Mike Canzoneri made my lawn look amazing and hoping I can have the same 5 star technician this year he is very knowledgeable and a perfectionist

After only 2 months which is 2 applications my lawn is greener and thicker than last year this year they either forgot or didn t have fertilizer with them so they had to make another trip out again. Very Careless

The guys did aeration & overfeeding today. This was the 2nd step in my contract. At first no one came and they indicated that job was done, so I called & they sent another team to do the job they were supposed to do. Had I not called it would have been recorded as completed. The guys were pretty good & completed this step of the contract. Always call the company if you think they are amiss or if nit satisfied. They try to address the situation & remedy it.

I originally gave this more stars but had a bate and switch in pricing. I thought my season was paid for and believed the pricing was just under $300 only to realize I had already paid over $400 and they were looking for more. My bad for not watching my payments. The original salesman had me for $260 something and now the price doubled. Wont be using them again.

Ive been with True Green for a few years and was initially satisfied with their service. However, last year, they failed to address issues with baboo growth underground and bald spots on my lawn as promised. Their customer service was also extremely poor, and they even missed scheduled aeration services. I decided to cancel my subscription. Despite giving them another chance this year, Ive encountered similar unsatisfactory customer service other the phone, and the pricing theyre offering is three time higher than what was promised last year.

Stay away if you want your lawn to live. I have had TruGreen for 10 years. And the last 4 they have gone downhill in quality each year. My lawn is 50% weeds, and when they overseed, they sprayed grass seeds in all of my mulch beds, flower beds, stone work, pavers, etc. It took days to pull all the grass from where they spread it. And this was the 3rd time they did that. Terrible customer service, horrible work ethic for those who do the actual work. I fired them last year, and it will take at least 2 years to get my lawn back to where I had it myself 10 years ago. I have irrigation, mow regularly, and do everything right. TruGreen is just another example in corporate America where mediocrity is the goal.

Christian is new and is going to get the information I requested. Can get it out to me by mail. As he stayed at a cannot send anything email he was very polite. Prior to that, I got someone again in the Caribbean. A really didnt know about much about lord service . It was a pleasure speaking to someone in the states. Christian. I believe his name was very nice.

Still new to the service. Everything is going good.

Been using them for two years, not a great experience. First year I used them my lawn was in great condition when they started, at the end of the season it was pitiful. Reason they gave was that it was due to lack of rain and extreme heat. Gave them a second chance this year. Notwithstanding the weather has been been very favorable, my lawn is just as bad as last year, infested with weeds and crabgrass. Have called left messages, emailed no response.

A five hour time frame is a little bit ridiculous I do have to say considering every time they ve been at my house they re there for 15-20minutes

Have some spot weeds I need sprayed please otherwise my grass never looked better since switching to tru-green .

My technician was awesome in completing my service by applying the application to the entire lawn and he also took the time to speak with me on what to do after it drys.

I have been a costumer for years now and I have to say Jose R. knows what he is doing when it comes to my tree and shrub service. His knowledge makes me feel that I have the right person taking care of my arbervites. He notice a fungus growing and took care of it immediately. He also explained that he needs to come back in 2 weeks to reapply another fungus control application (free of charge) to make sure its gone. Im very happy with Jose R. and the work that he does. Hes very professional. I would like to have Jose R. continue with my service in the spring. I dont want anyone else.

Most Workers are not supervised and are irresponsible. They spend more time on their phones than working. My lawn looked awful all year this year and the past year. This was supposed to be a better year and was not. This free service was due to the worker who was supposed to seed and didnt in September. The worker today was good as I watched him.

Mike Canzoneri was my technician and I have to admit, so far since having the service provided, Mike seemed to be the most experienced tech I have had. I would rate him a 10, just because he went the extra mile for my lawn and I. He also took the time to walk me through all the problem areas my lawn has been experiencing. His recommendations are exactly what my lawn has needed and it has never looked better, even with all my turf care experience I learned through Rutgers. I wish all the techs that I had encountered had the knowledge Mike has.

Snakeoil salesmen. Avoid TruGreen. I was with another lawn care co. but responded to their promotion. I gave my address & salesman quoted me a new customer special price & I agreed. I asked for a email quote so I can see the offer but the salesman wouldnot & insisted all is well & repeated the services included & I trusted him & gave me credit card. Technician showed up in 2 hours to my surprise & told me the work order is only for front lawn. I was shocked & found out the salesman had tricked me into believing entire lawn is covered. Imagine you go a barber & find out price is only for front hair cut & not the back. I called their customer service 6 times & finally got a VM that I requested only front lawn & that is what they did & charged me for. They cannot transfer call to a manger. N.J. law permits 72 hours for customers to cancel a contract. It is only 26 hours since & I asked them to cancel the account & hope they refund the money back. Otherwise I have to call mastercard to dispute. Absolute dishonest company. Get everything in writing before your pay them.

The technician came and took less than 5 min to spray and left. Didnt even step to the back.

This is the second season using this company. They know what they are doing and I m very pleased with the way our lawn looks. They just need to be more careful with their application of anything like weed control as they are getting some of the chemical into our pool. Last year the technician took extra time to help me with an in ground bee hive. I have some bare patches like the pictures people posted. Grass is a living organism and goes through stages. Most lawns, mine included, need to be thatched so the work TruGreen does can reach the soil and roots. I look up my street and I m seeing at least three different lawn companies. My lawn always looks healthier or at least as healthy as the greenest lawn. Overall I m very pleased.

Terrible and traumatizing experience with TruGreen. Although their website claims that their specialists are trained to ensure all gates are closed before leaving the property, that wasn t the case for us. A specialist came and left our gate wide open resulting in our dog to run out where there is a busy street off our house. I am extremely disappointed in this service as we also have signs on our gates to keep them closed. They are unprofessional and don t care about your special instructions or obvious etiquette. We will never be using their services again.

NO,NO,NO! Dont do it. My grass is every color except green. Its yellow, brown and the color of French fries. Before them, my grass was beautiful. I only called them to get out weeds in my backyard. They used there product on my front and back yard and now there both toast. Literally! Also I have tried to cancel this service 3 times and they continue to come out, when Im not home!!! I dont want to go back and forth, my grass is ruin. That is all. I do not recommend this service to anyone. Period.

Took my money then didn t hear from them for over a week! When I did hear from them it was by text amd wasn t given a time of arrival. Ended up canceling the service. Not very professional.

Great Value

TruGreen is never True! They schedule the appointment and employees cancel for variety of reasons or sometimes no reason given to customer. There is no coordination or responsibility and managers never return the calls. They do charge ahead but don t provide service. Really surprised how they could grow with such poor service. Wish I could give negative rating for such multiple failures within past 8 months. Employees who work their aren t happy and talk negative about the company also.

Their weed control and seeding and airation did improve our lawn significantly. Last airation came out a bit sloppy

Filled out the online form. Was contacted by a representative within a few minutes and the male who called me was rude and unprofessional. He did not inquire about lawn size. He rattles out different numbers and different payment plans that will guarantee a thick lawn and then when I asked him to e-mail me the numbers so that my spouse and I could discuss I was told there was no need for that and that I should be able to review them through my brain and that an e-mail was not going to make a difference so he told me to call back when I wanted service, hopefully it wont be too late. I told him that he was rude and unprofessional and that I would find a company who actually cared about their customers rather than pushing a sale with minimal explanation. They should be ashamed.

These guys must be hurting for money cause they come knock on my door and leave pamphlets all the time. Like bro corona is real leave us alone and wear a freaking mask.

Ive since I started using TruGreen, my lawn has been free of weeds and bugs and has never looked greener. My neighbors have asked how I keep my lawn so green!

I am a new customer to the True green. Service for my property is scheduled for today 11am - 4 pm. I am diligently waiting for the service man to ring a bell a knock on the door. Instead i noticed a text to my phone at 2:35pm: will be there soon. I looked out the door and see a note: the area has been serviced. I wasnt even given a chance to show all the spots that need to be serviced. How long does it take to service a big area like mine? This is unacceptable to pay over $700 for posting a note on my door! If they dont come back and fix the issue, I am inclined to cancel the services.

Have been using TruGreen services for several years now and there has been a definite improvement in both the quality and appearance of our lawn and in a significant reduction in the mosquito population on our property.

Pricing is great, communication and customer service is great, and Im happy knowing that my lawn is getting what it needs and I dont have to worry about it. We have a dog, and its so helpful that we know exactly what day the service is happening. I had a customer service question about my billing, and the rep was an absolute delight. 10/10 would recommend!

Make sure you have cameras. They lie and say that they are at your house when they aren t. Didn t show up to three appointments, a waste of money.

I ordered a weed spray for the back but didnt confirm. They showed up unannounced and did 4 (!) services and charged me 4x the discussed price. On top of it, not a single weed was harmed in the process. Weeds look great! However the grass did turn yellow. After some discussion they did refund me, half the cost (so I still paid double and got zero value). Definitely go with someone local you can talk to, not this one.

My lawn was burned twice by True Green .I canceled service with the Wayne Branch. Today someone from True Green applied treatment after I had already canceled all future service Negative

I have to say Im not in love with TruGreen at the moment. My lawn, which looked really good in the spring has deteriorated quite rapidly this summer. Im at the point of hiring a new company to manage my modest lawn. If anyone has any suggestions please do not hesitate to assist.

I gave Trugreen a second chance after not being completely satisfied last year. Worst mistake ever! I scheduled a mosquito spray during the week of Aug. 9th. When I spoke to the representative I mentioned I was having an event on the 15 and he ensured me someone would come to perform my service. I called 2 additional times just to be told a manager would call me back. I never received a return call instead they showed up 2 days ater my event to spray. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Trugreen for any service. Yes, grass included! I also have the weed control service and I now have more weeds then before they started.

Not sure... Their support and response is good. But, not impressed with their mosquito control service. It got reduced a bit, but not gone. Upon hearing my concern, they sent their service second time free of cost, but no use. Not sure my mosquitoes are strong or their pesticide/technique is weak.

Customer since 2012. Lawn has turned into weeds. After multiple calls these past years and visits from supposed managers the lawn just continued to deteriorate. Twice they applied my service to my neighbor , who complained asking me what they had put on his lawn. I repeatedly gave this company multiple opportunities to treat my lawn and maintain it, even agreeing to expensive services which did nothing! I am done. Officially, cancelled their services. Beware if you have a beautiful lawn and want to keep it that way. No photos. Sent many through the years with no changes.

i hired them to aerate and seed my front and back yard. When they came they aerated my front yard but also aerated my neighbors front yard with out their permission but never threw seed. During this same visit they never aerated my back yard. I called they said they would send someone out to do back yard. when they came the second time the tech informed me he couldnt go in back because his machine was to big which he said he had told them first time he was here. While he was here he called his boss who told him he could not fix my neighbors yard that the neighbor had to call and tell them to come out and fix it. My neighbor is a 90 yr old stoke patient who has a live in aid not sure how they wanted him to call to explain how they ruined his yard when this poor man cant even take care of himself. at this second visit i was informed they would send a tech out with a smaller aerator well today they were suppose to be here to do back i got a text from them saying service was completed when i got home from work i could clearly tell the gate had never been moved to be opened and when i went into my back yard yet again the third time no aeration and seeding was done. i dont understand the work ethic of this company and unfortunately i prepaid for my service. called ;yet again and left complain and someone is suppose to call me but i am still waiting from the call i was suppose to receive over a week ago i now plan on driving to their office and demanding a refund i want to cancel all service with them because clearly they are a shady company who lies about services being completed and could care less about their customers does this look like a yard that was aerated the soil is compacted and clearly not aerated

These guys are terrific. They came right out and sprayed within days of reaching out. They are professional and always show up.

They came out to perform weed service, only sprayed my front lawn and left. Spoke to an advisor and was told they would come back out for free which they did and sprayed one side of my house. So my front lawn and one side of my house were sprayed but my backyard and other side were not. Terrible experience.

Had my first service and treatment with TruGreen, the service guy (Samuel Jacobsfaison) came to my house on time the new app that tracked his truck is excellent. He was very knowledgeable and took his time for about 1 hour to explain the 1st treatment he was applying to my front and back yard. I know my grass isn t going to look like a picture in a magazine only after 1 treatment BUT I do believe buy the end of the summer I will see a difference and as of right now I will retain TruGreen service for next summer 2020. But we will take it one treatment at a time. There s 8 treatments total for my lawn, one is done and 7 more to go. I hope this review is helpful, if not at least it s the truth and no this isn t a paid advertisement, TruGreen has not cut me a check at all for this review (Facts).

This is the second year I use true green, my lawn looks awesome, they are punctual, they know what they re doing and they are willing to come out anytime between visits if the lawn needs an extra spray. 100% Recommended!!!

This is just wrong to charge and do a below par work... > The guy rang the bell by the time I opened the door... he was back to the truck .... i told him the gate is open to access the back....i went back in to get my phone and go talk to him... > I was hoping to talk and ask what the first service included... if there is any recommendations...could not ... because they were gone in under a minute.... > The note on the door says ... we missed you.... not true.....i was home i opened the door for them .... > why such rush ????... this is no way to handle new customers.... > The property as a whole is 2125 Sqr.ft .... excluding the home area.. the lawn that is three parts ... is around 1000-1100 sqr foot.... why are you saying you sprayed on 2300+ sqr.ft on the note.... > they did the front and only one half of the back ...... what about the second half...??? you can see that patch from the front of the house, there is a deck in the back that separates it... but how did you miss that ....they completely missing it....so i was hoping to tell him that ..but he was gone... > I called right way that morning.. and was told the machine used to spray covers 1000 sqr foot in under a minute so it does not take long....the customer service said they will call back to address the concern.. no call > later in the evening there was a call to charge for the service(Glad i opted for Easy pay)...Way to go fellas ..... I again asked if i could speak to someone and was told.. that i will get a call back....... where is my call..... DO YOU WANT MY BUSINESS ???

I am really not sure what I should post but I do know that I question the amount of fertilizer that is applied. I don t know if I am happy with their service and will update my review as the season goes along. I fired them!

I wish there was a zero star for me to put it for rating. Total scam. They dont provide any services. We learned that the guy used to come sit in his trunk and not spray our grass. We called customer service and spoke to rachel in the customer service manager department and she not only had no clue but didnt care. I had beautiful grass and healthy trees before i used their service now my grass is filled with holes and weed. DONT USE THEIR SERVICES

Great results and prices. It does required homeowner participation in mowing and irrigation. Seeding and fertilization brought my lawn back.

Worst service ever! If you want to keep your lawn looking pristine then I recommend applying products from your local nursery or garden center. This company applies the minimum generic products on your lawn. My home was serviced for 2 years and my lawn looked terrible; this year I consulted with a local landscaper and applied everything myself. My lawn looks amazing now! Also if youre unsatisfied with their services there is no money back guaranteed. They will still charge you and continue to harass you until you pay them for a subpar service. The worst company and service ever! Stay away and save your money!

They quoted us a price for the year then charged us 4 different charges that total more than double the amount they quoted originally. We canceled the service and asked for a refund. They still sent someone for first visit and did not refund us until we I disputed the charge via my credit card company. Only then did they refund the amount, but still charged for the visit that was done despite our canceling of the service. This matches with many of the reviews I am seeing, so watch out and dont use them.

Poor service the made my lawn worst then it was did not come to correct the problem

this company does not even deserve 1 star, i clicked 1 star so i can go to the next steps. in june 26 their specialist michael carter came to spray my lawn with something that burnt most of my lawn and up to this writing they were not able and not willing to fix it. Horrible company.... do not hire them... they will ruin your lawn and your life.

We contracted with true green to have our yard sprayed to prevent Mosquitoes and Ticks. The product works, but truegreen failed to do our complete yard. Truegreen did promise us a Free Treatment, but has yet to show. We have been receiving text messages all morning as to where the tech is, but while he was scheduled to be in our yard between 7am - 12PM. It is now 12;38PM and we have not heard a Peep. The tech even has our cell, yet fails to respond. The local office also fails to respond. For this I must give truegreen 1 Star at best. Seriously SHOP ANOTHER COMPANY!

TruGreen is great. For the last 10 years my lawn was probably the worst on my block. With a little help from true green I now have the second best lawn and shooting for # 1 this spring! Reasonably priced, any weed growth or trouble spots they come out and service right away. I got the discounted package with the aeration and couldn t be happier! I will prepay this year and receive the additional discount... TruGreen is like clockwork. Download the app and enjoy!!

Worst company. Hired them last year for lawn service, Ones I was home when guy came, I saw him from my window - he sat in his truck for 20 mins talking on phone got of his truck after 20 mins sprayed some solution on JUST outside perimeter of my lawn and left. Do not hire these thieves, they only care about their money zero for service. Eventually I ended up with deal lawn because of them.

Absolutely relentless sales calls. I called for a quote and said Ill think about it. Within 10 days Ive gotten at least 6-8 calls from them and have repeatedly told them to take them off my list. Ive had it. Ill be calling the state in the morning to report them. Lisa and Joanne from the Wayne franchise are the two who have called the most, both will be reported.

Such a bad customer service. Sales person doesn t know how to speak with customer. I ask for quotation person give me price. I just call me tomorrow and we make a deal. He started screaming if u change ur mind i have to waste my time. U need time so u can shop around. Really worst customer service. Customer have right to look up there price.

Prepaid for a year long treatment. They came out for the first treatment of weeds and to fertilize. Missed two subsequent appointments without calling. Also, we waited over two weeks for a mosquito treatment and they never showed, again without calling. The lawn is still full of weeds. Very disappointed and we cancelled the service.

Do not use do not use do not use. My grass looks absolutely terrible. It is all crabgrass and I even have full spots of just dirt!!!! We cannot even use our backyard. I called customer service to file a complaint and to tell them I do not want to be charged for services anymore. I was told by a customer service representative that the service to fix the lawn would be free and that a manager would call. A week later I see a 125 dollar charge to my credit card and I never heard from a manager. They would only reverse 1/2 the charge and my lawn will not be fixed. Never in my life have I experienced such poor customer service. If you get your hair cut and you don t like it, the hair salon fixes it for free. If your lawn gets messed up, apparently you get charged over 100 dollars.

Trugreen is the worst company in lawn care that there is. NEVER EVER USE THEM!!!! Their workers are not trained properly and do not know about the products they are using. They treat their employees the worst and the company only cares about having a large customer base rather then actually caring about the customers and the service they are providing. Simply ask a technician the next time they are on your lawn to explain the products to you and how they work. Chances are they wont be able to. They will apply in the pouring rain knowing that weed control doesnt work in the rain. That you need a day with no rain for the weed control to actually be effective. Please please stay away from this company. They only care about providing service at the cheapest they can. Believe me when I tell you, THERE IS A REASON THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST! YOU ARE GETTING EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAY FOR FROM THE WORST COMPANY THAT THERE IS!!!! Stay away!!!!!!!!

AGREED!!!! THIS IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. I ALSO PREPAID FOR A FULL SEASON OF SERVICE AND IT IS NOW GOING TO COST ME AN ADDITIONAL 800 DOLLARS TO HAVE A REAL COMPANY COME OUT AERATE THE ENTIRE LAWN, SEED AND TOP SOIL. MY LAWN LOOKS WORSE THAN IT EVER DID. THE EMPLOYEES ARE RANDOM GUYS WHO PROBABLY GO THROUGH A FEW HOURS OF TRAINING AND HAVE NO IDEA ON WHAT TO DO. SCAM!....no wonder they have lawsuit upon lawsuit filed against them.... We wanted to try them out, and contacted them. Got a hold of a rep - George - turns out he sits in Texas(??)....he gives us an offer for aeration and power-seeding. Ok, and they get their $$.....- we got nothing!!... A week later, we wanted to speak with him: turns out, we cant!! - they dont have a number you can call...say what?? We call 3 locations, no one knows anything about George in Texas...hhmmmm . Never have I heard of a company you can not call!!! After emailing him, wanting to set up a date for the treatment, he calls us, and we agree on the 10th. My husband calls the local office the day prior, to confirm, and the receptionist confirms the 15th. No, no, no....we had our lawn cut, in preparation of this, and now THEY decide that the date has changed, WITHOUT letting us know. I think not. So, after another email, to George, he calls us, and says sorry for the hiccup. Hiccup??.- no, YOUR skrewup!. So George tells us theyll come tomorrow. We come home, and find a slip on the door, letting us know that the tech had been here, made a lawn analyst and had made the first treatment with fertilizer and weed control. First of all, I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THAT. Second, I have two cameras in front of my house and they only recorded a van, guy walking up to the house, to handg a slip on the door. HE DID NOTHING TO THE LAWN..... Now, supposedly, theyll come tomorrow for the actual job....well, we shall see.. Since I paid for this treatment, Ill wait for it, but the lost a potential customer, and future business.....

I would never recomend or use trugreen they destroyed my yard n they have no communication among themselves & u never get a chance to talk to the same person.

Good company but the walk in clinic referred to me for a DOT physical was a joke.

The worst decision I could ever make one start is to much for my rating having so much offers from others companies I choose TRUEGREEN thinking big name big reputation, better results , nothing was accomplice the way it was planed and offer after 3 applications my lawn was full of weeds. thats not all, my grass started to die in some areas, and every time I try to reach for a supervisor the answer was always hes not available or hes on a meeting when I try to get someone with a higher rank I was told hell get back to me from 24-48 hours so far its been almost a week and none of them have try to reach DEFINITELY WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYBODY avoid this people

The morons from TruGreen walked directly through freshly poured cement to hang a flyer on the door. They ruined the walkway with the scuffs and footprints they left behind. Unfortunately when this was brought to their attention they denied it, and even hung up the phone without taking any responsibility. I have no idea how good their lawn-care service work is, but after this fiasco I will most certainly be taking my business elsewhere. Especially if this incident is any indication of how their customer service team handles problems and complaints. I encourage you to seek other options as well.

The lawn looks very good. The Tru Green specialist spoke with my wife since I was not home. He was very gracious and professional. He did his application promptly and with care. My wife and I believe it is well worth the cost of lawn care with TruGreen.

Ever since they teamed up with Scotts the quality of the service has gone down drastically!! I had Scotts and my lawn was very green and healthy , now it looks terrible and full of weeds. Not happy at all with true green.

Excellent service William is a great guy

After two and a half years of having TruGreen work on my lawn, it looks worse than ever before. They burnt my grass with there chemicals, never came back to repair the damage. I have tons of crabgrass, various weeds and bare spots..The aeration and over seeding is a waste. Management never called to help fix my problems until I canceled them..no follow through skills at all..sad..

TruGreen is a joke. They promise to come out and spray your lawn 6 times per summer. They visited 3 times in the summer and then once in September and twice in October to try and make up for it. I recommend finding a different lawn care provider, one that actually helps your lawn. My lawn was half dead and covered with weeds once they were done with it.
