Cedar Valley Lawn Care in Waterloo

Cedar Valley Landscape took on an extremely difficult, complex project and did it within the estimation they’d given us and within the time limit expected. They were timely every single day, worked long days in very hot, humid weather, were very professional, knowledgeable about any questions we posed to them, were friendly, and the tidiest group of guys at a worksite we’d ever seen. Every day before they left, they’d clear up all their tools and equipment, would pick up any trash or scraps from packaging, leftover tiles or hoses, and would clean off our sidewalks and driveway, etc. leaving our yard looking nice and tidy. We couldn’t be happier with Cedar Valley Landscape and if we could, we’d give them ten stars instead of the five we’re restricted to. Karo and George

James, Randy, and their entire team are always quick to respond to whatever we need. They’re our go-to for anything plowing or grading at our shop. Highly recommend these guys.

James and his team have done several projects for us and have always been incredibly professional, nice, and timely. Highly recommend!

Posted negative reviews are accurate. CVLC is just interested in taking on work that has an immediate payoff. Only "customer friendly" when it works for them. A disappointing reflection of ownership and a sad trend in small business services.

Called to get someone out to inject my ash trees and they acted like they would come out the next week. Never came out. Texted the gentleman I had talked to over the phone and he never responded. Will not waste my time with this business again. Seemed nice on the phone. If you are busy and don't expect to help someone, just tell them that. Don't lead people on that you are a business that cares. I wouldn't of even left a review if you said you are too busy and won't be able to make it out, be honest and professional.

Estimator called to set up an appointment to meet on a Wednesday. I showed up, he did not. I waited 20 minutes and called to let him know that I was leaving and I thought maybe we had mis-communicated the time, and to give me a call to reschedule. Never received a call back.

I had them mow my lawn for me due to my mower needing a repair. He asked for my card numbers over the phone and told my it would be $76/ hour that’s fine it only takes me less than an hour to do my lawn with none commercial equipment so it should take them more than an hour... right. I talked to the guy that did my lawn and he told me it took him 1 hour and 5 mins.. cool it won’t cost me a lot then.. until I looked at my bank account and seen they pulled $336 to mow my little yard!! Yes $336!! I called them for 5 days and they won’t respond to me I was told a couple times he would look into it and call me back and never did!! Still have no refund and no response!

Best lawn care in the Cedar Valley hands down, I've had several companies take care of my lawn and they are hands down the best. Weed control has been amazing ever since I switched to them and on top of that the customer service is even better. Highly recommend.
