They had my mower for 2 months then returned but did not run properly. After many calls and messages they agreed to pick up and repair. That was in December and I haven’t heard from them. So now I’m out $750.00 and they have my mower! An update from my previous post. My mower has been picked up by a friend and he reports it seems to be in working order. I am out of town and will update this when I return.
I have spoken to someone twice when they were completing lawn service to my neighbors house. Both times was promised a phone call. Called 4 times and spoke to a female twice (same female both times) was promised a phone call back immediately (today being the last time I spoke with her) and have yet to get a reply. If your company does not want to take on another house, if they’re too busy, or for whatever reason as a professional business you should have the decency to at least return a phone call. They can offer the cheapest price and I still would not choose them because of their lack of professionalism. If you can’t even be bothered to return a phone call to somebody what kind of services do you offer on a regular basis?
Yesterday afternoon (7-17) I brought in a RYOBI battery operated lawn trimmer (about 4 months old) with significant trimming string wrapped around the axis of the trimmer where I had not been able to get it loose. The wrapped string kept the trimmer from operating at a rotational velocity inadequate to work properly. A young woman looked at it with me and told me they would have it ready today. i called and went back this afternoon and picked it up. They removed the string and didn't charge me. I offered at least twice to pay but wasn't charged. They've done excellent lawn mower annual service for me since the early 1990s, almost every year. i think i'll go back next time!! Wouldn't you? I visited Turf Care today July 16, 2020 at 12:30 pm to have them take a look at my weed eater. I was greeted by a tall slender man who was very pleasant, and then a woman approach me to explain the $35 diagnostic fee! She gave me a card, with the amount written on the back. I requested a receipt, I was told it would take about 5 minutes. When i questioned her again about the receipt , she told me if i would stop talking she would explain. She was very nasty and unprofessional, so i requested my money back and left the store. I will never set foot back in that business again! If i can't find a dealer in Cincinnat I would rather throw it away before i would ever give them my business.
After 12 yrs of living nearby and driving past Turf Care, I finally brought my sickly lawnmower over to get some TLC. Quickly, the owner's daughter came out to help me unload the mower. Another worker behind the counter, gave an reasonable estimate of the tune up and a new Gator blade. next day they called when it is done. Very reasonable charge of 60 some for cleaning out the clogged carburetor, oil change, new sparkplug and about 30 for putting on the new Gator blade . Highly recommended. Friendly. Quick service. Family own we shop. Fair price to boost. Will bring my mower back next year for a quick tune up
Thank you Turf Care for the great service and care you gave us today when we stopped by looking for a new mower. The gentlemen who helped us was very knowledgeable about the Toro Super Recycler. We look forward to coming back to have our new mower serviced and blades sharpened when it comes time.
Very helpful place and professional. ordered my parts with the quickest turn around ordered Monday in on Wednesday. Other places a week or two that is even if they wanted to order them . I called 4 or 5 places. I live on the west side of town .dons Hobbie shop quoted me two weeks on the parts i needed . Turf Care is worth the drive. Very competitive on price
Great customer service. We have used Turf Care to repair our equipment quite a few times. Always dependable and knowledgeable. The turn around time to get us back up and running is great. I highly recommend this company and Ed to anyone who is in need of small engine repairs.

I had turf care pick my mower up 4 months ago I had to call them6 weeks later to find out what was wrong.they said it would be 1200.00 to fix it.I said no just bring it back here it is 5 months later and several phone calls and have heard nothing.I even talked to one of there mowing crews and he said he would have them call me still no call.I am about ready to file a police report.for a stolen mower .Now I do not write a bad review because everyone deserves a chance to make things right.But in there case I am starting to think they used my mower for parts.It is a shame I have bought parts from them and really liked them.My advice at this point is do not trust them.
Took mower in for blade sharpening and air filter. Service done the same day and price was great. Great service and friendly staff helped take mower out and in car. Will use again and highly recommend

The owner has made a 100% false claim saying I have an outstanding balance. I have no reason to bash a small business but I have called 7 or 8 times to talk to him about his claim. I was a small business owner and I cant understand people that wont return calls. If he says I owe, you would think he would take my call
We have taken both our lawnmower and snow blower here and they have done an awesome job at a very reasonable price. The service has been very quick job too.
Called them up asked about my broken chipper. They came out and picked it up fixed it and they were very reasonable on price and pick up charge. Since then I have given them my lawn service. Excellent service and people.
Serviced my string trimmer quickly. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will go here again for all such services.
Amazing service. I couldnt replace the blade on my mower because of a stuck bolt, they were able to get it off very quickly at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
Watch out, you will get charged for things you didn t want. Be specific with communication because this Business isn t truthful. This place might be good if you have an unlimited checkbook to spend as much as they want.
Our youngest daughter could never even step outside without layers of insect repellant or she would have mosquito bites within a minute. I hated having to put it on her every day in the summer months. This is the first year she has been able to go out into the yard without fear!!! I feel so blessed to have the mosquito application.
I ordered several parts of which 1 male wash out port & 2 female wash out ends to connect to the hose for 2 Toro Timemasters I have...I m currently going on week 3 because I have to now go back to the store because they keep ordering the wrong parts and I have to then wait for new parts to come in! Of the parts I ordered after they left a vmail saying everything was there what do I find when I get home...a bolt missing, another too large and again the wrong male end wash out port!!! This trip will be my 3rd or 4th for this issue and I ve lost all confidence in this place!
They fixed my mower, it did not cost a fortune and they had it back to me super fast. What else is there!!! Staff were all so nice, I dealt with Brian, but everyone on the phone was also great. I couldnt be happier. They are stuck with me forever!

Dont trust this place to tell you the truth on what it cost for repairs are. I asked them to tell me what is wrong and after i said dont fix it i will pick it up they didnt put it back together unless i pay them more money. They will take advantage of you so go somewhere else. I brought them a omplete chainsaw and this is what i get back unless i pay them more money.

Took my snow blower in for minor repairs, primer pump and spark plug. Was told I needed new carburetor, waited for that,then they said I needed a new ignition switch, still waiting for that. Almost 2 weeks. God knows what theyll tell me next . Not happy with service. Buyer beware.
Wish I could be more generous. Hauled my perfectly fine tractor in for a tuneup. Waited nearly a month ( for a belt), charged $200, and now my tractor doesnt run. Called them back, and they offered to come get it...for another $50. Be very, very wary
We have used Turf Care for over eight (8) years and I cant say enough good things about the company. It is such a pleasure to come home and see the lawn freshly mowed, edged and looking great. Using Turf Care has freed up my time so I no longer worry about rushing home to cut the grass before it rains, dreading going home knowing the lawn needs to be mowed, or waking up on the weekend and being tied to the lawn for a few hours to cut the grass, trim along the sidewalk and driveway or to fertilize the grass.
