This is our third job with Trout Brook Arborists and we are very pleased with their services. Andrew & his team are very responsive, thorough and friendly. They cover the gamut of work from big tree removal (most recent job), to yard work to gutter cleaning. High quality services with high quality equipment. The most recent job was the removal of a large spruce tree between our house and the neighbors, The Trout Brook team took the large tree down in 4 sections using their crane, chipped it all up, cut some fire place lengths for me and cleaned up all within ~ 1.5hrs. Later that day they ground the stump, cleaned up all the chips and moved the curt lengths to my backyard. Left it almost as if there was a never a tree there all within 4hours or so. Thanks to Andrew and the Trout Brook Team for another excellent job done. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for tree and landscaping work!!

Troutbrook arborists have been maintaining my majestic pin oak for years. I wouldnt go to anyone else. Andrew and his team are the absolute best and they are reasonably priced.

Crew is very good. Trimmed a large Japanese Maple, a weeping red bud and a Kyoto dogwood. All came out well. Clean up was very good. Ive used them in the past and will continue to do so.

I had an emergency with a broken branch down on one of my trees resting on a wire at my home and Trout Brook came right out the next morning after I had called them. They came to evaluate/ estimate and then that same day also came and did the work! The guys were very nice and helpful and they did a great job, ended up taking down other limbs and did some pruning of trees that had branches close to other wires as well as some hedge pruning/shaping. Would definitely call them again first for any future tree work on my property.

This is my 4th year using Trout Brook for gutter cleaning, and they always do a great job. They use ladders to get to the high gutters, blowers to make sure they are clean, then clean up the driveway and walkways when done. They come when scheduled. Theyre great.

Trout Brook Landscaping did a great job trimming a very old tree in my yard to take the weight off of a large storm damaged branch, and hopefully extend the life of the tree. They have also provided me with guidance on taking care of trees and they trimmed other trees in my yard to keep space from buildings.

We have had such a great experience with Trout Brook Arborists. They cut 2 enormous trees down for us at a reasonable price, constantly kept in contact with us throughout the entire process if anything changed in the plan, ground up the stumps, and even helped us cut the tree into large pieces that I could then mill or handle myself to cut up into firewood. They also offered to take away everything to be disposed of if we had preferred. They pruned our trees in front, and every job was handled extremely professionally. Despite the unexpected loss of a very expensive tool during their take down of such a big tree in our yard (it was a 200+ year old oak tree and very, very heavy), they didnt charge us more than their original quote. Andrew took a large amount of his own time to share some of his vast knowledge about our trees, how to best take care of them and plant new ones, what we could expect when one of our other large trees had been damaged, and he even shared some chainsaw maintenance techniques Id never heard of before. They dropped off some wood chips for us for our playground, and have, throughout our entire relationship with them, provided us with a tremendous amount of value. We would recommend them to anyone!

Being new to the area, I reached out to Trout Brook Arborists after seeing lots of positive feedback in a neighborhood Facebook group. While receiving a quote, I also received an education about our trees and the area. It was very informative and helped me to decide between trimming a large tree versus removal and stump grinding as many of our neighbors have done. We also had some other trees growing behind our garage and they removed them for a small added cost. The quote was fair and comparable to others and the communication was terrific. We anticipate another project this spring and I know who Ill reach out to first!

WOW. That s all I can say. Andrew and his team were punctual, quick, very professional and hardworking. We had a GIANT silver maple on the property we bought a year ago. Many limbs were dead, and the roots were pushing up our driveway and getting into our pipes. It had to go. Andrew and Trout Brook Landscaping were recommended to me by other local West Hartford neighbors through a local Facebook group. He was quick to come out, assess our tree and give us a quote. We were especially impressed by ho passionate and knowledgeable he was. His quote was the lowest out of all the quotes we had (some were over $2k higher!). Highly recommend the Troutbrook team. The removal of a very large oak tree between two residences and electrical wires from across the street went efficiently and smoothly. Andrew, the owner, coordinated the electrical drops and reconnects with Eversource and GoNet perfectly. The price was fair given the size of the tree, four feet in diameter, more than 80 feet tall.

Do not use this company!! The workers dropped gates and heavy equipment on my lawn even though my neighbors were the people having work done. My lawn caved in and despite two messages the owner, Andrew a West Hartford resident, finally got back to me three days later then decided never to call me again because he decided there was no problem In his calls he is sarcastic, demeaning, rude, and belligerent. When I finally called he said don t you have a life? This is not critical. It s not a big deal so Andrew the owner, feel other people s property is no big deal and he can do whatever he wants. He said he won t use insurance and that if he did anything it would take his profit. This is not the kind of business person you want in your neighborhood certainly not in West Hartford. If you use him beware he ll just use your property as he sees fit. Beware beware beware beware Use Zysk landscaping and Walgren tree experts or anyone else that s reputable.

We had our pear tree and weeping cherry trees pruned and a mulberry tree taken down quickly and professionally by Andrew s team. We had great communication via email and text. Will definitely look to Trout Brook Arborists for future tree projects.

I found Trout Brook Landscaping crew to be a very efficient and effective operation. The owner and crew were earnest and hard working. I had three dead trees removed, plus pruning of a large Oak. Yes, there was some impact to the lawn, but it s to be expected with such large machinery. The crew was prompt with patching and seeding all damaged areas. I recommend their services.

I can not recommend Trout Brook more highly. We had an urgent snow removal issue (with sidewalk responsibilities) while out of town for a holiday, and Andrew put our minds at ease. After calling around frantically and getting no answer from other companies, he rose to solve our problem the very same day (a holiday, no less). Ive known Andrew, the owner, for a number of years and hes been a very honest and trustworthy person. Over the yearss worked at two properties I have lived. Hes done tree trimming and mowing. Andrew Bachman runs an excellent business and always has the customers needs and interests as his first priority. He is knowledgeable, professional and passionate about what he does. Ive worked with 3 other tree service companies previously. They got the job done, but each time there were issues that reflected a lack of concern for the customer - broken walkways from heavy equipment, dents in the yard from tree limbs dropping while cutting (neither of which were addressed or acknowledged by the company), hidden fees I didnt know about til the end like stump grinding or wood removal. Andrew gives you all information up front and will patiently go above and beyond to discuss the job and for as long as it takes until the customer feels comfortable with their decision. Tree work is expensive, and Trout Brooks guidance makes it feel much less risky. Great crews and office support, too.

Andrew and his team are great. Weve used them for gutter cleaning and maintenance, snow removal and landscaping. I have to commend them for being so prompt and organized with the snow removal as we have very difficult work schedules and need snow cleared promptly and they are fantastic with that. We have had an account with Andrew for four years where he has personally overseen all of our landscaping needs: mowing hedging, tree removal etc. He followed us from our house in West Hartford to a new larger property in Bloomfield that we recently purchased. My impression is that Andrew and his team do not stop working until they feel the job is perfection. I can recall one lawn mowing where Andrew got on the ground to use scissors to finish an area of grass he felt was uneven that they couldnt reach with the machines. I always rest assured my property is in good hands with these guys.
