ALCS Lawn Care in West Allis

This was our first full year using ALCS Lawn Care and oh my what a difference it has made on our lawn! We had many patchy spots and weed growth. After using their service, we saw significant growth, less weeds and a lush, green grass! Will be using them again next year.

I reviewed ALCS after our service last year and want to do it again as we have continued to have great service. I spoke to the technician this year as he was doing our aeration & overseed service about some concerns with a few areas in our lawn. He suggested extra watering for the overseed and indicated he would use extra seed in the areas that had some of the lawn fungus. Appreciated the time he took with me to explain it all. The results from the overseeding were already seen so looking for even better results in the spring.

This was our first year using ALCS and we were not disappointed! Communication was wonderful and the online payment portal was super convenient! Also loved the emailed reports after every service. I would recommend them to anyone! Looking forward to next season!!!

I engaged your service for the first time this fall to aerate the lawn. The technician brought to my attention that the lawn had grubs. She provided a detailed explanation of why and the course of action to take. Treatment to get rid of the infestation was applied two days later. The lawn was over seeded and is coming in nicely. Looking forward to having you service my yard in 2025 and beyond.

I havent had my lawn treated in 3 years, until this summer. I had unfortunately already missed the pre-emergent weed control for the year, so had some expected weeds. The treatments have really seemed to help, as places where there were thinning or bald patches have come back together for the most part. This year, crabgrass was out of control. Hopefully with continued treatments and pre-emergent, it will look even better next year. In addition to the treatments, I had the aeration and over seeding done, then a few weeks later, I power raked (dethatched) the lawn too. That filled 6 paper yard waste bags with dead/dry grass. I have also been doing micro-nutrient treatments of my own, which are organic and can be used with anything. Id like to see a fungicide treatment option, as I want to take away as much negatives from the lawn as possible. I think I had the grub/lawn insect treatment done too. My grass could be greener, but I only water directly after treatments, and otherwise rely on rain. Watering with sprinklers that you have to move around is irritating, time consuming, and not efficient in my opinion. Otherwise the staff has been pleasant and have answered my questions or addressed any requests for spot treatments in a timely fashion.

My lawn has never looked better! For years, I tried doing my own lawn care by seeding watering and seeding again and again. Only to find out we had grubs and nothing was going to work. I called ALCS. They immediately diagnosed the problem and went to work on eliminating the grubs, reseeded, and aerated. Now the lawn looks terrific. I have to say it s the best looking lawn in the neighborhood. I used these guys for a few years with no issue. But be aware they auto renew your services without permission. They provided a service I did not authorize for a property I no longer own, and I was required to pay for it. I will not be using them for any of my lawn care needs in the future.

This particular company is such a great customer customer service company. They listen to your what your needs are and they fill what your needs are. I highly recommend anybody who has a home or a condo or a townhome that has grass or lawn to use this company they are very, very, very decent people and most importantly their customer service is impeccable in this day and by email texting and current technology.

The office is very responsive to any questions and the same for the technician applying the treatments.

As a second season customer this season, Aaron was quick to respond to questions I had about my application. Keep up the good work. Added my height gage to my tool board for easy access.

A month after ALCS asked their customers to post reviews in order to win a free year of service, they tried to jack up the prices of services over 35%!!! When I asked about it, they gave me the usual nonsense you get during a bait and switch. Terrible that they treated a longtime customer like this. I left ALCS for Naturescape and am not looking back!

I always get a phone call about scheduled services. They do a good quality of job. With younger kids its important to know when service are done to keep kids off the ground for 24 hours. So, I appreciate their courtesy call.

Great job on grass fertilization and weed control applications. Aeration & over seeding has been excellent.

ALCS helped turn our yard around after the initial landscaping from our new-build failed to come in well and was overtaken by weeds. After a year of treatments, aeration, and overseeding, our yard is no longer an eyesore, and a much more enjoyable spot for our kid and dog to run around in.

Have used for several years for lawn mowing, spring/fall cleanup, and planting. Reliable and responsive to any questions or concerns unlike my prior service. Will continue to use in the future.

This was the worst ever!! first of all ken the salesman would keep adding things. like delivery charges onto a already signed contract. they killed every Hosta I had. Most had been there 30 years! this is by far the worse company if I have had to deal with nothing but lies!

This home grown company has been the caretaker of my lawn for years. The service crew is outstanding and knowledgeable of my lawn needs. I am pleased with how they have nurtured and maintained my grass.

I have used ALCS several times on 2 properties over the past 5+ years. They have done complete beds re-do for me with mulching, pulling out things, digging new bed-edges, etc. They have taken care of my lawn with aeration and their 5-part program. Every single time I have had an excellent experience AND my lawn is currently one of the best (if not the best) in my neighborhood. AND the lawn started with being 60% weeds and patchy from the previous owner. Bottomline is - I would highly recommend them for any lawn/yard service. I think their pricing is fair and competitive to anything out there, but their service and staff definitely score higher marks for me than other services I had worked with in the past!

Scott our applicator went above and beyond to service our back yard. Our back yard is fenced in the gate to narrow to accommodate his riding applicator. He found a way to navigate around the fence to insure proper coverage of our back yard. He also answered a few questions we had about our lawn much to our satisfaction. I have been very happy with my lawn service. My grass looks great! ALCS always notifies us in advance when they are coming to spray our lawn and they leave helpful tips such as if we need to water our grass more or adjust the height of our lawn mower. I always get notice a day before a technician is coming. This was my first year doing mosquito spray and I saw a HUGE difference in the number of bugs this summer! Will definitely be doing this again next summer!

The online billing and account are very easy to access. You can choose to receive advance notice of when they will be coming for a lawn application. I have had my grass done before from a frw different companies but man o man my grass has never looked as good as it does with ALCS. I am so very happy with how my bald grass spots have filled in and how much thicker and greener it looked this summer. I highly recommend them.

ACLS This was our first year using ACLS. Our lawn needed help. It looks so much better and hopefully with their help this year it will really be in good shape! They always responded to my calls and took care of any concern and explained why things were done like they were. I plan to renew my contract.

ALCS Landscape is great. I had them do a small landscaping job on my yard and it turned out great. The crew was quick and efficient and communication about when it would be completed was great. Done for a great price too. I have them come every year as well for the fertilization program and my lawn is always weed free.

We just started using ALCS this year, and thus far I have been impressed. Yesterday I asked the tech, Scott, some questions about our lawn situation. He was very friendly & knowledgeable. He said he would follow up with me on some estimates for additional services, and he was true to his word. I received a quote from their office by this morning. I talked to Tess with some follow-up questions, and she also was very friendly and on top of her game!

In May of 2022, I was quoted $375 to remove a small planter in my front yard (rental house) that was lined with a circle of stones (about 3 levels). The dirt/plants were raised about a foot above the grass line. I needed the planter and dirt removed to prepare for a small pine tree stump removal that was in the middle of the planter. This was all discussed with ACLS. Initial thoughts was that $375 was a fair price. ACLS did the work and notified me so I got the Stump Removal company over a few days after. I got a call from the stump company that there was a huge mound of dirt around the pine tree. I told them to just proceed with the work and id deal with that after. It turns out, after confirming with my tenants and the stump removal company, that ACLS only came over to remove the circle of stones around the planter. Did not remove any of dirt or plants inside (my tenants actually re-planted all the plants inside the planter after ACLS left that day). Now ACLS is quoting me $250 to clean up the huge pile of dirt left over after the stump removal - which is huge because they did not do the job in the first place. Playing devils advocate against my own opinion, they may not have been able to completely remove the planter due to the tree roots? Maybe the reason for the half-job? Probably enough to have them reduce the price? I attempted to reason with them on a fair price, but they would not budge on the cost of the original $375 where they literally just came over to remove some stones (something that would have taken me an hour with my pickup truck to do myself). As a comparison, I had that same stump removal company remove a similar stump in back yard. I was able to clean up the debris in about 30 minutes. The pile of dirt in my front yard would likely take me a few days. Management team is unreasonable; probably not the best company to work with if you have another option. $375 lost isnt the end of the world, but if I can save a few people from a similar situation that is worth the 10 minutes this review took. Based on the ALCS Response Below: They are trying to deflect my frustrations to the stump removal company and/or the second $250 quote they gave me to clean up. Clearly, frustrated with them doing about 25% of the quoted work (for $375) which created the huge mess following stump grinding. Normal companies would admit this and work it out with clients.

Were also very satisfied and happy customers! Starting with the sales person Ted and his assessment, to Sarah, Matt and the crew who all worked magic in our very disheveled yard. We had mud tire tracks, cement piles and what was left of a weed filled lawn. They cleaned the yard of so much tree debris, graded away from our house, put in swales, and seeded our unusual shaped yard. So impressed with not just the workmanship but the professionalism. Very reasonably priced too. Thank you so much!

When I began using alcs, my backyard was completely covered in weeds and creeping Charlie. The first year I began using them, it was eliminated. We then did the over-seeding and aeration in the fall that year. The next year or neighbors were telling us we had more positive results than their service that they been treating for years. If only I could keep the dog damage down, our lawn would be perfection.

I only wanted two weed control applications. I got what I wanted. Other companies wanted me to sign up for five or six applications. They did two different applications and it took care of my weeds.

I tried several landscaping companies for my yard weeding and feeding with no luck. ALCS did a great job. The first year and my lawn already is starting to look better. I hope treating next year will make it look the best it ever has. I highly recommend these guys.

This is our 1st year using ALCS . We had a yard that 5 years ago was a forest with 20+ dead Ash trees. We had the trees removed/ trunks ground up but our yard was filled with weeds and vines. We used ALCS to clean out the weeds and fertilize the lawn that I had planted by seed. They did a wonderful job and I look forward to using them next season.

I had started using ALCS Landscaping Maintenance two years ago for Week and Fertilizing services. They have always been out to service as scheduled. For the first time I have added the fall aeration and seeding service. As I have a lot of bare spots in my back yard I am hoping to notice a difference in the spring.

First time hiring someone to help with our lawn weeds (our Creeping Charlie was out of control). Within 2 weeks of whatever treatment they did completely (literally 90% or more) eradicated the Creeping Charlie and other weeds. Also paid for the aeration and over-seeding. Well see come spring how that helps.

Another great season and the best my grass has ever looked. Switched from a different company, and after two seasons with ALCS no more crab grass!! Will be renewing with them for next season!

ALCS never disappoints! We use them each year for lawn maintenance (fertilization, de-thatching, aerating, etc.), spring clean-up, and mulch. The crew is caring and asks along the way to ensure theyre doing the work the way wed like to see it done. ALSC Landscape Maintenance have transformed my lawn. Upon meeting Scott for a quote, he promised a 50% improvement on our lawn. By the end of the season, it was more like a 75% to 80% improvement. It was a very drastic difference. Now were midway through year two, and the property line between my neighbor and I is clear as day (see picture - my yard is the green one :-). Ive recommended them to friends and family, and now they are taking care of our business property. Great service, Great employees, Highly Recommended!

Did a nice job on my front landscaping 2-3 years ago, I still receive emails and just received one today that was titled OUTSTANDING INVOICE, just because of that behavior I will not be doing business with them and they are very close to my home. I owe this company nothing!

Very quick response to request for service. We have a mature yard that has not been seeded or fertilized or anything in the 10 years before we bought. ALCS came out and did an over seed this spring and we now have grass growing in places that had been neglected, and the rest of our yard more healthy than last summer. We had a wonderful experience with Aaron and his crew. Once I called for an estimate, I was contacted within a day and an estimate was scheduled within the next week or so. They talked me through their suggestions and the next steps and our grading project was scheduled for early Spring. The weather wasn t cooperating but they stayed in constant communication about schedule updates! We just had our yard graded and seeded the other day and the crew was professional, efficient and were happy to answer my questions on site! I would definitely recommend ALCS Landscaping to anyone and will definitely call them back again for more projects in our yard.

Just witnessed a company pickup truck aggressively swerve around another vehicle on the passenger side at a red light (while the other vehicle was in motion) and nearly hit the passenger front corner of it, just to get right in front of the vehicle. 11-26-2019 6:25 AM traveling southbound on 76th street at Capitol Drive. When the light turned green, aggressive acceleration followed by blatant speeding up to Burleigh Street. This is poor advertising and paints a bad image for the business.

I highly recommend them. They do great work, my yard looks amazing.
