Hanson's Landscaping in Waukesha

Hanson's landscaping is competitively priced and really good at getting in and getting the work done on a tight time table. They were even very responsive to replacing a tree that didn't survive the initial planting. However, despite these merits , the delivery and quality of the work hasn't been worth the price or the hassle for me. I hired Hansons to seed a new build's lawn and tacked on watering services to ensure the grass came in under the watchful eye of landscaping professionals. I also had them plant 3 trees and install mulched garden beds around the perimeter of my house. I've spent a little over a year now reaching out to them about the bare spots in my lawn from inadequate seeding and needing to relocate a tree that was placed in an easement. Every time I have reached out, I was promised they would be coming out to address these issues and others but no one shows up. This review comes at the end of my patience. I'm disappointed that another season has come and gone and for whatever reason I am not able to get the same level of service that many of these other customers have received.

Joe was always accommodating, listening to our thoughts, and making sure the project was a success. The crew was professional, on time every day, and extremely hard-working. The site was particularly challenging for them, but they were up to the task and when issues arose the team produced solutions. They were a pleasure to work with. The landscape project included three separate walled areas that included: hot tub, fire pit, and grill station, nestled between tress and an existing elevated patio. We love the outcome and will enjoy this oasis for years to come! We highly recommend Joe Hanson and his team. Thank you!

They did a great job with designing a fire pit & adding to our current patio with concrete pavers & then a border trim around patio. Nick & his crew did a wonderful job. Nick pays great attention to detail. Then they added decorative stone & plants to our front yard border around the house. Then to show how they work to please the customer, they had put in stone that was the right color but the wrong size. We wanted large which we saw at the Franklin Halquist & they picked up at Sussex location & they only sell small size. So they pulled out the top layer of the stones & put in the large ones that we originally requested. That was definitely showing their dedication to making sure the customer was satisfied. I highly recommend their work. They do a great job & that is seen by their long waiting lists. Joe is great to work with & make sure you start early in the year to have them come out for an estimate. 110% Recommend this company for your landscaping needs. We needed to have a retaining wall built in our backyard and they did an incredible job!! Beautiful wall, team was amazing, professional and so easy to work with. They took great care in trying to not disturb our lawn as best as possible and they left the area in pristine condition. They replanted our lawn where they needed to. We will definitely call Hanson’s again when we need any other landscaping work.

This was the easiest, most pleasant experience we have ever had while working on our home. Joe and his crew did a FANTASTIC job with our mess of a yard. It was a big project and it turned out even better than we had hoped. We have 2 large dogs and they knew that it would be a rough winter for us without a functioning backyard. They squeezed us in right before Christmas at the first sign of decent weather. It was unexpected but SO appreciated. They worked so quickly and efficiently and did a great job. There was plenty of communication and their prices are very fair and reasonable. We were impressed and would definitely recommend them without any hesitation.
