The team at Welks Lawn Care has been fantastic to work with—always friendly and eager to help. They handle everything for us from edging, fertilization, and weed control, to dethatching, aeration, and winterizing our sprinklers, all at a great price. We couldn’t be happier with their service!
live in a association that has contracted with Welk's Snow Removal (Lawn Care). This is their 2nd year of service to our association. VERY UNRELIABLE - it is hit/miss when they show up. And when they do, they only do the job half way as they only remove half the snow in my driveway. Other times they just skip it completely. I think they are short on equipment as well....as stated by one of their plow drivers. Last year they were trying to remove a 10 inch snow in our 40 unit association with a brush attachment on the front of a skid steer. It was painful to watch. I strongly urge residents to use caution before signing contract with these folks.
Welks did a good job on aerating and overseeding my lawn but communication as far as when they were going to be coming to do the work was lacking as well as communication on how to pay them for the work. I assume they've just had a really busy year and have had a hard time finding time to get back to folks.
I hired Welks for snow removal 12/7/21. After they damaged stone work on our house I asked them to discontinue services on 1/6/22. They acknowledged the discontinuation immediately. On 1/23/22 they continued doing snow removal, I then asked them a 2nd time to NOT do snow removal. They are to aggressive on how fast they drive and drop their blade. On 2/23/22 they still continued snow removal and damaged our landscaping and blew landscape rocks all over my yard. I then demanded they stop removing snow and all my services. On 3/30/22 they again attempted snow removal and have now severely damaged more landscaping, sod and my water main shut off (broke it off). This has now been turned over to my attorney to try and keep them off my property. Very bad company to hire. I have literally been trying to fire them since 1/23/22 and now this spring I will be attempting to fix everything they wrecked. I will never do business with them again or recommend them to anyone. I also had issues with mowing service and other damage from careless mower driving that ripped part of a deck railing off. I have everything on surveillance video as proof.
Very impressed by the professionalism of the Welk’s Team! Contracted them to remove 2 overgrown trees that were planted to close to my house and causing damage to the fascia. I was initially worried about the damage to the flower bed that removing them would cause although everything looks perfect and you’d have no idea they were even there. Would highly recommend!
Not sure quality of work as I did not receive any services, but feel my time was wasted. I inquired about getting an estimate for the lawn services I felt that I would maybe need. The initial conversation with Courtney was pleasant, however, somewhere along the line my initial inquiry was either misunderstood or not relayed. The estimate I received did not include all the services that I had inquired about and there was no mention of an on-site examination/recommendation of my lawn as was discussed in the initial conversation. It then took one week to get a response, which by this point, 2 weeks had been wasted without even getting a full estimate or advice as for how I should proceed with rejuvenating my lawn. The conversation ended with the Contractor replying "I think we will pass as it sounds like your timeline is not going to work for how busy we are right now." I guess it's my fault for not initially reaching out to other Contractors. I certainly understand a busy schedule, but I was not given the impression that an estimate would be so difficult and it would have been nice to have been informed if indeed the Contractor was too busy to provide services.
The Welks crew does an amazing job! They offer quality service, are always on time, and are super friendly. My yard has never been so green! I would highly recommend! Amazing service and care!
Welk's Lawncare provides great service to all their customers. They work extremely hard to make sure their customers have fabulous looking lawns & clear, safe sidewalks & driveways to walk on during winter months. Their fertilizer is great and makes the lawn beautiful, full, and green. I highly recommend this company for any lawn maintenance and snow removal!

Best lawn service in town
The quality of the lawn mowing was halfway decent probably 4/5 stars. However, one week right before it rained one of the workers left my sump pump hose along my houses pointed straight at my foundation. Needless to say, my basement flooded due to the storm right where the stump pump was pointed. I tried to reason with the company to try and get some compensation but every time I called the owner was still Thinking or too busy. It came clear to me that the owner was just stonewalling until I gave up. Felt it was a very shady way of doing business.
They burnt my grass n then tried to blame heat for the reason
The mowing crews are excellent in their designs.. it really shows how much pride they take in their work!

All the guys at Welk s seem to really enjoy, and put real pride in their work. They don t cut corners with their work and take the time to do the small things. Some of the best looking lawns I ve seen in FM!

The lawn was cut well. However, this company damaged our siding and was not easy to work with.
Eric and his workers are hard working and have transformed our thin dry lawn last year to a plush thick green lawn this year. We will definitely keep using Welks for our lawn care.
Had one of the Employees come look at my lawn they said to have the Fertilizer done for the year and that would make things half way throw the year I seen no difference at all talked to eather people that had welks fertilizer done and no one seen any difference I can show pictures if anyone would like to see then when I talked to them they werent nice about it at all
Eric and his team are awesome! I love coming home to a beautifully mowed and trimmed lawn. What they do so quickly and efficiently, saves me so much time!!
