I first called Celio after a tropical storm and didn t think anyone would pick up on a Sunday afternoon. He picked up the phone and said he would be out first thing Monday. Celio arrive at 7 am, gave me a very reasonable price and said my guys will be here in two hours. Since that day, I ve had six mature trees taken down and every experience has been excellent. The crew gets to work, keeps to themselves and have obviously been working together for years.

American Landscaping removed 4 large trees, stumps, roots and all for me. Throughout the project, they responded quickly to every call/question, they showed up when they said they would, and everyone in the crew was courteous and professional. They took extra precautions when they were stump grinding close to the house, and used shields to protect the house from any debris that was thrown. They also cleaned the job site every day before they left, including hosing down my siding from dust the grinder generated. Taking the extra step with small details like that shows they take pride in what they do. Overall, American Landscaping exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree removal services or stump grinding.

This business deserves more than 5 stars. They sent someone (John) out to give a quote minutes after I called; their quote was extremely reasonable and he was pleasant, personable, and honest. They scheduled the tree removal immediately after I called to tell them we want to move forward. The receptionist is so helpful and very responsive. If she did not have the answer, she would call back soon after. When the time came to remove the tree, their guys did an amazing job. It was super quick, efficient, and clean. My tree was in a very narrow area of my lawn with wires and the house surrounding it; it was a seamless cut. It was late when they finished, so they came back to grind the stump and the area looks phenomenal. I would recommend John and his guys to anyone. I will definitely be calling them again if I ever need to. Thank you!!

I am amazed at their responsiveness and professionalism. I had a very dangerous leaning tree that few arborists would even get near without a crane. These guys really knew what they were doing and I would swear that they actually enjoyed the engineering challenge of safely removing the tree in sections. Awesome job!!

Alex is the worst. I have been trying for over a year to have him fix things he did incorrectly on my patio. He says he is going to show up but never does. Just spoke to someone else with the same experience.

I would recommend American Landscaping and Tree Service for my experience with their tree removal service. The crew arrived on time on the scheduled day. They were very professional and accommodating. I wouldnt hesitate to have them do any additional tree work that might be needed in the future.

The company promptly came out to assess my situation and helped me choose the right trees. (About 10 including some fairly large oaks.) The quote was fair, they started on time and completed the work as agreed. The employees were friendly, professional and highly competent. Its refreshing to deal with people that are competent, professional and do what they say.

OMG - this company is amazing. They started work a week early, which was appreciated because I had to wait for their work to finish so I could begin fixing my lawn from another job. Ive never seen such brilliance in team work. They take good care of your lawn with their machinery, work carefully, and they work so hard. They must have burned like 10 billion calories. Now I want to work for them and ditch my gym membership. When they were done I literally went outside and gave them a round of applause which they appreciated, ha ha. I told their supervisor who came at the end (which I also thought was cool) that I thought they did a stupendous job. I was honestly so impressed. 5 stars all around.

American Landscaping just completed a job for us and we are beyond impressed!! From start to finish the team was polite, respectful of our and our neighbors property, extremely efficient and came prepared for New England Spring weather. They made sure to protect our lawn as much as possible from tire tracks and limbs/trunks dropping, cleaned up all debris and brush along the way and left our property in better condition than what it was when they arrived. Their pricing was extremely reasonable for dropping three trees, stump grinding and hauling away pieces we did not want. They used not only standard safety equipment to protect themselves, but also masks to aid in protecting their valued customers during this COVID-19 pandemic. When we moved to Farmington, the one thing our house was missing was a backyard. I hired American Landscaping Llc to take down a dozen trees, put up a custom made fence and install a paver patio, every part of the job was executed beyond our expectations... The estimate was very reasonable and the work was completed much faster than I expected. The team was very professional and respectful. There was one problem with the job and that was access to the area to be cleared. The guys had the right equipment to pull off the job, quickly without damaging anything. We were extremely impressed with the skills of the crews. In this day and age, it is rare to find that level of customer service. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors based on that reason alone.

We had a giant pine tree in our yard that always made me nervous when the winds and storms came through. Last fall during a series of storms one of the trees giant limbs fell. Thankfully it fell without hitting anything, but I knew it was only a matter of time. A friend recommended American Landscaping. Celio came out and looked the tree over and gave me a very fair estimate. The crew came on the day we agreed and took the tree down in a precision manner. The equipment they used was sophisticated, yet didnt leave a trace. I couldnt be more happy with the work they did. Im getting ready to have them back to take care of the stump. I dont write reviews often, but felt compelled to do so based on the outstanding results and service we received. I highly recommend these guys.

We had them take out 3 100+ trees along with trimming and removal of numerous other trees. They did an outstanding job in finding ways to drop these enormous oak trees with minimal damage to remaining trees. Roger was our foreman and he was an artist in his teamed work. They did a great job cleaning up and even help with our insurance claim submission. Their price was great and they were quick in their response. I would highly recommend them

We have used American several times and they are the best landscaping company in the area. They have cut down 12 trees in our yard and they completely flipped our backyard into a safe, usable space. Before them, we had about 20 thorny bushes, a big unsightly black fence, a large hill and a very uneven stone patio. They tore out all of that in one day, then they leveled the hill a bit, leveled the entire area and filled in all holes, removed stumps and planted grass seed (and watered it while we were away!!). Now we have a wonderful space for our kids to run around and enjoy themselves thanks to American. My only complaint about American is that theyre pretty busy and you never know when to expect them. One day you look out and theres a tree cutter or a bobcat sitting in your yard. But they get the job done right the first time and you cant beat their speed on their projects. I absolutely recommend them to anyone in the area!!

Stay far far away from this company, I called on May 09th to make an appointment for my trees to be trimmed. I was told I would be given a call back in 24 hours. No call. Called back two days later, still no response. that should have been a huge red flag however it being prime spring season I figured I would give them a chance. They can 4 days later-provided an assessment and said they would put me in the schedule. I called on Monday due to no confirmation of the date- had no clue when the day was and finally put me in the books. Day came-no one showed, made sure I was on the schedule. They sent two guys at 5:30pm who laughed when they came and said they needed the lift and this was not a quick job like they boss said. They said they would return the next day, no one showed. This has now been 6 weeks. I called the next Monday and they had me in no schedule at all, regardless to say i was very upset and the manager came out and said they would be there the next day. Guess what? NO ONE showed! Please be wary of this company!

I thought this company was good at first. But in dealing with them a 2nd time told me this company is very bad. Their customer service is totally horrible. There is very little response from the office manager. We were told our landscaping work would start today, September 27th. I sent an email yesterday to confirm. There was no response at all. Today is a sunny day. So there is no reason for them not to start the job. After sending a 2nd email, Celio called and said due to so much rain, they now cant start the job. But I know for sure they are doing other jobs elsewhere. They have not closed their office due to the rainy weather. What a ridiculous excuse!! Celio said he would keep us on his calendar and let us know when the job could start. This was not acceptable. No good company does work this way and treat their customer this way, just keep them hanging. So we decided to cancel the whole job with them. As customers, we have every right to ask for a reliable schedule and not be kept hanging. Once the schedule is provided, any good company would keep that commitment. If things happen such as bad weather, then contacting the customer in advance is absolutely a must!!! This is a very bad company. STAY AWAY FROM HIRING THEM!!!

They were great! The request went to Home Advisor, they called me within 15 mins, came to my house that evening to give me a quote. We accepted (best price around). Told home we needed it done quickly...ling story short. The job was done perfectly by the next afternoon. Highly recommend them!
