Jack did a great job communicating with me and making sure our project turned out exactly how we wanted it to. His crew did a wonderful job in a great timeframe! I would absolutely use them again.

I scheduled a service. Couple of areas of my lawn have pool of water and are sinking down from the rest of it. Their technician was 3 hours late. Nobody answered phone calls or emails in timely manner. My wife had to stay there waiting for 2 hours. they returned email 2 hours later saying their technician will be late for about another 30 minutes. The technician did not seem to have any ideas what was wrong with my sprinkler system, saying my neighbors sprinkler system was watering our grass which was why we were having pool of water in our lawn. My neighbor waters his lawn in the morning, but i have never seen any of his sprinklers watering our grass, though i wish he would do that to save some of my water bill. They sent me a bill. When i questioned their work, they said nothing was wrong with our sprinkler system. Now I am waiting for someone else to check on it.

The sidewalk needed a redo to level it out, it looks great!

They damage the yard. Also very hard to communicate to crew. Yard has bare spots from damage. CANNOT recommend them.

Working with Jack and his company has been amazing. The installation of my project was completed on time and at the agreed upon price. With Iowa weather/winters a few issues came up after a few seasons and Jack responded by fixing the issues or addressing concerns in a timely manner. Most contractors would let the follow up items or additional concerns go, not Jack! Jack and team worked hard to help my project stay in great shape and fix anything that had come up. Great experience working with Jack and his team on a landscaping project. Jack was professional throughout from quote to completion, and he ensured final touch ups were completed timely and without any prompting from us. And his crew was top notch got in, worked hard to get it done thoroughly, and minimized any ancillary disruption to lawn.

Jack and his crew did a highly professional job tearing out our old landscaping and cement patio and putting in new paving stones, edging and sod. They show up on time and stay with it until the job is completed to customer satisfaction. The crew cleans the entire work area meticulously each day. We hired Jack and his team to level out and install a patio for us last fall. We had always been so discouraged by our yard because it was a large drainage ditch with no level ground. I discussed with him that I wanted a flagstone look and he suggested a type of stone that looks like flagstone but is much more durable! It came out absolutely beautiful! We loved it so much that we hired him again this spring to add in additional lower level to complete it and connect it to our deck. It s been so durable, we even got a hot tub and it has held up great on it. After they installed, my husband and I planted trees around it to finish the look. We are absolutely in love with our new space!! They do quality work in a timely manner and are extremely professional. They even use plywood to put down over the grass so when they drive the bob cat and other tools back they do not tear up the yard. I would recommend them to everyone!! We already even discussed a 3rd add on to replace the deck in the future. It looks so beautiful and we will cherish this space to be with our family and enjoy the outdoors for years to come!

We hired Jack simply based on reviews, and he did not disappoint! Every email he responded quickly. Every change he accommodated. He kept things very clean and tidy during the whole landscaping project. Spring came and a few trees did not make it through winter. I emailed him just for a heads up and he came out THE SAME DAY and replaced them! We will definitely be using JK again and highly recommend him to everyone!

BEWARE !!! I had JK Services perform work back in March 2018. The work was par with services requested. However, a tree that was planted was sub-par. I contact Jack on 5/20/2018 letting him know the tree was not doing well. His reply was The Japanese maple is a really sensitive tree, and takes a while to get going in the spring ...Water it 2-3 times per week and it should be fine. I contacted Jack on 4/27/2019 letting him know the tree was not looking any better and if fact was worse even after all the rain we had received. Jack told me to purchase some fertilizer to try and shock the tree into growth. It had leaves on the part of the tree that had leaves back in March but no where else. I sent him pictures of the tree and how pathetic it looked in May 2018 compared to now. So I purchased the recommended fertilizer and placed around the tree and watered it regularly, when Mother Nature did not provide water. I contacted Jack on 5/14/2019 letting him know that the tree was not recovering and in fact was getting worse. I was then informed that since the tree was past the one year warranty , he would not be able to do anything to replace it. He would be happy to sell me another tree. WHAT? I let him know less than 2 months after the tree was planted and he advised I wait and try things. I followed his advice and now since it is after the one year of planting , he won t stand behind his tree. If you have an issue with a plant/tree, hound him daily BEFORE ONE YEAR. I am very happy with the service performed at the time of service. Jack was very good to work with and followed through. However, when it came to standing behind his landscaping, he lacked the credibility and honor required to be considered quality. 06/02/20 reply I ll just state that you were contacted way before the one year warranty expired. You put off with tactics that eventually put it outside the warranty when I stated I wanted the tree replaced. Obviously, I misunderstood the timing of initial contact to asking for replacement. Guess I had higher expectations.

I had Jack replace my mulch beds with river rock. He showed up when he said he would, he did what we agreed on, and the price he quoted was the price I paid. The quality of work is fantastic. Jack is honest and trustworthy which is not all that common nowadays.

I spoke to many landscaping companies. JK Services was by far the fastest not only to come out for a free estimate, but I also received that estimate the same day. Even though our project was probably one of his smaller ones, he made us feel as if ours was the most important. He listened to what I wanted, made suggestions (much better ideas than mine) and made our yard that had been torn up from new garage construction into something beautiful and maintenance free! River rock, weed barriers, stone edging and natural stepping stones made our plain back yard into something special....while staying within my budget. We enjoy the view from our screened porch everyday.
