I think they might have the worst bookkeeping and communication in the metro. They tried to bill us despite having already previously paid via Venmo. This season they showed up for lawn care cleanup, despite having previously canceled their service via email which was requested to do so by them. Leave the leaves people, anyway, carry on.

And so, after about 8 years of frustration, I've given up trying to talk to the company, and I'll use my reputation to talk to you. They're marginal as a lawn service company - they got a DSM City contract, and are now fat, happy, and lazy. My lawn is trash. My fall cleanup was 2X the previous year's cost - with no prior notice. And I can't get them to consistently clean the driveway. When they do - it's by people who are unfamiliar with snow. Let that bit sink in - it is this company's business model. They didn't plow my drive today - 4" of wet snow. They were here early on the days that had a powdery 1". I don't need this kind of help. You don't either.

I am writing to let you know that yes, you did mow yesterday, but it was not cleaned up. Some blowing was done, but a large amount of grass was left in our gazebo and in our neighbors parking lot. This really is not acceptable. We have a great working relationship with Aldi and Unity Point and we would like to keep it that way. Grass left in their lot is not neighborly. We also had to ask several times to have our thistles sprayed. In the time between us asking to spray and it actually happening – the thistles bloomed and spread seeds. We were trying to keep that from happening. Overall, we are happy with your service, but we are no satisfied. Village Coop of WDM

Mark and his leaf removal team at Lawn Ranger are top notch! I called two days before our youth fundraiser asking if he could please help us out and although he was very busy he made it work. They did a fantastic job ; his crew were professional and exceeded our expectations. Mark and his team have been my lawn service company for years so I can honestly say whether it is keeping your yard weed free or leaf free, there is no one better than Lawn Ranger! Thank you Mark!

They have gathered my fallen leaves the last couple of years. I have a lot of oak leaves from a huge trees. They can be nasty for grass in the spring if not removed. They are prbly not the cheapest, but are not exorbitant either. Occasionally the workers do not exactly put things back they have moved to clear leaves. You also need to request that they remove leaves as late in the year as possible....there is a balancing act between too late & permanent snow fall....this year is a great example. It snowed on 11/10 and there are still tons of leaves that haven’t fallen. So hopefully it will melt soon & they can do my yard & neighbors as well. Update: WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES! In 2019 their prices unknowingly increased by around 75%. Too long a story to go into, but suffice it to say, I & several neighbors will NOT b using them again. They didn’t inform us of increase....found out when we got our bills about 6 weeks later. We complained & finally got about $50 taken off. Owner was hard to reach & several messages & emails had to be left. Too bad. Clearly unethical practices currently going on & clearly they don’t care about repeat leaf removal business. A company must inform you of an increase BEFORE they do the work!

Paid to have them mow and trim lawn, but they were more worried about how fast they did the job rather than how good the job was done. They didn't use the weed trimmer hardly at all...looked terrible. Left the grass to grow up around A/C unit and nearly ruined it. The billing would charge the correct amount some months and then overcharge us other months for the same work. They are sloppy, dishonest and terrible...and we had to prove to them the billing mistakes and waste our time to pay the correct amount. They took advantage of our 83 year old mother and took her money. Beware this crooked lawn care business.

I was very, very impressed with the whole team's professionalism and quality of work. The owner was honest and forthright, the price was reasonable , and their timeline was fantastic. A+, would use again. In preparation for getting our house market ready, they provided spring cleanup/lawn prep and landscaping work. The major job was removal of a giant stump, removing dead and random bushes, rebuilding a retaining wall, and laying sod. They also did a leaf/debris clean up, aerated the lawn, seeded dead areas, laid mulch, and removed the unslightly unsightly remnants of volunteer tree that had grown around a fence (as well as removing the rest of the useless fence).

They did leaf removal on our yard today and did an amazing job. They were professional and very helpful, even blew leaves out of my garage when I drove in! They also handle our weed control/seeding and aeration. Would highly recommend them to anyone interested in their services.
