Very happy in my dealing with Allen to look at a tree I was concerned about. John was incredibly informative and knowledgeable.

Great work and great suggestions to keep my exterior trees looking great! The office kept me appraised of any delays due to weather which helps a great deal. Very reasonably priced and a local company, which makes it even better.

I cannot praise Allen s enough. In the final week before our baby was due we had a huge tree that got a crack that was presenting a danger to our neighbors. John, Gary & Diann worked together to help us get it done and taken care of within days. They were attentive, discussed all options and had better price options than 11 other companies (by a significant amount). The job was done quickly, cleaned up beautifully and they followed up to check on Ameren after delay in power restarted. On top of all of their excellent work as a company, they are REAL people. Allens Tree Service removed a big tree from a spot close to two houses. As I watched them work, I never worried once. They really know what theyre doing.

I had Allens remove a fairly large dead Pin Oak from my the side of my property. They did a great job and the pricing was very reasonable. While I didnt get to see the tree come down, my neighbor told me about it - he was very impressed at the equipment used and the skill of the people running it. He said it was a heck of a show. I am just glad the dead tree is gone and not to have to worry about pieces of it coming down. Thanks a bunch guys!

Their employees worked most of the day in 100 degree weather removing a large weather damaged Ash tree, also an over grown bush, and trimming trees that over hung the house. This is the second time I used Allens Tree Service. They impressed me with their skills and ability. I plan to use their services again. If you need an Arborist I highly recommend John Beckman from Allens tree service. He is an expert in his field and he has been a huge help in getting the young trees in my yard going and also treating older ones. I wish I would have consulted him first when I had my trees planted, since the company I had do the work made a lot of mistakes that impacted their growth and some of the type of trees planted were not the best choice for the location. If you are going to have trees planted or are having issues with established trees give John a call!

We are extremely pleased with our tree removal from Allens Tree Service. We had a large pin oak tree right next to the house that died from disease. We asked for them to remove it and minimize yard damage and Allens delivered beyond expectations! Gary and his crew came with a bunch of equipment and men who worked quickly, safely and professionally to remove the tree that was hanging over our house. They cleaned as they worked and managed traffic on our street. They cleaned up the whole area and were in and out in an afternoon.

The crew from Allens Tree Service completed the job on March 25, 2022 and I am very pleased with the work. They did a great job. I had them remove two trees, a large Cleveland Pear and a small Crab Apple. They ground both stumps and also trimmed two other trees. They cleaned up the mess and hauled it away. The crew was friendly, polite and professional. I am very happy with the service I received from Allens Tree Service.

John from Allen Tree service came out and identified that my boxwoods were infested with leaf miners. He took time to show me how the insects were infesting the bushes. He was knowledgeable, kind, thorough and professional.

Allens Tree Service was great! They removed our diseased ash Tree while we were at work. Came home to find not only Tree removed exactly as discussed without any debris left behind anywhere. Will definitely use this service again as need arises.

Was extremely pleased with their work and attitude. The 2 workers that did the work were extremely friendly and competent. They verified all work before it started, asking questions and making sure we were all on same page. They were extremely skilled in cutting high branches and using ropes to make sure they all fell where they wanted without damaging the fence and pool they were overhanging. They then verified the work when they were done. I have never been more please with service work Ive had done.

Wonderful to work with. I have used Allen s multiple times and they never disappoint, I had general yard cleanup scheduled along with clogged gutters. Top soil, weeding, mulch, shrubs trimmed, debris removal. They walked around the yard with me before they started to make sure we had everything covered and they also made suggestions. Very considerate to clean up when done. They took the time to layout my flower pots and decor when done and it looked great. Some of these are small things but they do make a difference. I have them scheduled for tree removal in the fall.

Allens spray my Sweetgum tree (gumball tree) every year and do a great job. I see other trees in neighborhood that dont get sprayed and they have ugly gumballs all over yard and street and still have old brown gumballs still hanging on tree. Wish people could see my tree which has NONE. It is very affordable and cant beat the professionals that do the work. Thanks Allens Tree Service!!

Responsive, on time, professional, polite and, no time spent on cell phones.

Made an appointment for between 11:30 and 1:30 to have someone come out and look at some trees to take out. Called at 1:25 and was told oh you are next should be out there shortly. Called again at 2:25 when I hadnt heard anything and was told oh well I dont know how long he is going to be at appointments. Then why even give a time or at least have the courtesy and professionalism to call or text and let your customer know you are running late.

We ve had Allen s out a couple different times now. The gentleman who came out was very knowledgeable about our trees. They provide great service and are easy to work with!

This was the second time we have used Allens Tree Service. They do an excellent job of pruning.

The workers were efficient, quick and cleaned up the debris very nicely. I am pleased with the new look. They also answered my questions and followed any instructions I needed to give them.

They trimmed two River Birch trees and did an excellent job. There clean up was also excellent.

They do a did a good job trimming the tree back from our house and thinning it out.

Woman on phone rude saying they wouldnt do job. Mis- referenced my legal rights to trim neighbors tree overhang. At my insistence a man came out who said they would be liable for tree rot 15 years from now. Brown and Croupen lawyers say Allen Tree Service is wrong.

Allens Tree Service is doing a good job treating a diseased tree to live several more years. In addition, their customer service is also commendable. They always call me ahead of time to let me know when someone will be providing the next treatment and when its done the person leaves information about the treatment on my door.

The crew was efficient and did a very good job ensuring that the job was performed as expected. They were hard working and honest and were able to get the job done quickly. Would recommend.

They dont even deserved a one . If I rated them for not returning calls planting dead tree and very unprofessional.. then maybe a 10 the worst tree service I have ever dealt with and they talk to you like you dont know what you are talking about.

Ive had the pleasure of using the services of Allens Tree Service for a number of years now. I believe my old, giant hickory tree was saved by them. When I had a difficult situation with a fallen tree and a neighbors property Kevin was very helpful. The advice Ive received from Kevin has always been practical. He doesnt push me to do things to my trees that I dont need. I always recommend Allens Tree to my neighbors and friends. Caden deserves a shout out too. not always a way for him to make a buck. Allens just trimmed out our trees. They were punctual and did a great job cleaning up. John Beckman is always helpful and extremely knowledgeable about whats going on with our trees and the options we have to preserve them. You get what you pay for-these guys are the real deal!

Allens Tree Service removed a large sweet gum tree in my yard, ground the stump and took away the material, then filled the hole with dirt. They did an excellent job! The time from booking the work to having it completed was about a week. The crew arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up the site when they were finished. The only sign theyd even been there is that there is no longer a tree! I highly recommend Allens and would not hesitate to use them again.

They did a fantastic job trimming a large maple tree. I was out of town and communicated by phone, understood my needs and were very protective of the tree, trying not to damage it more than needed causing more problems.

I originally called to see about trimming the ash tree in my front yard. Kevin came out and told me that my tree didn t need a trim but probably needed to be treated against emerald ash bore since he could see the neighbors on both sides had trees with EAB. He then took the time to walk the rest of my yard with me, answering questions and offering tips about landscaping grass, and a new maple we had planted. I was very impressed and hired Allen s not only to treat for EAB but also to come back and build a retaining wall near my patio! Great company, hope to review again after the landscape work.

Weve used Allens twice so far, most recently for removing our landscape bushes that had grown too large and previously for removing a damaged tree from our yard. They did excellent work and were very responsive. They will be the first call I make next time I need tree or landscaping services.

WOW Georges crew was amazing! They did an awesome job getting high up and trimming the deadwood from the HUGE trees in my backyard! They were very professional, cleaned up the mess and left it looking better then when they started! Im so impressed and will request them every time I need a tree trimming!

I always get 3 bids. I chose Allens Tree service because they gave me the most reasonable bid and best information about my particular problem. Mr Beckman was the only person who actually climbed the steep hill that was covered with brush. He gave me a very thorough evaluation and answered all my questions. I called for an estimate on tree removal, and because I had several other companies bidding on my work, I was told that Allen tree service would not even look at the tree. The girl told me that theyd be more expensive than anyone I got estimates from. Is this backwards or what?

My wife and I own The White Owl, which is a wedding venue located in Wright City, MO. We had numerous trees that were dead or dying and a multitude of limbs in need of trimming, all located in areas close to and over our buildings. They did a really good job and addressed all the areas I asked them to without me being there. Only issue I had was it took a month to get me on the schedule. The problem with the scheduling is they should have been more forthcoming when the project was set up about the timing, which they were not.

Allen s tree serves was very professional I had a tree covering my pool with its overgrown tree branches (neighbors tree) Allen came out gave me a bid answered all my questions and even gave me more input on trees that I had no clue about very friendly and professional he s crew came out 2 days later and had it trimmed with in 2 hours they chipped up the branches and cleaned up if you need any tree trimmed I highly recommend Allen s tree service very good rates also

Tony came out exactly when he said he would and gave me an estimate for removing overgrown bushes, shrubbery and a tree that I could no longer handle. Who ya goona call when bushes need trimming.........Allens tree service thats who! Old mulch was raked away and replaced with new and better mulch, the bushes look great. The workers were friendly and even gave me FREE advice as how to take care of a newly planted tree so it wont get damaged by the winter weather. Thank you!

My experience with Allens Yard Service has not been very good. At the end of the season in 2018, I specifically asked about what needed to be done to treat a specific type of weed. I was told, it would need to be addressed the following spring and a special treatment would need to be done. At the beginning of this year, I repeated my request, was told an extra fee would be charged, I agreed to the service and the additional fee, well the treatment was not done, when I asked about it again, I was told it was to late. My yard, has never looked worse. The weed in question, has taken over.

I chose Allens Tree service because they gave me a reasonable bid and provided the information I need for my particular situation. Mr. Beckman gave me a very thorough evaluation of the condition of the tree and answered all my questions. The crew did a professional job of removed the multitude of big limbs over the house, grinding the stump and roots, and clean up. I am happy with the job and would recommend Allens Tree service.

Allens Tree service has been spraying out apple tree for many years to prevent worms making the apples more edible. They have now been spraying our sweet gum tree to prevent gum ball formation for several years and now we have so few to worry about in our front yard. Im sure our neighbors are thankful as well. Staff is easy to work with and friendly.

I used Allens Tree Service for help with my trees last year and was surprised to learn that they also provide landscaping and lawn services. Excellent Service

Ive had Allens do all kinds of tree and yard work for a few years now. While others ran away in fear of pruning my gigantic tree, they had no problem. You have to schedule pretty far out in advanced, but its not an issue once you understand. The work is always top notch and usually right on or a little below as quoted.

Allens Tree Service was recommended to me by a friend. From the initial phone call to make my appointment, to the tree service technician who came out to speak with me on my initial consultation...they were nothing but professional. Knowledgeable, professional, informative, patient with all of my clarifying questions---they were top notch all around. I was very pleased to have them do the work I needed after the great interaction I had with everyone with whom I spoke. I will certainly be using them again in the future and recommending them to others.

- Communication with in the company is horrible - Communication with the customer is unprofessional and borderline rude - Takes weeks to resolve any issue because no one at Allens Tree Service will talk to each other - Only interested in getting paid, not with satisfying the customer - Does not take credit cards Everything started out okay with a prompt bidding of the job, but after that the communication with Allens fell apart. The original contract said that the work would be done with in 2-12 weeks, which seemed like a long time because our branches were hanging out of the tree and on some residential power and internet lines. About a week after signing the contract a storm took one of the broken branches out of the tree. The way the quote read it was $600 to remove two broken branches and an additional $150 to trim the rest of the tree to keep it 5 feet away from the utility lines and garage. With one branch now gone, I immediately contact our sales rep, John, who put the original contract together to ask if he could come out and reevaluate now that 1/2 the branches we needed removed were no longer causing a problem. The next day, with out any prior notice or word from John, a crew came out to do the work and later that week I was billed for the full price. When I replied to billing email, Diann, who handles billing and scheduling, was very defensive, and wanted to know why we thought it would take 2-12 weeks for the work to be complete. She said she never heard anything from John, and that she always worked to schedule anything broken or hanging right away. She claimed I was called but there were no missed calls, voicemails, or emails from Allens Tree Service. After many voice mails and emails I was finally able to get a hold of John about a week later. He said not having to remove the one branch was a minor thing and it would not have reduced the price at all. After pointing out that the way it was written seems like half the work was done by nature he said the real cost was to bring the equipment out there and it wasnt a real representation of the per branch cost. This may be true, but then the bid should be written to reflect these costs. When the crew came out to fix the tree, they did not even complete the work as stated in the contract, there was a branch much closer than 5 feet to the utility lines and another one close to the garage. Since John was not budging on price, we insisted that a crew be sent out to complete the contract as written. John promised he would come out and take a look to see what exactly was missed. John told us not to pay the bill, and he would make sure everything was taken care of. John did not come out to look at the tree for another week. During this time I emailed with Diann to try and find out what was going on, and how to get in touch with John and to request a re-quote of the work. Every email from her was defensive, and she acted like I was in the wrong. She repeatedly told me she would not get into it with me and that I needed to call John. And then said that she didnt know why John wasnt answering his phone, but surely he would call back shortly if a message was left, and everyone at the office always answers every phone call and email immediately. I explained that I was reaching out to her because I needed help contacting John, and she basically told me that it wasnt her problem. Eventually my original bill became past due. Since John told me not to pay until all the work was complete I responded to the office asking why the account had not been put on hold. It turned out John had not communicated anything we talked about to the office at all. As far as the office was concerned the job was finished to my satisfaction weeks ago. Eventually a crew was sent back out, with a phone call the day before this time, and the following day received a curt email asking that I please release payment for which I needed to mail in a check. No credit card in 2018? I am glad to be done dealing with Allens Tree Service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

called Arborist 3 times and Company 3 times to try to get on schedule, was told Field Techs. do not handle scheduling, ( understand) but why do they have their own phone # on business cards, was told as a courtesy, as I explained to rep. Diane, I was cut off and essentially Fired and not to call as they would not respond and do any work for me again. Have had Arborist and 2 Companies work for me for 12 plus years without such a rude, insulting response. In defense of Arborist, he did try to get us on his schedule but there were conflicts on both our calendars, hence my call to the Company and above results.

I had Allens Tree Service come out to trim some large branches from my neighbors trees that were touching and hanging over my home, garage and pergola. They even worked with my neighbor to trim more of the branches on his side. They did the trimming while I was at work. When I came home you wouldnt have even known they were there except for how great the trees looked. The crew cleaned up everything! I will definitely use them again and recommend their services to my friends and family.

Take care of fertilizing our trees every year. Always friendly an do a great job. Highly recommend to give them a call.

I had close to a 100 foot Cottonwood that Honeysuckle had sort of killed off, leaning right to our home. They brought in a portable bucket to be able to take the tree down in sections, as not to drop it on our pool fence and such. After grinding the stump we put some mulch on it and you would never know it was there. They have the right equipment to do the job properly, and I will be calling them as the other Cottonwood, that was alive, they warned me about, well it fell this weekend into our backyard with all the rain and a short micro-burst that took six tress out of 50 homes in our subdivision.

My husband and I have been using Allens Tree Service for many years for our mulch needs and they have always been extremely helpful,. Everyone I have spoken with as always been super nice and very professional.

Terrible, terrible, terrible terrible service. I approved the quote to have my trees trimmed. The didnt contact me for months. All the sudden, one day I notice my trees had been cut, and not to my liking. They never called to say they were coming. So I asked them to come back and trim them the way I requested. It took weeks to get back on their schedule, and then they wanted to charge ME interest when they finally got back to me for the delay. They hung up on me when I inquired about the interest. And my trees still look terrible. One tree is completely uneven and messy. I would NEVER recommend them. Im angry every time I look at my trees.

I was very dissatisfied with the services. They were very broad with their quote and made me feel like they were planning on doing more work when they said they would clear out the trees growing over our fence line. They left a 15 foot tree growing diagonal in my yard. I called them multiple times to try and come up with an agreement as I felt they did not do all the work and left one growing clear over my yard. They were not willing to work with me to make a customer happy. I was extremely reasonable with my requests and they just said. Sorry, but there is nothing we can do. Very unclear and unhelpful. Overpriced as well. I thought I hired a professional. Be careful and have them mark all trees before agreeing to any work or you will be disappointed.

Ive had an annual contract for fertilization for several years and I am very pleased with the results. We just moved last year and on the new lawn the treatments worked wonders. The staff is very friendly and courteous. For the size of my yard each treatment is $80 with an additional fee for fall aeration and seeding. This past July when a drop machine malfunctioned too much fertilizer left a dead spot in my back yard. Within 48 hours of calling a supervisor was out to inspect and offered to overseed or re-sod the bare patch for free. I look forward to working with them for years to come.

They know trees and landscaping. Allens has a team of expert arborists and make sound recommendations for preserving trees along with proper location for longer living plants.

I have used Allen to cut my shrubs for three years. They do excellent work. I asked for a bid for two years. This year I didnt. I was charged $145 more this year. Be careful to ask. They hung up on me when I complained, after telling me my bushes must have grown much larger this year.

I used Allens Tree Service back in March 2011 to remove 8 trees in my back yards so I could get the grass to grow. They ran a bobcat all over my back yard causing ruts that had to be filled. They also killed many smaller trees in the woods behind my house by running over them. They were more interested in doing the job fast than doing it right and minimizing property damage. Will never use these people again!

Used them for a few years to replace a tree and feed a few more. The replacement is still there but two blue pines and a young maple they were feeding died. They convinced me to treat my ash because of the ash borer problem that is coming to our area. That tree is now dying - the only one in the entire subdivision. Needless to say I did not renew my services with them this year.

These people are horrible!!!! They prey on the elderly and take advantage of them. My old neighbor told them he didnt want them to take down his tree and they had him sign papers he didnt know he was signing. Then charged him $4,200 to take down a tree another tree company was only going to $1,500 for. If this is how they treat innocent people in their community, they dont deserve to be in service.

Where supposed only come and prune tree when I was home. Failed to do that two months later secretary calls and threats to send me to collections for job I was not aware of was done. Claims to called and send letters every week. Not done. Very unprofessional.
