A lot of big jobs this summer...mulching, hedge maintenance, and tree care. JHL took care of it all. Great crew, communication, and results. Will continue to use them for our landscaping needs!

Such a relief to deal with a professional contractor for a change. After meeting with their salesman I received a thorough estimate with everything described in detail as well as computerized simulations to show the proposed plan. The crew was on time and finished the project on schedule and on budget. Their level of professionalism made my decision to use them easy as well as my confidence they will be around for years to come to stand behind there work. Looking forward to having them install a patio next.

I interviewed 2 other firms to address a water problem around my house foundation, and was very glad I chose JHL. They were knowledgeable, professional and very helpful with NO upsell. I found some other issues while they were there, and they were able to address that at the same time, which was a big plus to me: getting the total job done right. Friendly staff in office that are easy to work with. Very polite and accommodating on the phone. They did excellent fence work for us, and cleaned up nicely afterwards. All of their workers are knowledgeable and professional. Definitely recommend and will use them again!

Rob and the team did an amazing job. The landscaping at the house needed a big update and Rob came out and listened to my requests and concerns, designed and installed the new landscaping. The team were great, not pushy and understood my budget and we worked within it. I already recommended them to a neighbor and they had work done too! I will certainly have them back out to help with other areas of the landscaping!

We had a fairly complex problem with water that we wanted to solve with creative landscaping and JHL provided a creative, beautiful and functional solution. We use JHL as our landscaper and they are wonderful. So we now enlisted them to do a patio and fireplace for us. I cannot rave about them more!! Every day they showed up early and work until late. They worked so hard! They really paid attention to detail and went above and beyond. I highly recommend them!

Mixed bag--these guys did some very nice work trimming our 5 maple trees and removing a large spruce next to our house, but made the decision to install a pop up drain on the side of our home in such a way that a significant amount of water sat in the drain and any discharge soaked the surrounding grass so much that it was constantly muddy. Drew suggested that JHL correct the issue by running a PVC drain line further to the end of the yard for an additional fee and scheduled the work promptly, but promised to stop by at the start and finish of the job to collect the check. We never saw him--he sent another employee to collect payment and we were disappointed he didnt keep his promise to stop by at the end. Moreover, we understood that the check we would give him on the day of the drain job would be our final payment, but then were forced to pay an additional fee for the total tree/drain jobs. Communication between the office, sales staff, and Drew needs to be more consistent. I spent too much time going back and forth figuring out what we owed and sending multiple checks.

We had JHL remove underground tree roots from our yard, install a bluestone walkway from our driveway to our front porch, add bluestone to our front porch and also add plants to a house we just bought. We were under a deadline before a memorial day party and they brought out two crews and had everything done in time. The end work is impressive and we would recommend JHL to anyone.

JHL does a great job, year round for us. We use them for both our house and our office. They have done beautiful work on our gardens out front of our house, they are always on time and do a great job with our lawn cuts at our office and they are amazing when it comes to snow removal at our business. They keep you in the loop with what the weather is supposed to be and they allow you not to worry about the weather when it comes to your business. The driveway is salted, plowed and shoveled before we even get in and our earliest employee gets in at 5:30am. Definitely recommend for all services!!

Great Service!!!!

Our rose bushes were planted in the wrong spot (in shade) and have since died. We were told they would be replanted in the correct spot but no one has come to do this in over 2 months. Wish we could have had this fixed because the bushes are unfortunately not coming back no matter how much we water them. They are also squished next to 2 bushes that were suppose to be removed according to our plan. We were scheduled for top soil and no one has come for this service either causing us to cancel. Overall we were hoping for a better experience.
