Salinas Lawn & Power in West Chicago

Tried this company for the first time this past spring, and have been very disappointed. Sloppy mowing, slopping dying, and billed me more than once without coming. Will not be renewing annual service next year.

Very impressed with communication and the work done was awesome. Mowed edged, weed wacked! Every thing looked amazing! Trimmed and shaped 4 large evergreen bushes! Professionally done. Lawn mowing prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company!!

I am very pleased with Salinas Lawn & Power. I heard from a friend that they Aerated and over seeded her lawn, so I asked for their information. I had many bushes around my property that had grown out of control. The Salinas team removed it all and cleaned up afterwards. It took two days and it wasnt cheap, but it was a LOT of work. I had a chance to chat with Lupe, the owner, and hes a nice guy. I would definitely use his company again.

Not many are willing to do a last minute one time job. They were able to do the job in my time frame for a great price with great communication and easy payment.

My first visit with Salinas was horrible. Crew didnt cut my lawn properly. I have to point out area that they forgot to trim properly. I wrote email and inform them to cancel my all future service and not interested with Salinas service. I received email from them that they schedule next service. Looks like they dont check email and phone call. It is very difficult to talk to them. I tried to call them so many time and they never call me back. I told them to remove my wallet information from their site but didnt deleted.

I have used Salinas for several years and until this year been happy. I ve had an ongoing issue since April that I was promised repeatedly would be resolved. Unfortunately it has not. I cancelled my service last week and asked for confirmation of receipt and have not heard a single word. I have since a left message on the client hub and a voicemail and apparently I ve been ghosted. I do not recommend this business.

They did a great job with each service. They were punctual and promtply answered any questions I had.

We had an extensive spring cleanup, which included brush removal, edging and mulching. Lupe was very easy to work with and very responsive. I really appreciated his online reminder system. His crew worked on our property for three days and they always showed up on time and were very thorough. We had a little extra work that needed to be addressed three weeks after he was paid and he came out to fix it. I would highly recommend them.

The Salinas team provides weekly mowing services at our residence. They do a great job of mowing on time and ensuring proper height is cut so the lawn doesn t burn in extreme heat and droughts. Highly recommend them.

So Quick! I contacted 4 companies and Salinas was the first and ONLY company to respond. I contacted them about 4 days ago and service was completed May 4th. I recommend this company.

Second time we have used Salinas for a spring clean up and laying mulch. They did a great job. They have great communication skills using email and texting letting you know the estimate and scheduling of services.

We were looking for a denser core aeration (more plugs, bigger plugs) and got that from Salinas. Guadalupe, the owner, offered us a 10% discount when booking the job, greeted us personally the day of the job, explained the different capabilities of his different machines (stand on vs. walk behind), had his tech make a double pass in our fenced-in backyard (gates too narrow for the stand-on machine), and inspected the job when done. Well be scheduling another aeration in the fall and highly recommend Salinas for core aeration.

Its hard enough these days as a new customer to find a lawn care service but on top of that, Salinas did the quote for my property on a Friday and had it cleaned up, mowed, and trimmed by Tuesday. The yard was in bad shape as it was unattended for a while after my mother passed away but they took care of all of it and will be back next week to make it look even nicer. Just moved to the area and was looking for a company for a fall clean up for our new yard. Salinas was super reaponsive and came out for an estimate right away. They were super professional and affordable for all the work they did. Would highly recommend them! Having them come back for leave clean up and will definitely be using in the spring and for many years to come!

Tried calling a few times and never got an answer. Went to there website filled out form for estimate and received quote in 24 hours. Had a few questions tried calling again no answer. Sent another email asking a few questions and asking them to call me and never heard back from them. Finally called another landscaper and he answered first call and will be out in 2 days. I guess there service is for the younger people who are afraid to talk on the phone.

I found Salinas from local Facebook Group and decided to give them a try. They have very responsive FB Messenger service. They take their business very seriously and their rates are competitive. Best thing about them , they were so accommodative in rescheduling my Aeration and Overseeding Project that I had to do several times due to bad weather. They rescheduled every time I asked them for. Finally coming to their service, they were on time, understood my requirement and did a fab job aerating and overseeding. I will definitely use them again in future.

So far I have had service for a full month 1 time per week. They show up on the right day and do a terrific job on our lawn. The set up for bill pay is also very easy. Very fast in getting back to me with estimate. The work was scheduled sooner than I would have expected. Lupe stopped aerating my back yard at one point and said the ground was too hard and he would come back in two days when he could do it properly. Thats honesty you dont see these days.
