The Sodfather in West Babylon

Had sod father block my driveway in north Babylon while he was doing job across street,asked them to pick up garbage they put in my leaf pail that i threw out of my leaf pail ,and they wanted to fight. They also threw debrees at another neighbor driveway,that neighbor asked them to remove and sod farmer called them out to fight .this guy is a nut job!!!!!

Mario and his team were great! I would def recommend for sprinkler installation and sod placement. He exceeded our expectations and was polite, professional,and timely. Great job!

I used Mario to replace my entire lawn both front and back with new sod. Our lawn looked beautiful after the installation, great job, no complaints, which was right before last winter. Since he installed the new sod, he said he could treat the grass with chemicals as well. No problem, we decided to use him. So my reason for the one star is whatever chemicals he uses, is worthless. Weeds started growing when the spring season came, as well as other different grass. I also told him I needed a couple of additional sprinkler heads to get an area of grass in my backyard that was not getting water. He never showed up. The other reason for the one star is his lack of responsiveness when reaching out to him. He says he will show up and doesn’t. Tells you I’ll be there this week and doesn’t show up. His communication skills are lack luster to say the least. I waited and waited and he never showed. He didn’t even have the decency as a businessman to contact me and let me know he couldn’t make it. So when he shows up to treat my lawn for the final treatment and I ask him why he didn’t show up or get back to me, he simply said I was busy lol. If you use him to put new sod, great, just beware he’s a terrible communicator and takes quite a long time to get back to you, if he even does.

My wife and I recently had a pool and pavers installed in our backyard. The last step was to get sod and sprinklers. Mario and his team did an amazing job. They got the job done fast and exceeded our expectations. I would recommend the sodfather to everyone!

i updated my review to a zero because the owner texted me all last night harassing me , updating his response to my review with pure lies. I do not waste my time writing reviews unless the service was absolute great or absolute horrible to help people. His response that I did not want to pay for his service is a lie. There are many nice people in the world,this is not one of them. Do your homework before hiring!! This post will not let me put a zero, but I am reviewing a zero.

Mario "The Sodfather" is 100% the real deal. Was able to swing by and give a quote for the job real quick and laid the lawn few days later. Was the most responsive out of all the services i called and a complete pleasure to work with. Most importantly, the lawn looks great. Will 100% use him again.

I recently ordered seeds from Sodfather. My grass had multiple bald spots and I can already see results in and it has only been 1 week. This is great quality!! I will definitely be ordering from them again. Fast delivery and their service was exceptional.
