A Cut Above Landscape in Watertown

I have done business with A Cut Above for over 20 years. I began with snow plowing when Justin was just back and starting this business. 20 plus years later, and A Cut Above does all of my plowing and all of my lawn/landscaping needs for my house and a couple of others in my care. The job, whatever it is , is done correctly with pride and if there happens to be an issue, it is resolved right away, with no hassles. In spring and summer I get the chance to speak with some of the crew, and I have to say, they are all nice, kind, professional people, and they do whatever I ask of them. I guess the biggest testament I can give is that they have worked for me for over 20 years!!!! Give them a try!!!

Seen these guys plowing out businesses and felt sorry for the businesses serviced by them mediocre at best

We have been using cut above for a few years. They always do a great job and the employees are very friendly. We have our grass cut and edged every week. They also do a good job getting my yard and flowerbeds ready for the winter and the same for the spring start up.

Update: I used them for spring yard clean up and bed mulching and tilling of a couple large hills in my yard. They were phenomenal! The guys were so thorough with my yard, clearing out every single stray twig. The mulch looks fabulous and they finished in just under two days! Everyone here is so incredibly nice and clearly take pride in their work. I will without a doubt have them handle my annual yard work from here on out. Cannot recommend them enough! I recently moved to the area and was looking for snow plow services. Unfortunately they do not service my address for snow removal, but Lydia at the front desk went above and beyond to help get me recommendations for other companies. They were nice, respectful, and incredibly helpful. I will definitely be using them for landscaping come spring. Good, honest folks here!

Youre snowplowing & walk shoveling services were excellent because you had our driveway and walk cleared out by 8am on Snowdays. You & your staff provide excellent snowplowing, lawnmowing as well as Spring & Fall clean up services.

The team from A Cut Above installed a new bluestone patio and repaired a stack stone wall. They are a professional organization (answer the phone, provide estimates, and show up on-time) and most important...the quality of work was excellent.

Ben took down many old cedars on our lakeshore property and also got rid of two large trees that could have demoed our garage. After the job they left everything neat and clean. Professional, prompt, I could not have asked for more.

Planted a tree for me two yrs ago. The guys were very nice and did a great job esp with the equipment. They made sure to clean up everything before they had left. They will be coming again this Spring to redo all of my landscaping for me. Highly recommend.

Horrible company and employees

Worst snow removal Ive ever dealt with. Theyll put the snow right where you dont want them to making a mess, blocking entrances and creating a liability.

The owner came to plow my driveway. He pushed the snow right up to the back of my vehicle so I couldn t get out. Was their first time coming here and didn t even bother to ask what I would like done. I had to shovel for 20 minutes to get out of my driveway. When I called to ask them to return to finish the half done job they told me they aren t interested in doing the job at all and to find someone else. Terrible service and zero professionalism! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Great company Ive been doing this for years in the finger lakes in the finger lakes area for 13 yrs and its great seeing the matched quality for Watertown ny! Also a great boss!

We use A Cut Above year-round for snow removal and lawn care. Although we had a mild winter without much snow, they plowed our driveway each time we got roughly 3 inches, including multiple times in a day. They made an initial visit to mark the driveway with wooden posts for visibility during deep snowfall. The only downside is that you still pay the full monthly expense even if it doesnt snow. The lawn care is very punctual,on a routine schedule and time so far and were extremely impressed with the quality as compared to other companies weve used prior. Their prices are slightly higher than competitors but I do believe that the lawn care is definitely worth it.
