The entire experience that we had with Morris & Bergen Irrigation was flawless. Demetro the owner was easy to reach and his quote was spot on. Bobby the supervisor came early on the day of the irrigation installation and went over everything thoroughly with us before his workers started. The workers were professional, respectful, and clean. I would highly recommend Morris & Bergen Irrigation. 2024: I had some neighbor issues with my sprinkler system. However, Bobby and Elias were extremely helpful and made a difficult situation seamless with moving my main line. Great service!

Just a fantastic company. I have been a customer of M&E for years and have always thought the were five star. However, a new anecdote. Chris, one of the technicians, came to our house last week to do our summer update. He could not get the system working because our internet had gone off line. So, he proceeded to fix our internet connection (no joke) and THEN he did he regular irrigation process. Incredible. Good example of how committed M&E is to the customer. Suffice it to say that as long as I have a lawn, I will use M&E.

Jack was the technician who came to do the mid season check up. I had an issue with a leak that he detected, explained to me the problem and fixed it. Although it was an extremely hot day, Jack took his time and did great work! Thanks!

If I could give 10 stars to Morris & Bergen Irrigation I would. Every step of the process was handled with professionalism and true commitment to customer satisfaction. From their expedient scheduling to assess the issues, discussing irrigation repair options, final installation to leaving the work site immaculate, I am absolutely impressed. Bobby and Elias were excellent. Elias did the work and Bobby identified some core issues that saved us a lot of money in the process (reducing our original price quote substantially!). The team came out to repair some serious damage to our sprinkler system zones caused by our landscaper. My wife and I took on a project of building our kids a playground in the backyard which required the use of an excavator to level a large hill. My landscaper assured me that the sprinkler lines would be avoided. Didn t exactly work out that way but in came Bobby and Elias to the rescue. Now we have our playground, our irrigation system intact (working better than ever) and a beautiful landscape. Excellent job guys!

We recently had our Spring re-activation visit. Andrew was right on time and after greeting us at the door he said he noticed we have a line for a drip system for our raised bed planters, which hadnt been delivered yet at the time they originally installed the irrigation system. He asked if we wanted him to set that up, discussed with us the different methods he could use to install it, and we found a solution that worked great. He did an excellent job of installing the line, and we were very happy that he prompted us about it when he saw it needed to be done. Overall, we are very pleased with the service and with Andrews professional and courteous visit.

Dan arrived today to complete the spring start up for my system. Dan was very helpful and complete in explaining my system to me and what he needed to do. He is truly an asset to your company, and I have requested that Dan provide all service to my system. He offered several tips on how the system operates that helped me understand it so much better... Morris Bergen acquired my old irrigation company I used. They came today to open up the lines and check out the system. Dan, the technician was very personable and knowledgeable. He made some adjustments which will help my yard come summer time. Would highly recommend these experienced industry professionals.

We have a sprinkler system that is 2 years old. Morris and Bergen Irrigation opens the system and closes the system for the past 2 years and insists on doing a mid summer check as part of the contract. Every single time they turn our sprinkler system on for the season and every mid summer check it is a completely fraudulent up sell. For my last mid summer check they claimed I needed a new faucet on the water outlet (1 year old and installed by the builder). There was nothing wrong with my outdoor faucet. It was a sleazy up sell by that tech. Morris Bergen clearly spiffs their techs to sell repairs even to a new system if they did not install it. Their mid month check is a pure fraud experience where the tech serves as salesman claiming something is broken or could be better because they use better equipment. Today when they opened up my sprinkler system for the season they claimed the rain sensor was stating dry even though it was raining outside. The tech claimed the rain sensor was not working and that they could install their better brand. My rain sensor was installed in 2022 (2 years ago). I wasnt going to be lied to again, and I told the tech that I would have the company who installed it replace it under warranty. While the tech was still at my house, I called the Morris and Bergen office and spoke to Sheryl to complain that the tech was again trying to up sell me on a new rain sensor. As soon as I called the office to complain to Sheryl, she put me on hold and called that tech and that tech reconnected my rain sensor and all was fine. There was no need for a new rain sensor! I guess this is the script for techs on a rainy day. Unhook customers rain sensors. Then tell customers that their rain sensors are not functioning. This is a disgusting and fraudulent practice. Please do not trust this company. Find a trustworthy ethical irrigation company.

I have been using this company for a long time, last year we did our backyard And most of the heads and lines got ruined. Bobby came and gave us And estimate for all new lines, however it was out of our budget. I was very sad but Bobby came back and we work on a better price just fixing what I had. On the day of the job Bobby came himself to make sure the guys did what I wanted and that I was happy with the job. Hansen and Bryan work for almost 3 hrs and fix it all up and then put seeds on all where they worked. At the end he ran out of seeds and Bobby told him not to worry he will come in one day and put more seeds down for us. Hansel was very patient and show me how to work with the control panel. Bobby was fabulous! Called before showing up for the walk through of our expansion ( they did the original system years ago). The day of installation was equally as fabulous. Omar & his team were on time. They had to hunt for the buried contol boxes, but you had no idea once they were done. The expansion is complete!

Let me start off by saying my residential lawn project was huge and lasted over 1 year due to various approvals that sprung up along the way. I only know of Morris & Bergen because they are the preferred vendor of our hired landscaper CLC Landscaping. We actually had Morris & Bergen come out twice for estimates. And then once for installation, and soon to be another round as there was an unforeseen problem with a fence installation and the new sprinkler line has to be relocated. Anyways, M&B always comes quickly whenever asked. It was very nice working with Lauren at the office, Demetreo, Bobby and Paolo. Bobby was the onsite project manager and I really appreciate him programming our 13 zone irrigation system and walking my wife and I on how to control it on the Hydra app. I also super appreciate the teamwork between CLC (specifically our pm Rob) monitoring how my plantings and sod are doing and informing Bobby/M&B to tweak the watering schedule. Couldnt ask for better service. Also a shout out to Paolo who seamlessly did the plumbing. I also very much appreciate that they wore things on their shoes before stepping into my house so as to not drag in dirt. The main installation took 2 days and they were only inside my house for about an hour and half to do the plumbing work. Fantastic!

Very professional and knowledgeable installer. They came out and installed all 10 zones in about 8-10 hours and left my yard and sod looking like they hadnt been here. Exceeded my expectations. A couple of times during the work, Bobby took time to loop me in on what was happening and why. After the project completed Bobby checked in to ensure everything was working properly. During the project, the team accidentally cut a wire to a section of landscape lights. I contacted Bobby and he had it fixed in no time. About two weeks later, Bobby came out to turn on the sprinkler system and show me how to make adjustments should I want or need to. The system has features I didnt know I needed but am glad I have them. I am very pleased with the work completed and service provided - and Bobby made the entire process from start to finish easy to navigate and no-stress.

We recently contacted Donna at Morris & Bergen Irrigation requesting an emergency replacement of our modular controller. It was 3:00 p.m. Even though schedules were fully booked, Donna assured me she would contact us promptly. She was very pleasant and kept her promise. Within 15 minutes their Technician Chris arrived. It was the day of his daughter s 1st birthday celebration. Despite this schedule conflict, Chris displayed true dedication to his job by responding to our emergency. Chris was very courteous, patient and professional. He worked diligently installing a new Hunter Pro-C Irrigation Controller and rain sensor. The sensor installation also required him climbing a ladder to install a sensor component on our gutter. After, he turned the system on and checked every sprinkler head (both front and back lawn) as well as, shrub heads adjusting as needed. Lastly, Chris took the time to thoroughly explain the steps of using our new controller box. We are thankful to have obtained such a competent and knowledgeable technician like Chris. We highly recommend Morris & Bergen Irrigation and their Technician Chris . We truly could not have asked for better service.

I have only used them for 2 seasons and would not recommend their services. Had to cxl due to extreme unprofessional, rude behavior of the co-owner John. After scheduled spring visit their technician failed to turn on one of the newly installed water valves and was unable to have any water go through sprinkler system. The co-owner John tried to blame the failure on low pressure at the house and tried to extort additional $ for showing up again at the house and perform low pressure test. Stay away, there are numerous irrigation companies around that will gladly take your service$ and wont look to blame the homeowner for their employees inexperience!

We needed to remove a tree from our property, and the stump grinder cut right through our sprinkler line. M&B Irrigation found the issue quickly and replaced the line. They did a great job!

This negative google review is regarding the receptionists. I wanted to voice my opinion to the owner. If you are looking for rude behavior, then that is exactly what you will receive. I have been a customer for over 20 years and the quality of customer service has declined over the past few years. Early spring activation for your irrigation dictates how your lawn will look for the season. Expensive lawn treatments need to be watered. Expensive landscaping needs to have water. I called for an appointment and was given a date 4 weeks out. It is unacceptable to be given an appointment a month out to activate your irrigation system. Undervaluing your lawn care needs is not desirable. It was very unpleasant to speak to a receptionist today, explaining my lawn concerns and she kept saying okay okay well okay. Not receptive in the least. I then said to her that she has been very rude to me in the past years. She then said, oh no I haven t because I just started here . That being said, the receptionist model there is undesirable. Why would one use this company if there are so many other quality companies out there. That being said, I called a company that I use for my Christmas Decor. I booked an appt. for next week. To the owner of Morris Bergen Irrigation, your receptionists (more than one receptionist) are a disservice to your business. Just remember, this is the first line of customer service.

Everything was 5 star from the initial phone call, the scheduling of the installation, the planning of the installation with proper markings for underground utilities, and finally the actual install date. I waited from 1-5 pm called them after 5 and she said they were knocked the door and no one was there. I have camera system on my home and told her no one show up she is not even sorry for that. The staff are rude and non helpful. I waited 2 weeks for this appointment.Never work again.

They have one incompetent technician who broke my existing sprinkler connection while replacing a new head, causing it to flood in the area, ruining my new grass, and then reporting lies to the office to charge for repairs for their own fault. From the get go, Bobby was very responsive and accommodating in scheduling the install according to our timeline with installation of new sod. He answered all of our questions and has been ultra available throughout the process and post install. Paolo the crew leader and his men did exactly as Bobby clearly communicated to us. Morris & Bergen set me up with a full yard irrigation system after I initially contracted with them through CLC Landscape Design. Bobby is a great guy - he was highly available to answer all of my questions, made sure his team was all set up to start work and even came back after the work was done to adjust some of the water coverage that was saturating one low lying area. The work for ~5500 sq ft took just a day and was done before I even realized. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested.

He made sure to explain the entire irrigation and lighting process to my husband and me and took time to understand our specific needs. We received our quote later that same day and the pricing was very fair. The 3-day job was completed a few weeks later and Bobby was on site each day to ensure a smooth installation. He personally made sure that I understood the app to control the system before leaving, and checked in multiple times after to see if I had questions. We were introduced to Morris & Bergen Irrigation by our landscape architect and design team, who had promised us a modern and efficient irrigation system. We were not disappointed. Bobby and his team showed up and completed an 11 zone system in just under two complete work days. They had the right equipment and the right number of people doing the work. All of the work seemed effortless and contained, despite the tremendous number of moving parts involved in the installation of a brand new irrigation system. We also note that the system installed was not to any extent basic. We now have rotors, sprays and drip irrigation serving particular plant beds, plants and areas of lawn. And everything is entirely wireless. Bobby was particularly helpful. He explained what was going on, how long it would take and what the outcome of all the work would be. Throughout the installation he was here several times during both workdays. He made calculated decisions about what our newly designed landscape required and even consulted with me and my wife about some of the design elements he observed. He also went out of his way to give our landscape engineer a call to confirm certain details about our project, specifically an extended area of lawn requiring additional water. When the project was complete, Bobby made a visit the following morning (a Saturday) to confirm (again) that all 11 zones were active and working. He also had someone in the office program (remotely) our zones -- a feature we never considered and now are thrilled to have. After confirming that everything was working correctly, he showed us how to make minor adjustments and explained how service calls and the seasonal shutdown process work. Several days later, after communicating with my landscape team, Bobbys team also reprogrammed our irrigation system to reflect the addition of a great deal of sod, as well as several expensive, mature trees. A week or two later, we called Bobby again to schedule a final walk through to ensure that everything was running correctly. He arrived the following day without hesitation. Hes very personable and easy to interact with. It also helps that he knows what hes doing and talking about. When he speaks, we have confidence in what hes saying. Its difficult to say that about everyone. In any event, Bobby showed up and walked through every zone (again) with us. We even highlighted one corner that could have used some additional water - or a trajectory change - and after 5 minutes of analysis and adjustment, all was solved. We are extremely happy with the work completed by Morris & Bergen Irrigation. To be fair, it was not cheap. But theres something to be said about quality. We arent experts in irrigation systems, but we feel we paid for and received a very high quality product and service. The installation we observed was tight and sophisticated, and Bobby served a vital role in the execution and our understanding of the products installed and the project in general. The photos reflect some stages of the project, including the equipment used. This was not, by any means, amateur hour.

Morris and Bergen is a top notch company!! Always on time, courteous, and professional! We recently had their technician Dan open our system and we couldn t have had a better experience! He is very knowledgeable, Courteous, personable, and really cares and loves his job!! He explains everything that needs to be done to make our sprinkler system as proficient as it can be! We have an older system and anything that needs to be done he brings us out and shows us and explains everything in detail! We feel very comfortable and trusting with everything he says! We have used other companies and Morris and Bergen are by far the best we have used!!

My sprinkler and irrigation system were extremely worn and in need of repair so I was recommended Morris & Bergen Irrigation by a neighbor. The team who came (Joe and Lucas) were extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They replaced all the worn sprinklers and my sprinkler panel and everything is running fantastic! The new panel they recommended has so many great features and the best part is they monitor and helped me set the best settings so I conserve water and get the most care for my lawn and plants. They not only do excellent work, but are also very responsive when you call and always on time when they come to visit. They also offer maintenance plans which are reasonably priced so I have them do my shut-off and turn-on for my sprinklers for winter/summer. Im very happy with the work performed by Morris & Bergen. They came recommended by my landscaping and construction company. Upon further research, I saw that they were highly recommended in the local Facebook groups. Bobby came out for an estimate and we immediately hit it off. Communication by him and the office staff was great. They were able to work around my schedule. I was nervous about the crew installing around my newly planted beds, but I didnt find a single thing to complain about after the work was done. Definitely recommend!

I can not recommend Morris & Bergen Irrigation enough. Truly! From the first phone call with Lauren in the office to schedule an estimate all the way through Bobby showing up when the installation was complete to make sure I understood my new smart controller . My installation was set for two days and everything Bobby said during the estimate would be happening over those two days happened exactly as he said. He kept me up to speed on the progress of the install and returned both days around mid day to make sure the project was moving along. Paolo and his crew worked so neatly it s like they were never here! Just as promised. So happy. 5 Stars.

Yesterday MBI came out to do a summer service on our system just in time for the heat wave. I love the fact that I get a heads up via txt message to know they are on the way. Joe and his assistant Christian are very much in sync and work well together. I ve been a customer since 2015 after taking out a swimming pool and revamping the property in stages. Robert LaPaglia walked us through each project to what would work best with cost in mind. When we finished a couple of years ago he suggested I get the app on my phone so I can control all zone via a Bluetooth connection. It great I can see when each zone was watered last and when next watering was scheduled. Last week Brianna from the office called to say my WIFI connection was out, I was away and did not realize it, it was a simple reboot when I good home a few days later. Nice they monitor it too. I recently used Morris & Bergen (M&B) Irrigation for the first phase of landscaping at my home and what a great decision that was. The irrigation system that I had was very basic and with the addition of a lot of new plantings I was glad I chose a team that was as skilled in what they do as M&B is. It started with expertise of Bobby providing great suggestions from beginning to end. When youre spending a lot of money on new landscaping you dont want to have it die on you because you went away on a hot weekend and forgot to set the sprinklers. It could become a very expensive mistake. Bobby educated me on the benefits of a new controller, drip zones, and different heads based on where some of the new plantings were. The support he and his team have with Paolo and the installation team was top notch and very detail oriented, and it doesnt stop there. Lauren and the team with scheduling and billing had me setup with an appointment to blow out my sprinkler lines before the job was even done just to make sure I didnt do it too late in the season. This is compared to my other provider who didnt even call me back. Do yourself a favor and choose M&B for your next irrigation installation/upgrade project youll be happy to made that choice.

We had a great experience with a 9 zone installation. My wife is a passionate gardener and Morris & Bergen designed a system that meets our needs. The installation crew was very courteous and went the extra mile to avoid any damage to the various flower beds. A technician came back the next day for some minor changes, due to some miscommunication, and requested by my wife. All in all, highly recommended!

I priced a few companies for lawn sprinklers but was most impressed with the responsiveness and detailed quote offered by Morris & Bergen Irrigation. I had many questions on layout of the heads and operation of the system. Demetro never hesitated to explain to me the details even though I bet he thought I was crazy as my little lawn is no golf course. Install crew was prompt, clean, professional and thorough and left no trace of all the excavation required for the piping. Demetro walked me through the whole process on install morning and returned to make sure everything was working perfectly and I understood all the jazzy options with the WiFi controller. FANTASTIC Company! Morris Bergen installed an irrigation system in our home. I highly recommend them. Fantastic prices and most knowledgeable (we got 5 estimates). They were on time and promptly started working. The lead technician marked out where the heads and guts of the system would go he confirmed we were happy with everything and answered all our questions. Also they were very careful wearing coverings when in our home. They were EXTREMELY neat- they had to do a lot of digging and when they left you couldn t tell work was done. Grass was raked and seeded, they cleaned up all the excess grass particles that blew on the sidewalks and curb. Once the job was done, the lead technician walked us through each zone, explained timers and how everything worked. At the end of the day, Bobby came out to checked the work himself. He made sure we were happy. Not many companies do that! If you want an irrigation system or maintenance go to this company!

What a great experience from start to finish. I was quoted a very reasonable amount, for ***8*** zones!! Demetro was very punctual and explained the overall process. Within 2 days of approving the sprinkler installation, the work began. The crew that worked on the project was very clean, did not damage anything and it doesn t even look like anyone was there. The wiring and plumbing was done so clean, nobody would be able to tell where anything goes. Ofcourse, this all started after I began the grading process of my yard. The crew seeded any areas where they walked, drove the digger etc. Would highly recommend these guys. All work done in one day!! Big thumbs up from me.

We had Morris & Bergen irrigation install our sprinkler system several years ago. The price was great! The install went beautifully! The guys were professional, friendly, and they didn t mind me asking a few questions while they worked. Since then we have used them for service on the system. In late fall they come to turn it off and empty out all the pipes, and then spring time they turn it back on. Again, they ve delivered nothing but professionalism, courtesy, and a really pleasant customer experience.

There are few contractors that get a thumbs up from me. Everyone I spoke with was helpful and pleasant. The install crew completed in one day and the property was left in a raked clean condition. I picked a winner this time!

Appointments are easily made & they call you to schedule. They give you 4 hour time frames but my guy usually comes on the earlier part of the time frame which is good. They check all the sprinkler heads on the mid-summer visit & if anything needs replacing, the cost is reasonable. They offer different packages to choose from.. I ve been with them for about 13-14 years & I ve always had a good experience with this company. I would highly recommend.

I had issues with this company before. But the owner responded my concerns and had them taken in a timely manner. I will stay with this company but named a couple technicians whom I don t wish to see them. Some technicians are good, some are really bad and they were motivated to ask you to do more than necessary. For example, last year one technician suggested to put a whole new system when he found out I was the new owner and he quoted me over $6,000. Even his colleagues said it was nonsense later. They always over charged when replaced a head. When there is an issue over a bill, the girl always threatens to use collection services. I rated this company 5 stars because overall the technicians are very good. And the owner is responsive to concerns.

Been using this company for routine winterizing and opening of irrigation system, in that regard theyre flawless. However, when requested to make repairs the woman on the phone was quick to reply, in no uncertain terms, that she could not help me because the company is currently in winterizing phase. Not a single attempt to schedule something for their off season. Just an apologetic, I cant help you. To put their business plan in laymans terms: theyre willing to lose recurring business instead of scheduling a repair for their off season. They didnt merit 1 star only because theyre routine service is prompt and their service guys are solid.

The M&B irrigation crew did an amazing job digging the trenches, laying down the sprinkler system and restoring our entire garden site in a single day. We recently built a house, so understandably I have met and worked with dozens of subcontractors over the past year. Out of all the companies that contributed to the completion of my house, I was BY FAR the most impressed with the experience I had with Morris and Bergen Irrigation. The workers could not have been nicer or more professional. The owner of the company was at my house by 8:30am to introduce himself and make sure that I would be in touch during the day if I had any questions or concerns at any point. After a sub-par experience with our landscape architect, the fact that someone actually cared about our property was certainly a pleasant surprise! The workers stayed at my house until 7pm, insisting they finish the job, despite me feeling terrible that they were working so late. There were some issues that required a plumber mid-day and despite the inconvenience, they were still patient and so helpful. It is rare these days to find such hardworking and truly considerate people and I just wanted to pass this feedback along, as I hope they receive recognition for a job BEYOND well done. 5 star service from all parties involved, including Veronica who is the administrative manager of the company!

Bobby the owner was great to work with. They were very responsive and flexible and accommodating. Said the job would be done in a day and they worked all day until it was done. Would definitely recommend. I got 3 esitimates before starting this project and they were right in line with the other 2 quotes, and they worked quickly and efficiently. It was a positive experience.

The workers and manager who did my yard were great. It was a HUGE project with no issues. They worked very well with my landscapers to add 12+ zones in my yard. The only reason I did not give five stars is the office staff. Everytime I speak with them they give me the impression that if I took my business somewhere else, they could care less. I recently called a few months after finishing a major project to confirm the winterzation was included from my large project. The girl, who had my file or account open, could not confirm it nor could she confirm the project managers name. When I told her it was a pretty big job and I was surprised she didnt at least have the project managers name who managed the project, she snottingly told me they have many big jobs. I found all the information in my own file and called back. Most of my conversations with the office went in this direction. I preferred speaking directly with the project manager.

Have used their service for year. You have to be careful with their fees. During service call they will mention that sent a manager and a tech and charge you for all their labor time.

The guys are clean, courteous and reliable. I have been using Morris and Bergen for over 10 years to open/close and maintain my residential irrigation system. Last year I had them install a new and comprehensive multi zone system on our commercial property. The land had some inherent challenges but they completed the job on time and charged a competitive rate. They are a turn key operation with new work, (-design through install) and have been a reliable maintenance contractor. Recommend.

Very prompt and courteous service both during the initial call for an estimate as well as during the actual work. Was able to have them come to house same week as called for estimate. During the estimate, they were extremely knowledgeable and helped to educate me on what is best for the new zone I wanted to have added. Overall, would highly recommend them

Quick and easy experience dealing with Passaic and Bergen Irrigations. I had a few estimates from different companies and no company can beat Morris and Bergen County Irrigations prices. They were able to schedule a date to come out and install sprinklers within 2-3 days after the estimate.
