Bill and his 3 member crew did our LEAF cleanup in FALL of 2023...a great performance by his TEAM. The worst experience I’ve ever had with an auto repair shop! I had my car towed there after it started idling roughly and didn’t have the power to drive down the road. After two weeks of waiting for the right part to come in and then having to replace another part, we got our car back and it did turn on and drive down the road again. Only our radio, outlets, and one headlight are now not working all of a sudden… At first we reached out to the mechanic and he said it could be the fuse box or wires that were messed up and blamed it on mice… We checked everything he suggested and it all looked good. I called the shop and as soon as I mentioned what car I’m calling about, the guy got really defensive and said all of these new issues were caused by us working on our car before we brought it in. The dash did throw an electronic throttle body light so we replaced the throttle body and spark plugs. Nothing changed after that, so the engine was still idling weirdly but everything else was working! Radio, outlets, headlights, everything would turn on and work like normal UNTIL we picked up our car from Grass Eaters. Another red flag was that we got two different stories from the mechanic and service writer about what was done to our car. I would save yourself the time and stress by finding a shop that actually values their customers and is honest and knowledgeable about the work they’re doing.
Just want to publicly say Thank you to the Owner Bruce. They had a mower of mine that came up missing. Bruce went above and beyond and bought me a brand new machine. He paid 574 for it. He stands by his service and I am very pleased! Thank you Grass Eaters!!!!!
I brought my vehicle in for an inspection sticker. We had been a customer of theirs previously. I was told it did not pass and that it needed rear brake pads and rotors. I knew this was not true and questioned the guy and he shrugged and said I needed them and it would be around $225.00 . I left and we brought it to another mechanic we use and he took it for a ride and spent a good amount of time looking it over and there was nothing found that would prevent us from getting a sticker and we got one no problem. Just because I am a woman does not mean you can lie and make up repairs to try and make more money. I have had bad brake pads and rotors in the past,I know how it feels and sounds and my vehicle is just fine. Won't be giving them business again!
They do my Fall clean up as well as my Winter plowing. I know that I can depend on them. If I ask them to do something it gets done. When I refer someone they are always pleased as well. I started with a lawnmower repair that was expertly done at a fair price. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.
This place is horrible. Bought what I thought was 2.0t hyundai. took it to my shop, not a turbo. these guys are shady. i bought this car for 7k and have already put another 7k into it in six months. they tried to modify the exhaust before they sold it and messed it all up. I will never ever buy here and recommend you run as far as you can. oh and they also ruined my ac. if i could give negative stars i would. horrible place.
Pre approved cash money through the bank. They never returned a call. Previously had a great experience with our purchase with grass eaters. We decided to keep it and just out right purchase our new suv. Thanks anyways. Happy with our final decision
I brought my daughters vehicle here so that they could have it checked out to ensure it is safe. They did work on the BMW and she picked up vehicle and in about an hour and a half the brake lights came on. She called this mechanic three times and each time he told her it was OK to keep driving. He said unless the brakes are dragging it is fine. She said I don’t know how to tell if that happened,he said you would know. It’s ok to drive he says, The next call I get is her frantic because the car is on fire. Literally in flames and the fire department came! SIR looks like the brakes probably were dragging!! The belongings in the car melted she was just lucky to get out safe. The car is totaled and he told her to keep driving he should take some accountability! I should get my money back minimally! Poor quality and does not stand behind their work. They kept making excuses that the owner was busy but he would definitely call back.I wish I could put the pictures of that car burning in this review, Go to yelp if you want to see the pictures. Awful maybe stick just to lawn work to keep people safe besides the grass will grow back. This vehicle will not be coming back it is in the scrapyard!

Very nice people. They are always quick to answer and get me in to help me with whatever problem I m experiencing. Have not had a problem with them yet. They are my go to!
I used grass eaters for plowing and lawn care in the waterville and Winslow area and they provided horrible service. The lawn care was terrible. They would mow right over obvious flower beds even tho they were instructed not to do that. They had no regard for vehicles and would blow rocks and grass into vehicles parked at the residence. Plowing was also subpar. They would plow some apartments and then completely miss others. They would plow when there was a light dusting of snow like and inch or less and try to charge me every chance they could. I called to ask them to plow a drive way that was never plowed during the storm on jan 29th/30th 2022 and I spoke with patsy. She demanded to have my credit card number so she could charge me before they even plowed. She then said, your a horrible payer the truth is they lack the competence to send out a proper invoice with the description or the location of the service provided so you just get a random bill a month later and have no idea what its for or what property its for. Ive explained to them there needs to be more detail in the invoice so I can properly file them for the correct rental property during tax season. Ive paid every bill with them every time I get an invoice but today I was treated horribly. Patsy lacks professionalism and the competence to creste and send out a proper billing statement. I dont think she knows what shes doing. The company would benefit if they leanred to pay attention to detail, listened to customers needs and had somone who is professional and proficient in the billing department. Dont use them if you want good service and to be treated with respect. Pool tech in Winslow seems to do a great job.
They were absolutely amazing! They were able to get us in last minute and did a fantastic job. Plus theyre prices were reasonable.

Dont pay upfront or you will have to beg them to work on ur car to get it back. They do horrible work. Never will take my truck there again. Thinking about calling the better business bureau about this its that bad.
Grass eaters has been doing my lawn for a few years now and does a good job. This review is for the plowing I had them do. My snowblower was in the shop for repairs so I called grass eaters. They came out the same night and I was very impressed with the job! Will definitely use them again as needed!! Thanks guys!

I came here to get an alignment on my subaru, I waited over n he and then wasnt happy with how it felt. I went to tire warehouse in skowhegan and they side my rear tires were never adjusted.

Do not ever buy a car here they sold me a lemon and will not come good for it had to hire attorney.the timing was bad..after they said they changed it. They have extremely poor customer service...the owner actually punched my window on my friends car...there nice to your face then they stab you in the back

My husband and I recently purchased an SUV from this establishment. The first morning we went out to start the vehicle, it didn t start. Wouldn t even crank. I m sure most people would ve been absolutely livid, I wasn t. When you re buying a used vehicle, you can t expect to get all the bells and whistles. Unfortunately, they don t know much more about the vehicle than you do. Of course checking the vehicle for inspectability, but things can happen. We called them right up and they without questions replaced the battery & then the alternator as it was still having issues. Again, still would not start so was sent to Hights Chevrolet 2x s. Ultimately determined it was a bad transformer with the front stereo system. With newer vehicles and the computer system, one bad wire can mess with everything. We are very pleased with their determination to fix the issue. They even came and got the vehicle and dropped it off, once it was fixed. We love our vehicle. I believe they go above and beyond for their customers and want them to be satisfied with their purchase. Even with the hiccup we are very satisfied. Will edit if anything further arises, but I would do business with them again in the future. Also wanted to note that I know several other establishments in the area, that recommended them to us for our needs. Thanks again for the great service. Lindsey

This place is the best place to order landscaping and Lawncare to me. I love how inexpensive the products are and the staff are super friendly and one of the places to go to get the goods you need and get your lawncare needs tended.

My fiancé and I bought a vehicle from this business. Bruce and Julie Salsbury. It was our first time buying a vehicle with payments on it, they talked it all up and sold it to us. The second day we had it, the airbag lights were on, the windshield wipers wouldnt work and the headlight bulb was blown. Called Bruce, he had it sent to heights so they could fix it. We got it back, the airbag lights were still on and the headlight bulb didnt get fixed because Bruce didnt want to pay for it. About a week later, I go out to leave for work and the thing doesnt start.. doesnt even try headlights dont work just... dead. Has it sent to heights again, they said it was an ignition wire and replaced it. It happens again so at this point with a baby weve decided this is an unsafe vehicle and request our money back. They ignored us for a week until we offered to take them to court. So they took the vehicle back and kept our $2000. We were a young family and they took advantage of us, Im stuck driving the vehicle I was prior to all this because I fear going through the same thing and they took my 2k. Not genuine people, they didnt want to do the right thing at all. Really too bad.
