I bit off more than I could chew pruning my own trees. The scale of debris I created was way too big for me to handle so I called MGR Trees. I dont like to leave bad reviews, but you wasted our time by scheduling an appointment you didnt show up to. I tried to get a quote for tree removal, Manny texted me to confirm address, he said Tomorrow after 5 so we cleared our evening plans and waited 5pm-9pm the next day and Manny never showed up, didnt respond to my request to reschedule, just ghosted us. If you didnt want to quote it, just be honest.

MGR gave me a fair price for removal and did it without removing the fence. The work was quick, the crew was efficient and professional. My back yard has never looked better after their clean up. I bought a new home and there were some very large overgrown trees blocking sun from getting to the patio, I also had some old stumps in the yard that needed grinding. I called MGR to get an estimate and Manny came out quickly and estimated the job, his price was fair so we proceeded with the work. I had not moved into the home yet so communication was key so everything could be coordinated. The entire team at MGR was awesome, they were on time, did the work we agreed on, and a little more, and they cleaned up the work site after. Great job by MGR and I would recommend.

Manny and crew cut down and hauled out a 30-40 dead tree in my backyard and ground the stump. Quick to respond and very easy to work with -- very professional throughout and great communication. They even spread some of the ground stump mix along bare spots along the fenceline -- their suggestion.. I didnt have to ask! This company and staff were absolutely, hands down one of the best company Ive ever used. Honesty, trust, price and dependable. They heard my needs for my trees, heard my vision for my front (raked and removed previous lava rocks, laid new rocks down with the weed protector) and even helped so my home wouldnt flood by adding a drain system. This company did a great job pruning 2 trees, ripping out 2 huge shrubs and removing a tree that was too close to our house. MGR Trees and More LLC removed some very large pieces of a cut up tree from last year for me. They cut the larger pieces down and hauled it all away and cleaned up the mess! We needed our gutters cleaned as we hadnt done it since we had moved in four years ago which unfortunately led to some flooding issues. With the recent rain, we could see our gutters were clogged. When I explained to Manny that she is an elderly woman in à wheelchair with caregivers coming and going, he rushed over himself and made sure to remove that part of the tree as quickly as he could to keep my neighbor safe. He worked with us on a fair price, and we feel happy with his service. He is extremely professional and personable. Thank you! UPDATE: After finally finishing my tree removal and having to be called back to haul away debris, Manny tried to tell me that he quoted me a different, higher price, which was definitely not the case. The communication throughout finishing this job was severely lacking, and I was often left wondering what was going on and when things were going to get done. Manny is very personable and takes criticism well, but I feel that the communication skills need to improve and a written quote definitely needs to be provided in the future. UPDATE: The reply you see posted from this business was also sent to me via text message after 10pm on September 23rd, 2021. Not only is the businesss reply not accurate, at the time they wrote the reply, they claim that I gave them a bad review after supposedly taunting and warning them I would, but the review I gave them was three stars, which is not actually a bad review. Its mediocre at best. On top of that, I did not erase my initial review and still said complimentary things about the company. Also, the only thing I said to them after waiting for over a month to have my stump taken care of was that they certainly wouldnt want a bad review. I have attached a picture of this for reference. Im going to reply to some of the things they said. I didnt say I dont want a physical copy. They just didnt provide one. Just like them, I took them at their word. I never decided not to go with stump grinding. I wanted stump grinding from the start. Obviously, this issue could have been alleviated with a written estimate. I did speak with them about creating shirts; however, I did not agree to have that amount subtracted from what I would pay. Not to mention, my written estimate for the merchandise was $384.13, not $200. They never actually replied to me to let me know whether or not they would be purchasing the merchandise. I gave them a check for $2,000 the day the tree was removed because thats how much I agreed to pay for tree removal. I have them a check for $200 the day he came to clean up his stump removal job because thats how much I agreed to pay for the stump removal. Once again, written invoices could resolve this. If they chose to becompassionate and not keep nagging about $200, then, even if I did owe the company $200, they chose not to pursue it. They say, we regret to inform that we will no longer be able to do any services for you. Haha. Okay. Most people who leave unfavorable reviews choose not to continue with a company. This was already my plan. They say, We now know (based on this experience) to make contracts for our clients and not exchange a service for another. They admit that they did not make a contract with me. Without a contract, how can they say what I supposedly owe them? Also, I never agreed to exchange my service for theirs. I agreed to do business for them, but I agreed that they would pay me and I would pay them. Like I said in my initial and follow-up review, Manny is very personable and was very nice to work with, but clearly the communication and professionalism are lacking. They may try to dispute this, but texting me after 10pm because I changed my review to three stars and demanding money that I never agreed to pay? That goes beyond unprofessional. I am still not going to give them less than two stars because, in the end-even though it took awhile-my tree was removed, and it was taken care of well.

Manny and his team, did an amazing job and getting rid of the giant in the middle of my yard. And did an amazing job with the clean up. Overall amazing service and amazing job.

Manny and his crew did an amazing job removing two large ash trees that were in a tough spot to remove. After the process they cleaned the work area very thoroughly, youre not able to tell there were two dangerous trees there just a week prior. Everyone at MGR was very courteous and professional, and I plan on using them for all my tree maintenance going forward.

Manny did great work! He and his colleagues are very efficient workers. We had trees trimmed and two removed as well as gutters cleaned. He also reset patio stones and put new interlocking sand and sealed the patio. Everything turned out fantastic! Even the cleanup after the work was done, I was impressed with. These guys were great! Very responsive when I first called. They were able to get out quickly give me an estimate which was very fair. They were able to fit me into their very busy schedule since the branches I needed cleared were very large and hanging dangerously overhead and near our home. They were on time and worked quickly and safely. I would highly recommend them and will have them back to do more work in the future!

Manny and his crew built a rock retaining wall around our berm adjacent to our patio. They did an amazing job in just a day and a half. Manny responded to our request for tree service the same day we called him. We had a good sized cracked branch from the derecho, that would hit the roof on the back of the house and the deck if it gave away. It was high and at an awkward angle. Because of windy days, he was able take the limb down today, the 4th time he came back. I think we called less than two weeks ago. We saw comments about MGR on the Nextdoor app.
