Van Anderson and crew of Waynesboro Landscaping have once again transformed our property, first adding a patio garden we have enjoyed for years and now our front yard defining our property with trees and shrubs, both hard and softscape. We are very pleased!

I had never been before. The choices are outstanding and the quality is as well. Really excellent service and will be back again. Edited: returned today a year later. So impressed with Cameron s assistance. He helped me pick out 10 beautiful shrubs , an assortment for two areas I m working on. It was Wednesday so I was given a Seniors Discount! Lovely nursery with excellent choices and a very helpful staff. Will be returning, on a Wednesday , when I get these in the ground.

We ve had Van and his team out to our home for several years now and have been extremely pleased with their work. Van is very helpful with planning and considerate of our budget. Highly recommended.

We are thrilled with the new native garden which borders our driveway. Laura Hotinger and her team did a magnificent job. Laura was here in 2023 and designed and installed the first phase. They were back last week and completed phase 2. They also beautifully pruned and mulched our foundation plantings and replaced several boxwoods. Thank you so much for an incredible job. This is my third review Waynesboro Landscape and Garden Center. Van and his team are 3 for 3!! The planning and execution are meticulous. They have done three stone projects for us. The work looks like it belongs at Monticello or a million dollar home. We could not recommend this company and Van more. On to the 4th project :-) This is my second review (second project). They just finished a stone walkway (stairs) which turned out perfect. We cant tell you how beautiful in turned out. Between Vans design and the men that created the stairway -- its stunning. The attention to detail is over the top (meticulous). Thank you Waynesboro Landscape and Garden Center! Van and his team built us a new stone wall which turned out perfect. The craftsmanship was excellent. Our neighbors have raved about it. We highly recommend the landscape experts at Wayneboro Landscape and Garden Center. They came to our home in Charlottesville, no problem at all.

First experience was excellent. Thorough communication and follow up at key points, gladly revised quotes and very friendly. After they completed my plantings they called back to say I could use a little more of the previously existing mulch and theyd be happy to return to add some ...at No Charge! Highly recommend!

I just had a couple of new flower beds added to my yard. Aaron was very helpful in helping me design it and select appropriate plantings. He worked with me to help me stay within my budget without feeling I was making any material trade-offs. The installation was expertly done and my yard looks fantastic.

We had a great experience with Van Anderson and Waynesboro L&GC. We started our relationship with Van and WL&GC setting up an appointment with Van to come out to our property and provide us an estimate for the planting of a substantial number of trees. He was able to come out quickly and arrived on time, and took the time to answer all our many questions and make suggestions as to the best tree to use in our specific situation. Van and his team did an outstanding job planting the trees and cared for our lawn and property like it was their own. They were professional, on time, ensured that the site was not only clean and tidy after they completed their work, but actually left it in better shape than when they go there. The trees themselves appear healthy and well cared for, and they had all the necessary equipment and personnel to get the job done quickly and efficiently. We are grateful for the professionalism and kindness that Van and his team showed us, and we anticipate that we will be delighted with our trees as they take root and grow. We have already received, in a very small town, numerous comments on how great the trees look in our front yard. Thank you Van! Great people & extremly knowledgeable! Just today I was able to bring in a few clippings from my bushes that had something unusual on them & they were able to identify it (some weird bug) & recommend what treatments to use & I trust it will work just fine. A couple of years ago they helped me save all my roses & my tomatoes. Ive also purchased many plants here & they have all been beautiful & healthy. They have the cutest store inside you have to visit. If youre looking to beautify your space with plants of any kind go here, theyll help you in any & every way.

Making a trucking delivery here is easy and you can spend the night there in the front parking lot but at 7am they will wake you to go around the back to deliver. Had a full load of plants and In 2 hours they were done and everyone is nice

I have a gorgeous new flagstone patio (and a french drain), thanks to the planning of Emily and the competent workmanship of Daniel, Victor and Corey. They got to my project pretty quickly, stuck with the job until it was done, and were extremely responsive to my desires and concerns. Im very pleased.

Aaron was an absolute delight, he helped me with everything step by step, and worked with my budget to make sure I got the yard I wanted. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Oh my gosh, where to begin! Finally, and at long last, a professional, high quality nursery in our area! And they have exactly what is required to be considered as such: excellent quality, very reasonable prices, wide variety, professional and courteous employees, and customer appreciation. As avid gardeners with a greenhouse, we are absolutely thrilled that they re here, and now we go nowhere else!

Jay and his team have been helping us with our landscape and hardscape design and implementation, and with ongoing maintenance, since 2021. We are extremely satisfied with their work and recommend them very highly.

For the two years we ve lived in Afton we have used Van and his team at the Waynesboro landscaping Garden Center. Our yard has dramatically improved 200% over the last year or two since we ve obtained their services. The weed and feed the topsoil the attention to detail is amazing. All of the neighbors have commented, how great it looks and we really feel like we re making the property more valuable by keeping the yard, so nice. I highly recommend Van And his team for all of your needs

We had a wonderful time working with Aaron on the landscaping, lawn installation and drainage installation at our new home. Aaron was extremely helpful & knowledgeable about all of the aspects of the project and helped us think through the different stages as we were building our home. With all the stress of building a new home, we were so relieved to be working with Aaron & his team. The communication was great, they worked within our budget, consistently showed up on time, & everyone was so friendly. I had a basic idea of what I wanted. Aaron listened & suggested plants that would not only look beautiful but would grow well over the years & not cause us problems in the future (ex. tree roots under stone walls). I m already looking forward to additional projects in the future!

Laura listened to what I wanted and created a landscape plan that implemented that vision. The installation crew was professional and the job was completed on time and on budget. Looks great. Highly recommend!

I worked with Emily who came out to look at our land and talk to me about what I wanted. And when her crew was available, they came to do the work. She met them and showed them and painted on the ground. What they should do. The crew was awesome. They came in the morning they worked throughout the day. I had an afternoon appointment and when I came back it was raining and they worked through the rain and they stayed until everything was done and all was cleaned up, I am very pleased and highly recommend them if you need and landscaping work done

There is a wide assortment of healthy looking herbs, plants, flowers, and everything else pertaining to gardening. Inside you will find plenty of unique gift ideas as well as pots, feeders and other interesting items. All at reasonable prices. The people are helpful and friendly. Best of all, I dont feel like I am just another customer shopping among the masses, like I do at the popular, but very overpriced nursery in Stuarts Draft.

I really enjoyed the selection and variety of plants here. It has much more than you would find at one of the big box stores such as Lowes or Home Depot. I was especially happy to find a decent selection of Virginia native/nativar plants that help as host plants for pollinators. Two small things to not. First, there were some plants in stock that seemed to have seen better days, and some where the plants were competing (and losing) with weeds in their nursery containers. Second, I was disappointed (but only a little) when I purchased a hydrangea that was tagged with Proven Winners Incrediball Blush, but now that it has to come to bloom it is clear that it isnt definitely not the blush (pictured). I have looked at the nursery container it came in and now see that it has multiple labels all with different cultivar names. Im not sure where the mixup happened but hopefully it is something that is fixed with their inventory. Overall, its still a gorgeous plant and dont intend on removing it. Overall i really enjoyed my experience, and the staff was very friendly and hope to shop there again whenever I come to visit family in the area to help them with their landscape.

Purchased a large fountain on a summer sale . Recently dismantled it because it wasn t working properly and found that the bowl had been broken and patched back together. I should have looked more closely, but I definitely should have been made aware of the previous damage. Unprofessional.

High Quality plants, trees etc.

We told them we need 53 cubic feet and they told us we need 64 cubic feet. They told us wrong, and gave us way to much. We also asked them the top soil into the garden bed and and the put all on my grass.

I adore this friendly business for many reasons, Spring flowers, btw 82 days till Spring as of this writing, lol.., the hard to find gardening needs but mostly the shop. I have so many wonderful, unique and beautiful items that grace my home from the shop . Gifts also given to others to enjoy. Yup, time for a Waynesboro Nursery trip very soon .

I like shopping at the Waynesboro garden center because employees are truly knowledgeable in almost all garden-related scenarios and honest if they don t know; and I can trust that when I buy things like grass seed there, that I m buy seed and not filler like other stores that worry more about cost cutting than quality.

The Waynesboro Garden Center is great! They have answered so many of my questions and helped me understand how to take care of my plants, especially while I was learning to garden. They also have beautiful holiday decor and I can usually find pieces for my Christmas village there.

Very nice place , first time there its really nice they have lots if discount on almost half the store . If you looking for gift for this year or next year I really recommend this place.
