Some growing pains with a new garden is to be expected, but I am so happy to have chosen this company for it all! Luke held my hand, and made sure I was happy even on my cranky days. The initial service was impressive, but some areas of the installation and post experience fell short. My preferences were addressed upfront, but I later learned my concerns are to be expected based on my design choices. As a layperson in landscaping, I relied on Landesign's expertise. Regrettably, the overall design has resulted in significantly higher maintenance for both the front and back yard beds, contradicting my intention to minimize upkeep. It's disappointing that the company did not understand the assignment.
Had someone come to the house and consult on the 23rd of August. Was told I would have the bid within a week. I had to do 100% of the reaching out for status on bid. Never heard from this guy even once. Every time I called in, I was told the person responsible for the bid was out and was always told one more week. If this is the level of communication required from myself to just receive a bid, I’m certainly not going to risk the same horrible standards for service.
Tom and his team at Landesign Plus in Wentzville are awesome!! They are extremely understanding and knowledgeable about how the professional etiquette side of the landscaping industry works! I called Tom about an issue I was having and he jumped on it! He began to offer ways to remedy my problem without me even asking. Their reputation is important to them. They honor and value personal commitment and responsibility. He was a true professional. Landesign Plus will get more of my business in the future. Thank you Tom and Debbie for holding the values of business so sacred. With how companies treat customers today, I am convinced that ANY other company would have passed the buck. You guys did the opposite and for that I am truly thankful!
Absolutely love the work that Jeff, Ron, and team did! Had new landscaping done in the front of the house and sod to repair the damage from getting a new patio. They were great, professional, flexible, and on time. Great job guys, will definitely go back to them for future projects!
The Grounds Guys are great! We used them last year to trim all our trees and bushes and had them back this year to pull out some old plants/trees and plant new ones, plus add rock to a couple of our beds. Their guys are so friendly and work very hard and very quick. Their prices are amazing as well. I highly recommend them!
Mark and his crew did an outstanding job at our home with some landscaping changes. They worked diligently, listened to my concerns, made the necessary changes and cleaned up after themselves. I had my water main replaced (not by grounds guys) which left a 35’ x 4’ clay mess in my yard. Grounds guys came and helped straighten out the mess: slope, grade, gravel in some spots - topped off with seed and straw. The grass is growing well, my front yard is almost back to good as new! The quote was also very fair, lower than similar competitors. Only issue i had was getting on their schedule. Once scheduled, it was quick and easy!
Absolutely terrible communication! I had an appointment scheduled for May 4th. They texted me, on the 3rd, to confirm my appointment, then CANCELED at 9 am day of and rescheduled for two weeks later. Fast forward to my appointment today scheduled for 8 am.. no one shows up! I ve called and texted and haven t gotten an answer from anyone explaining why the salesman, Luke Sammelmann, is over an hour late. Complete waste of my time!
The Landesign Team has been a pleasure to work with from scheduling, too notch service, and friendly Office Staff and Billing Department. I will continue to use them for my landscaping needs.
Near 6 weeks ago I had a walk around with a very pleasant gentleman for a hardscaping and softscaping estimates. He said it could be ten days to receive an estimate. I have called the office 2 asking for an update. I still have not received anything. So I guess I will move on!
The Landesign Plus has been servicing all my commercial properties as well as my home for a few years now and I must say my grass has never been greener! They are quite reliable, accommodating and very well priced!!

I ve used Landesign for a few projects around my house .pavers, landscaping edging, sod removal, flower bed design and plantings, dry creek, drainage and couldn t be happier.
We built our house in 2005. Landesign was able to do our initial landscaping and have been there everytime we wanted to add anything new. This last time we just needed a tree removed and new mulch and trim. Love working with them and would recommend them to anyone.
I had the worst lawn in the neighborhood, so I had new sod installed. Soon the new sod was looking sad, so I called Landesign Plus. Now its by far the best lawn in the neighborhood. Thanks guys!

We requested to be first when opening our irrigation system due to work commitments and Landesign Plus was responsive, punctual and very professional when they arrived at our home at the beginning of their day.
Great work! Great design! Fast and professional. Enjoyed working with Jeff Emge and his team. I changed my mind regarding a tree on the day they arrived, I was afraid there would be some issue with straying to original plans, but Jeff was flexible and made the changes. Everything is beautiful!

Although their services are expensive, they are very thorough, responsive, and proactive. I trust them to do what they say they will do and do it well. I never feel a need to check up on them. All I do with my landscape now is plant annuals and water. That leaves much more time to enjoy my home and yard.

Our yard had large patches with no grass were there is now grass. Our yard has beautiful green grass and it is absent from any weeds. Great Job!!!

The Ground Guys did an excellent job of skimming off the pond in our neighborhood. It has not looked this good in a very long time. They stuck with it until totally cleared of algae and also cleaned up all the mess when finished. We have been looking for a company that would do this job and we re lucky to have come across The Ground Guys.
The Grounds Guys have taken care of all my lawn and landscaping for the past 4-5 years, including cutting lawn, fertilizer, weed control, pruning and caring for bushes and trees. Also they open, close and service my sprinkler system. It is nice to have this all with a single company. They do an excellent job and if there is ever an issue, they take care of it, no questions asked. 5 stars.
