Could have been better. The front door glass (storm) was sprayed extensively to the point I couldn t see out of it . Just minutes after I had cleaned it .

Utilized Spring Green for lawn care. They seemed to do an okay job for fertilization. However, their weed control is lacking. They do not utilize a pre-emergent and missed my whole backyard when spraying for weeds in late spring. Customer service call took over 20 minutes which is the time it would take me to do the job myself. I chose to cancel service.

I had one hiccup with Spring Green when I started service but was immediately resolved. When I started service, my lawn in the front was in shambles due 2 droughts and complete crab grass infestation. I have been getting the fertilizer and weed control service which I combined with my own tenacity coating. Within 2 months, front lawn weeds are toast and my grass is coming back big time. Now I am patching bad spots and by end of fall front lawn will be back in business. Back lawn has been solid but with their solution its way more plush and green. I spoke with employee who does my lawn and I found him to be helpful and provide additional feedback to get my lawn going quicker. Overall, super happy with these guys but u gotta do your part in combination to ensure a great lawn.

Recently bought a new home and moved from out of state. My last career was as a licensed spray tech and I hold a horticulture degree with 7 years experience in the field. My husband was also the operations manager of a landscaping company so Weare passionate and extremely knowledgeable about grass and the processes. I saw the ratings were subpar at best, but figured because I can articulate what I want really well it wouldnt be an issue seeing as I only needed 1 application of liquid fert. Once on the phone to book I realized they use a call center so she couldnt tell me NPK content, couldnt tell me exactly which products were being used, ect. So, I said just have the tech talk to be BEFORE putting anything down and she said she would include it in our notes. Well the tech came and knocked, but I missed it being in the shower and came out to see him laying granular on the lawn so I went out and flagged him down saying there was a mistake because I had requested liquid fert and to be spoken to first. He said the call center and techs dont exchange notes so there was a miscommunication, but that hed mark down what I wanted for next time. OK fine whatever, he had to finish or else lawn would be streaky. 2nd application same thing they didnt talk to me and just went ahead and did granular again?? My husband then called and they said there was no notes on our file about my request and basically tried to sell him on a 7 application process!! Omg yall homeowners are being RIPPED OFF. At most 3 applications will do. So then I sent a message saying I would like to cancel my service and got a phone call today aboit what the problem was. I explained my background and what I requested only to be mansplained to about how fertilizer works and that they never guarantee liquid fertilizer due to weather. I was never told that they would simply just put something else down if it was drizzling. Again I was a spray tech and as long as its not pouring you can lay liquid. I realized the conversation was going nowhere fast and said if you cant give me exactly what I want and just say yes mam then cancel my service. So he canceled it, but then wanted me to pay the balance for 2 services I DID NOT ASK FOR. And I have the techs on my security cams not even reaching the property line so Ill have big streaks in my yard...-100/10 do not use

I only want tick and flea. Spring Green requires 4 treatments at 189.00 for 1 acre. You may get deal on 1st treatment. Added, when I had a small lawn that was acidic they could not fix it, I hired them for 2 years. Luckily moved. Tru green will do 3 treatments half price for 1st one and 203 for each additional Go with true green for a la Cart services. . Ticks are less active later due to article I read. Only use spring green for small lawns. Im truly disappointed.

They killed my grass and never came out to look at the damage. At the end of each season they raise their fee 30% and every year you have to call and complain to get the fee lowered.

Steve is our lawn maintenance tech. He is very knowledgable, respectful and courteous. A true asset to Spring-Green Lawn care. The service gets results.

Their technician never talked to us. Just left the paperwork for the assessment and the completion. Assessed and charged me for front and back yard. After the first appointment, had to call customer service to confirmed they did not do back- back and forth because customer rep kept insisting that they may have even though we were home and could tell. Several customer service calls, sent complaint - no response. Was told that back that was left full of weeds because we wanted it that way. Cancelled service and asked for money back.

If you want your grass to be either killed or filled with weeds you should pick this company for your services.

Signed up for a prepay contract for 1 year. Was supposed to get a free core aeration with that deal. I was told it is too late in the season and it will be done first thing next season. I chose not to renew my contract, yet they still sent technicians out. On at least 3 occasions, I received a robo-call to say my core aeration would be performed later in the week. All 3 times it was canceled. I have chose to not pay for the 3 undesired visits, hoping they would reach out to me and I could let them know they would be paid for as soon as I got my core aeration, that was technically more than a year past due. Spring green chose not to reach out, but instead send the $180 to collections. Abysmal customer service and relations. The only positive thing I can say is that the first tech that came out was very professional and informative.

Had to stop service for a second time since they only apply their fertilizer to a small portion of my lawn. I watched as the tech went in my yard and out of my yard in a minute while covering a small fraction of the lawn. Fired them and doing it myself now.

Avoid at all costs!!! Used them for a couple of years and always prepaid to get a better deal. They would call before each application to notify us they would be there the next day. Had an occasional issue here and there, fertilizer was bumped in one spot and killed lawn, weeds would come back after the application, even after the recommend wait time. Come this year (2021) we choose to not use their service anymore. The tech showed up onsite without any notification and applied a treatment. There was no agreement nor notification. Zero communication, they sent in email back in December asking if we wanted to renew our service and prepay. The email went to the junk box. Hopefully the lawn is not damaged as an application was already applied. We will see. They had the nerve to call and say that I am responsible for that application and said the price has significantly increased. If you use their service cancel immediately there are many other better companies in the area, TruGreen, Sebert Landscaping, or even a dog could fertilize the lawn better than them. On their site it states satisfaction guarantee or your money back, HA HA HA, ya right.

engaged Spring Green for my lawn care this spring . I paid for the season up front (received a discount for doing so). Unfortunately that was several weeks ago and I have yet to hear from them nor have they shown up. I have sent emails to Scott Fitzgerald, Manager of Spring-Green Lawn Care in Wauconda (main office told me he was over this area when I called them) never heard back and got a response . Thankfully I put it on a charge card so I can cancel the payment, be warned. Update received a call from Spring Green saying they would be out for service the next day (the 13th) have not seen or heard from anyone. Called the 800 number again and have not heard a word since..

Ditto to the message Avoid at all costs Their terms of service states, they will make it right if not happy, well they dont - not even a return call. Yard burnt. Funny thing, the yard knows the property lines - I did have a beautiful lawn prior to last service

I started service with spring green last year at a great price. When I signed up for services I was assured that the prices would not increase without me being notified and if they did I would be contacted prior to start of the following season. That was not the case. They continued service and I payed the same price from the previous year but at the end of the year I received an invoice of a payment due. When I reached out to them I was told that the rates did increase and they acknowledged they didn t contact me about rate change. They did discount the remainder of my balance but I still had a due amount on my account. I would not recommend them due to misleading business practices.

Ive been using Spring Green for the past 4 years. I didnt expect any miracles during the first 1-2 years as the lawn didnt have much, if any, weed control prior to hiring a professional. The last couple years have been about average. You pay a good chuck of $$ for the lawn care (now its around $500 for the year) and my lawn looks just about the same as everyone else - average. If I just wanted average I wouldve used another service that was cheaper or did it on my own. Updating my review 1 year later. Price has increased but service hasnt. Ive left multiple feedbacks about my disappointment and it seems that the manager doesnt care. I havent received one call back from Scott the manager in Wauconda. Count me out for being a customer. Looking for a better option for the 22 season.

In just 2 seasons, lawn results have been really satisfactory . 1st season, I ordered the whole feeding program and I could have been out there twice a week cutting. Really establish a strong lawn. This year, cut back on visits with satisfying results.

WORST of the WORST. Would not recommend to ANYONE. I am a new customer and had to call numerous times to find out the status of my technician. No one would return my phone call and after asking to speak to a manager, Katherine K rudely disconnected the call after telling me that the tech could not service our property because of other workers at our home. No one was ever on our property and both my husband and I were at home. What a waste of my time. Never again.

This company killed our lawn. When i called and asked somelne to look at it I received an inspection report 2 hours after I made the call. How can that be. The report said my lawn was average even though its gone, down to the hard dirt. Checked the ring cameras front and back, guess what, no person ever showed up at my house to do a inspection. What a scam, please do not use this company. You have a better chance of figuring it out by yourself.

Weve used services before, with only modest results and frustration...so we made the decision this this year with a bit of skepticism. At the end of the day though, it is always the people providing the service that make the difference. We love our local team, and particularly the number of people that have come to our home to do the work. Without question, the manager/owner of the local office is hiring and leading a great team and deserves to be recognized for that. Thank you!
