They did our new house (2024) and were great to work with. They had excellent ideas for what was important to us, from plant type to hardscaping. And, importantly, they don't put in cheap pieces for things like water management that will become an issue in the future. We've already recommended them and hired them for a second project.
I highly recommend Solid Rock Landscaping. They responded when I called (!), came to the house when they said they'd come (!), stayed in close communication (!), AND did a great job! It's like a miracle to find all of this in one company these days. Not only has my home's curb appeal just improved 200%, but Chris even texted me following job completion to advise me to cover my new plants when the temperature was expected to drop down to freezing overnight. Solid Rock has truly been a blessing.
Just, WOW! These guys worked with us to set up a plan for our landscaping and stepping stones AND landscape lighting and were very flexible with changes we decided on. They are very knowledgable about the best types of plants for our soul and light and do not try to ovesell! The work came out beautifully at a cost that was much less than other companies we tried. Chris and Jon are the owners and are readily available to answer questions. They did not buy just the cheapest or smallest plants; they look nice right from the start. Solid Rock has completed two projects for us. A large outdoor patio with a gas fire pit, complete with landscaping and rock and wall work. Very professional crew. Hired them again for a custom stone drive way to my shop. A++.

From the very first contact made with Chris, through a detailed process of landscape need assessment, through an extensive project completion, this has been the best experience that we have ever had with a company! We appreciated the experienced and knowledgeable communication that Chris and Jon provided for us throughout the entire project. If a change was needed, they made sure that they had our approval first and communicated what was needed and why. Each day before leaving, workers cleaned up making sure the equipment was out of the way, and the work in progress was cleaned up as much as possible. That was much appreciated! The guys at Solid Rock Landscaping are absolutely first in class. Not only did they design and install a beautiful walkway and retaining walls, but they were so, so easy to work with from start to finish. They are very responsive, made extremely helpful and practical suggestions along the way to improve on my vision, and always kept their word and followed through. I recommend them without hesitation.

We couldnt have had a better experience with Solid Rock Landscaping. We knew from the beginning, they were going to do the job right the first time.They listened to our needs and were very attentive and patient through several iterations of the design for our paver patio. When the time came for install, we were very impressed with the crew. They were courteous and treated our yard like it was their own property. Chris, one of SRL owners was on site several times over the course of the 1.5 weeks to check on the progress and to keep us up to speed on what was happening. He was also very helpful dialing in our irrigation layout with all the changes in the backyard. Happy to recommend them as they are a class act!
I had a major water runoff problem in my backyard and needed someone who understood how to redirect water away from my house and over to my side yard where it could dissipate. The project was huge and involved rock walls, contouring, and tile. Soilid Rock did a wonderful job of solving my water runoff problem and creating a long term attractive solution to this issue. They were hard working and stuck to the estimate. I had them come back and rework my landscaping in front, where they really focused on sloping the ground away from my foundation and also capturing water and burying downspouts to get roof runoff far away from my foundation. I have a couple more sides to do, and will have them back to do them also!!
We added 8 trees and 5 beds in late Fall and Team Solid Rock (Jon, Chris, & crew) did an amazing job from design to install! They worked with us on several design options and were flexible enough to allow us to do some of the labor on our own. Both the quality and size of their tree selection exceeded my expectations and we re looking forward to enjoying them this spring.

We couldnt have had a better landscaping company come out and do our 90 foot boulder retaining wall. They are fast, skilled and efficient workers. The estimate was 1200 dollars less expected,most companies, wouldnt be that honest . Defiantly would do business and recommend there service Thanks John & Chris
The guys from Solid Rock Landscape did an very good and professional job on our patio, raised garden beds and walkway with stairs. Due to changes in elevation this could have been a challenge, but they made it all work with the ground and house. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I would and have recommended Solid Rock to my friends and coworkers. I have had them revamp my water drainage for my property and had them re landscape my from yard. They were very easy to work with and economical. They were able to relocate existing plants to save cost and provided very helpful advise for other lawn issues I was having. For both irrigation and landscaping, Solid Rock does an impeccable job. They turned our boring new construction landscaping into something that we can enjoy. Rock beds with plants around the sides of the house and perfectly aligned patio pavers that fit the yard appropriately, which now provides us with a space to enjoy as a lounge area outside.
