Prefer Home Depot Lowes make returns difficult

Among the big box stores, Lowe's Garden Center is the better place to come for your gardening needs. If you are looking for basic items like potting soil, mulch, generic pots and materials like plastic or fabric sheeting for weed control, you will be fine here. For these sorts of items Lowe's will be better and cheaper than say a specialty garden center. For plants Lowe's can be okay. Again, for basics or common varieties. Otherwise go to a specialty store.
