Firefighter lawn care recently fixed a major ground water drainage issue we had, installed irrigation system around our pool, did dirt work and put sod down. These guys are the hardest workers I’ve ever seen, very professional, excellent communication and pay attention to every detail. They exceeded our expectations and we will be using them in the future for all of our lawn care needs. I’ll also be sending many people their way!! My only regret is not taking before photos
The review is entirely valid as we were brought to court based on lies by this company and lacked the funding for an attorney. A bad chain of events, hopefully based on misconceptions. Wary and concerned. Your intentions were good but turned dishonest. Since I got a response and read your denial. I will continue to tell my story of elderly abuse and lying about contracts, game on. There was no contract, but since you lied about that, why did you walk off the job or when did your work end? The work is still not completed. Why would we hire landscapers to do liscensed electriction, plumbing and other professional work that you billed for at a massively inflated rate? Is that legal? Serious who hires landscapers to do remodel jobs, noone thats who.
I hired these folks to take care of my lawn when I couldn't always get to it. The crew has great attention to detail, they do a great job on edging and even controlling weeds along my driveway edge on the way out. They do a great job of blowing off all the areas including my long driveway and back patio which is MUCH appreciated. They are careful around the house. I think this is a great business! I spent several weeks looking around for quality sod providers and decided to go with Firefighter Lawn Care. I was a little hesitant at first because sod is a perishable product and generally most providers don’t keep their promises because of this reason. I’ve been left waiting on sod for weeks after being ready to throw it down, having to grade over and over again. Firehouse had me pay in advance which I wasn’t comfortable with because of past experiences with other companies. I did it anyway. They promised me a delivery date and a time. They called a day early to ask if they could bring it earlier but unfortunately I couldn’t leave work that day. I was impressed! The lady I spoke to said it wasn’t a problem and they could bring it the date we agreed on. Surprisingly it was on time and exactly what was promised! I’m so happy with the product. Delivery price was more than fair, too! I ordered 20 pallets of TifTuf and it’s filling in nicely especially after it being a week laid and enduring 100° days this last week. I’m 7 days into it and some of the sod went dormant because of the heat but it’s pushing roots down now. Note: most of the sod was laid the next day. It’ll come back! When it does, I’ll update the photos. Thanks Firefighter Lawn Care! You guys killed it and will always have my business!
We hired this company to install a French Drain for our home,we just purchased, here in Weatherford. I cannot begin to tell you how awesome this company is!! It took awhile after the estimate to get started, but it was well worth the wait. They were professional, hard working, cleaned up all the aftermath trash, and were so nice!! It was such a coincidence that 3 days after they completed the job, it rained. So we didn't have to wait long before we could see if it worked. INDEED IT DID! We also had them clean out, remove our ugly planter in front of our home and had them replace with rock and stone plants. It's so much cleaner and beautiful Thank you to Eric and his team for doing an awesome job! Also, go check out their nursery. Beautiful plants and trees!!!

These guys are great! Eric is so easy to get in touch with and work with. We used them for leaf cleanup and they did an outstanding job. They also take care of the lawn at a house that a family member owns but does not live at. It is always done on time and very well. Eric and his crew are hard working and very dependable, the Weatherford area is very lucky to have such a great lawn service. A great local small business!
We did not use this business because we were looking for a one-time mow. If you care about customer service, they excel in this. Very professional and informative.
They have a good variety of plants; Tammy had ordered what I needed and on time.The only drawback is the lack of warranty.
In the spring of 2021 I contracted with Firefighter Lawn Care to move some dirt, grade and area and install sod. They showed up late in the day, stayed until the job was done (almost dark) and did an excellent job. The area still looks great and will be that way for many years to come
Contacted these guys to level a part of my lawn and install sod - they were awesome!! On time- quick and efficient- even let me know when they were going to lunch- it s been tough to find people to come out and bid a job in/around granbury- what a pleasant surprise to find contractors that follow through!!! Nice job!!
Prompt and friendly!
My fiancé worked with Eric on getting quotes on sod installation and xeriscape. He was very responsive and detail oriented. We ended up doing our sod installation through Eric. His crew run by Jose came out exactly when they said they would and were very efficient and friendly. Jose helped answer a lot of questions I had in regards to irrigation for our new sod. Needless to say we are very pleased with the work by Eric, Jose and FireFighter Lawn Care. We will be using them in the future for any of our landscaping needs.

Left email requesting quote. Made a date and they called late on that day to reschedule for the next day. Show up unannounced afternoon of next day. Not apologetic at all for showing up and said they sent text messages to us. Just as his office phone is a land line and they do not always accept text messages. He felt as i was rude for not readily accepting his attitude regarding cominications, and just stormed off like a little child. He was expecting that I would apologize for his rude behavior. I am over 80 and can recognize rude when I see it. Your office explicitly stated they would CALL us. The customer in tis case is right. You were very short tempered. I guess you had a tough day, but taking it out on a customer is RUDE.
Excellent company
A crew of 6 spent an entire morning weeding, mulching, digging out roots and grinding 3 tree stumps in my yard. I have been having poor health and was not able to do my usual maintenance through the summer months. These guys were wonderful. They did everything I asked. I give them extra points for allowing me to help without criticizing. I fully recommend Firefighter Lawn Care. They even install Christmas lights. I especially appreciate that they didnt have me sign a contract. Most companies I contacted were so interested in signing me up for monthly service that they had a hard time hearing me describe the job. Not Eric at Firefighter. He came, he saw, he followed through.

I hired them to remove all of my bamboo, and paid them up front, I thought firemen would be honest. They did half the job then told me I signed a contract for them to use a machine that would only do half of the job. They refused to remove all the bamboo and refused to return any of the money. Dont trust them to keep their word especially if you are a senior citizen.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE/COMPANY. I asked for a one time mow bid and they said they could be out on the 26th to give me one...I finally get it on the 29th. Not a huge deal, maybe their busy? I accept the bid and sign and send in the contract. They call me and set up an appointment for Friday the 7th...they finally show up after 5:00 p.m. and say they cannot mow it due to a small muddy area. The yard looks exactly the same as when Eric came out to bid it. They could simply push mow the small area and not get their big mower dirty. They had me wait for twenty something minutes while they figured out what to say/do. My opinion is they are very unprofessional by not honoring the contract that was signed. I thought this was a Fire Fighter lawn care business??? Definitely no brotherhood in the way it s operated.

Weve been using Firefighter Lawn Care for over a year! Several people in our new neighborhood raved about Eric and his team. We started with a lot cleanup which was no easy task Im sure! Eric was very responsive and easy to work with. Since the cleanup theyve been doing our lawn maintenance while we are still living an hour away. We know we can trust them to get the job done and online payment makes the distance easy! Next up will be a bid for landscaping and sod on our new house!
