt that our yard had potential for more. the whole process was quick and easy, when Miki and Gal came to do measurings they also brought samples of the artificial turf, which was really nice. They are great listeners and also gave me a few options for the outcome look so it can elevate better the space. I checked their Instagram page and all their work is Beautifully executed. the working cres cam early morning on time and they worked for a period of 5 days, Miki and Gal came to supervised the process from beginning to end. Also i wnated to add that our diving Fence was almost falling apart and we reached out to Miki and he was able to draw out an estimate fairly quickly and we loved the price they gave so upon discussion with our neighbors they werehappy to have the do our fence while they finish our current Project. The fence took two days to finish. If you are looking to have some work done to revamp the look in your home, Dont hesitate to give this guys a call, they keep their word and the quality they offer is excellent. We had the chance to work with Josef from Way to go Builders. He was very nice and professional. He listened to what we want and helped us transform the backyard. He explained to us in details about the project and provided the clear breakdown of the cost. He also addressed all our questions and concerned during the project. His team was very good and efficient. They were able to finish the project earlier than the promised timeline. They paid attention to detail and cleaned the area after the job was done. We are very happy with the work and definitely recommend Josef and his team.
Joseph and Miki did an excellent job with our whole backyard rennovation! Not to mention they are extremely responsive, take action and positive people to work with--THANK YOU GUYS! They did an excellent job providing us solution and dealing with some things that came up on our end which they handled seamlessly. (I don't write reviews unless I'd recommend the person to my family or friends.) Joseph emphasized communication at the beginning and this was important as it would be with any big job. As you follow the work being done, bring questions/changes up quickly and this is where they excel at responding and revising things to make the customer happy!
After interviewing several contractors, we selected Way to Go Builders for our backyard remodel. The entire experience, from the 3D design to the final finishing touches was a fantastic experience. They came in and designed a backyard of our dreams (we would never have envisioned what they designed) and the 3D renderings really gave us a true vision of what it would look like. The communication and process of signing contracts was extremely professional and accurate. Our project manager, Gadi, is a true experienced professional. He set proper expectations, managed the budget to the penny, was always available to us when we had questions. He was always on site overseeing each crew as we went through the different phases of the project. The teams he brought in for each piece of the project were super nice and the quality of work was amazing. In the end, the 3D renderings are exactly what we got! We had been living with our crummy asphalt driveway and patio for years until we bid several companies for the job. Way to Go was awarded our job primarily because their price was decent and I really enjoyed working with Joseph Feldman - our assigned foreman. All the guys working on our property -Edgar, Jaime, Chris were all well prepared, thorough, smart, very timely (!),courteous, and they did absolutely EVERYTHING to COMPLETE satisfaction! Superstars who really care. Sometimes I had to ask for some detail to be corrected or adjusted, but they always did it with a smile and the communication was the best I've ever seen. NEVER was a question or request left unanswered. These guys are AMAZING and the name says it all - they are THE WAY TO GO! Here's some before and after pics...
We did a project with them to redo our entire backyard, we redid our pool and added a spa, did a firepit and artificial turf. We are so happy with how it turned out.
We worked with way to go to remodel our pool and backyard. It is very evident that they care immensely about the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their customers. Joseph, Edgar, Ben, Chris, Pancho, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of the job was performed to the highest standards. Even though there were some small hiccups along the way, which is due to the nature of the job, they always took accountability and quickly made adjustments accordingly until we were completely satisfied. This I find is a rarity among contractors and developers, so kudos! I would work with them again in the future and highly recommend them.
If u want to hire this company make sure you ask for Edgar he is the best he knows his stuff and he makes sure you happy with his job he would not leave until your satisfied
Josh was the project manager for our driveway project. We were looking to pave our driveway. Josh walked us through all the options and patiently answered our questions. They were able to schedule our project promptly and were able to complete the whole project in less than 3 days. Josh kept in touch throughout and answered all of our questions. He visited the site everyday and made sure that the whole place was cleaned up at the end of the project. We love how beautiful our driveway looks!!
I had my backyard paved by these guys in Long Beach, CA. They did a decent job at a very competitive rate! They paved 1200 sq ft area with gas lines laid under, an integrated slope covering planter, irrigation system and central lights. The project wasnt as easy but they handled it really well and with a pro grade quality. They paved slopping around existing drainage system provided by the house builder which proved to be correct as recent rain season showed no flooded areas in the backyard. Even though we had few disagreements in the course of the project we found common grounds and completed project successfully and in a given timeframe. Like I said their rates are VERY competitive and they are generous in discounts. I did 5 quotes and they easily beat them all by at least 15-20 %. Especially I noticed their gas lines rates are amazing! If you do GAS just hire them right away. You wont find any cheaper. The rest is the same.
Ive been trying to get this project done for years, and Way To Go Builders is the only one who could do it. I worked with Joseph on a majorly complicated asphalt driveway, retaining wall, and fence in the Hollywood Hills. He was a hero who dealt with difficult neighbors and property lines and geographical conditions and sub-contractors and last-minute changes gracefully -- and hes handsome, too. I definitely recommend working with WTGB.
We worked with WTG Builders to get artificial truf. I got 3 other quotes but we chose to work them for two reasons 1. Simple and efficient communication, email quotes, professionalism 2. They did what they said would do, no games. We love the work and they did it in a timely manner.
Its a great company to use for front yard landscape and hardscape. Joseph was the project manager who I mostly had communication with. He is very responsive and easy to work with. Any issues or concerns that I had, he tried his best to fix them.
We did a significant backyard re-do, with lots of paver paths, new fences, new decking and railings, and new sod. Everything went great and looks amazing! Id say the most impressive things about the job were the precision and quality on the pavers and the speed that the work was done. There were really a lot of very different tasks and we never hit any of the typical delays where one part moves slower which bogs down other things. Everything just kept moving. Josef was excellent with communication, and anytime we had a question or issue he responded immediately and was onsite or had someone onsite immediately. All in all it was an excellent experience.
Eli was great to work with. We had some hiccups along the way when remodeling our backyard and pool and Eli was always available to answer questions and fix the problems. The job was done on time and to the standards we expected. I highly recommend.
Its one of the best companies Ive ever dealt with. Home improvement can be a scary prospect, but WTG Builders make it easy. From the first meeting until the last final touches, WTG is reliable, trustworthy, hard-working, and a great value. They use the best crews and workers. But, the key to the whole success was our project manager, Amit. He was always available and went out of his way to address any concerns and handle any problem. By the end of the project, he felt like family. I cant recommend WTG highly enough!
We recently worked with WTGB on our pool resurfacing (and split drain addition). We HIGHLY recommend using them (and specifically requesting Gadi). Were new to the pool game and Gadi patiently (and quickly) answered our many questions. He was kind, knowledgable and communicative. He explained the process and kept us updated on timing throughout. The pool looks beautiful. We look forward to future projects with WTGB.

Eli and his team of amazing workers put in a large curved walkway/driveway made of pavers in our front yard. This was done in February 2022, but I completely forgot to write a review about the expedient, neat, and beautiful job they did. It only took three and a half days for them to rip out my front lawn (since its going to die anyway without abundant water), grade everything, and install the professionally designed walkway. Thank you Way To Go Builders!!!
We needed the floor of our condos patio redone, and Roy came out right away, presented a plan and a price, and had a crew ready to start within a week. Everything was extremely professional from start to finish, and the final result was beautiful!
I worked with Jonathan on redoing our patio and installing a patio cover. From the first day we met he was already at the top of my list of people I wanted to work with I ve been beyond impressed by the there responsiveness and attention to detail if your gonna do anything with your yard call them.
We just used Jonathan and his team at way to go builders to redo our pool deck with pavers and it came out terrific if your on the fence about getting a job done go ahead and do it you wont regret it

Way to go builders constructed a rockery retaining wall for me as part of my new home construction. My site was exceptionally difficult to work on because it was very steep, the excavation contractor had over-excavated into the hillside (leaving a cut-wall too tall to be retained by the maximum allowable 6-foot wall, as planned), and my newly constructed house crowded their machinery into a space only 12 feet wide. Way to go developed a solution to all these limitations. And, with caution, care, and deftness, they built over 200 lineal feet of granite rock wall ranging from 3- to 12-feet high and never even touched the house in the confined space. Because I had such a positive initial experience with the company, I found more work for them to do. They rip-rapped two slopes, regraded a hillside, expanded my parking area, added topsoil, and placed decorative gravel around three sides of the house. They also advised me on planting options. I have since recommended them to others, because I am fully satisfied with the work they did, found their price reasonable, and enjoyed working with their people.
