I pre-paid for 6 applications and now we are rolling into the end of Summer and only 3 applications have been applied. I ve had to call to arrange my 3rd application, because it s been 6 weeks since my last application. Then on the 4th application they cancelled, the day of and again no one called me to reschedule. I ve called 3 times to arrange the 4th application and no one responds. They re not coming in time during the season and no one answers the phone at the Waterford branch. When you pre-pay nearly $1,000 for 6 applications, you would hope they would adhere to their contract. I won t be renewing my contract.

Brad the route manager (door to door salesman) didnt use my driveway or sidewalk, he just walked through my yard. He rang the doorbell and it woke up my napping baby. There are no soliciting signs in our neighborhood but these people come around once a month. Stop coming to my house.

Hi TruGreen, I have several items that I want to share with you. 1. We had our first visit which was timely based on the texts we received. The visit was to spray for weeds and to fertilize the lawn. He was professional and polite. 2. Our package included 7 visits with a guarantee that the lawn would be raked. I would like to know what will be done and general time line for the 7 visits. Specifically when the lawn will be raked. 3. We paid with a card and never received a receipt for what we purchased. 4. I was concerned that the moss hanging from my bottlebrush tree might bring on its demise so I called Tru Green. Amy arrived at my property and looked at the tree. She informed me that the Moss would not kill it and further noted that moss does use nutrients. Hence, she advised me to ask my groundskeeper to remove the moss at his next visit

Talked to Hugh about problems with my lawn. He was very friendly and personable. He said his notes showed that only the front lawn should be treated which is incorrect. He said he would do the whole lawn and update his notes. He also said he would follow up with his manager about my lawn issues and getting a detailed lawn assessment as to what else can be done besides normal treatments to improve my lawn.

Weve been loyal customers w/ Tru Green for decades. When we moved into new house in Farmington Hills the lawn we got was a massive field of weeds & crab grass, it had been neglected for years but after only one consultation w/ Tru Green technicians they knew exactly what had to be done to bring back to healthy life and boy did it ever! If Ive ever had any issues w/ weeds popping up in between services theyll come out right away to solve it at no charge. We really enjoy their customer service, I can log onto site anytime & chat virtually w/ any questions or reschedule my service. Many thanks to them & all the staff. Keep up the good work folks!

Their toxic diesel trucks cause more pollution than they are worth. Would be nice if they didnt drive around polluting the air with their diesel trucks, and leaving them running while they fertilize. Maybe the grass is green, but the air is gray.

Horrible horrible company. Paid service for 2 years and my lawn got worse. Even after you cancel, they will keep sending someone to service your lawn to force you to pay. Call Top lawn, they will take care of your lawn the way it s suppose to be instead of finding ways to take money from you.

Monroe took the time and did a great job covering my whole yard. Talked with me and said, ask any questions any time. Very nice person. Brandon had to redo from prior lawn tech. He spent time and did walk the yard with me first. Did a great job covering the bad areas. Tru Green overall is ok.

Brandon informed me when he arrived and asked if I had any questions. I mentioned how the cranes have been tearing up our lawn. He informed us that he found grubs in the grass and what we needed to do. Very personable young man.

A Absolutely garbage company. You pay for service and they dont do it. They steal from you and hope you dont notice they dont do anything. I have them on camera the third time pull up and leave a bill of service and leave. Im gonna send all 3 to who ever wants to see them. Maybe they will blast them on the news. This company is a joke! They make false promises and dont follow through. They promised me my lawn wouldnt have any bare patches larger than a dinner plate last year, and my lawn is exactly the same as it was before spending hundreds of dollars on their worthless treatments. I call to complain and its impossible to get through to anyone. Now this year they automatically re-enrolled me in services that I cancelled last year. I finally got through to customer service after 1 hour of waiting and explained my issue and they hung up on me with no call back. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM

This company was suppose to be spraying my neighbors yard when they came by our yard and started to spray where my children were playing without warning!! They sprayed my children with pesticides!! No regard. Cant get a hold of customer service, on hold for 30+min. One of my children have a medical condition and should not be exposed to pesticides. This should not be allowed! Apparently they have done this to others spraying dogs and children. This should not be legal! Im definitely reporting them.

They were working on my neighbors lawn and spraying, they werent paying attention to what they were doing, my kids were playing on our play scape and the spray was reaching over to our yard. Tried to reach them with no luck. Too busy trying to make a sale and no customer service.

Super easy to sign up and schedule. I didnt need to be home during the service either.

The Trugreen weed control and fertilizer services are always delivered on time, on schuedule, and the lawn looks great.

Been a subscriber to TruGreen for many years. Always had issues with weeds. TruGreen was unable to prevent them using the materials they apply to every lawn regardless of the condition. I had to force them to take a soil sample so they knew how to treat the lawn. I paid for the full season upfront and they have not done a single application of any kind. I cancelled my account with them and awaiting a refund for over a month. They apparently have to approve refunding money for services they did not do. I would never recommend any company that does not treat your lawn for the proper conditions. TruGreen is unable to cooperate with what nutrients my soil requires. But they are happy to send out anyone who has a truck full of chemicals. Doesnt matter if its what your lawn is looking for or not. DO NOT PAY THEM A PENNY! ADDED AFTER Reply I have called many times to speak with someone who is authorized to help me. I have been unsuccessful with being transferred to anyone else. I have sent emails and expressed my displeasure with TruGreen many, many times. Yet I have still no resolution of the annual fee I prepaid that has not been returned do to TruGreens failure to render service, for services. paid.

I have used the Mosquito control service this summer and it has been awesome. We live in the woods and have tons of mosquitos and after having this service monthly we have no issues. We had one instance where I got some bites 4 days after the service. I understand that nothing is 100% but this was very frustrating. I wrote in my follow-up service survey about this and TruGreen sent someone out for a free service without me having to do anything else. This is awesome customer service and is so appreciated. Could not recommend this service more!

I have been a customer for 4 years. I have debated switching since I havent really seen the results and they are expensive. After 4-5 of rain over the last 3 days, and while still raining, TruGreen came out to my house. Why??? I have no idea! They left my back and side yard looking like this after getting the ride-on fertilizing machine stuck. This only happened yesterday and was promised a supervisor to contact me. Called 2 more times. Customer Service helpful, they elevated to managers, but no one has responded. 48+ hours later....nothing. OHHHH...but i promptly received a bill! TruGreen ruined my lawn costing me $100s, if not $1,000s of damage. Beware....

Worst service I have ever experienced. First application done and I dont hear from them until I call and tell them I have weeds coming up. They move me up the schedule. I get a text today saying they will be here between 7 and 11 am. I wait until 2:30 pm before I finally called them. He should be there soon. Finally, I get a message saying they cannot come today, after I wait all day! The worst company to deal with. Never again!

Never show up when they say they are coming. Show up out of the blue. Dont perform the services as promised. My recommendation, save yourself the hassle and go with another service. I paid for the entire year and getting a call back... Well, still waiting. I watched a guy stop in for five minutes and sit in my backyard and say he was here. I cant wait to show the video to everyone. When my yard is mowed my cameras go off every few minutes, when Trugreen shows up, it goes off one time. This place is a scam. Run as fast as you can!

I had a big round dead piece of grass at the end of my lawn that I had for a while. I had experts Trugreen come over and look at the grass. They gave me their b.s. , told me they could fix the problem and I believe them. It wasn t getting better mouth after mouth. I was thinking about putting something so I called miss digg and low and behold there was a gas leak!!!!! That grass expert should have known something and knew nothing but GREED!!!!! I will NEVER get Trugreen again!!!

Trugreen provides really good service for my lawn. They are always on time, friendly and also explain what service they going to provide on a particular day. The most amazing thing is they provide you the detail report after service completed about the condition of the lawn and what need to be done.

I started with True Green last summer and my grass has never looked so good. My grass was mostly weeds and dirt and by the fall, it was fuller, greener, and absolutely no weeds. Theyve already been out twice this year so Im hoping the rest will fill in this summer. I highly recommend this company. They are timely, efficient, and always let you know when you are on the schedule and they are on their way.

Had Trugreen out 3 times with no change in weeds or look of lawn. Each time I called I heard one excuse after another. Also was charged for the wrong size lot. They said they sent someone out but no one ever came. I know this is a very reputable company, unfortunately this branch doesnt live up to that standard.

They operate best through extortion, trying to get extra cash on the side (Kevin) by saying your pricing is incorrect and your lot is bigger than what they measured on the satellite map. NEVER AGAIN will I use them!

My last experience was very much like all the others...the Technician, in this case Mr. Feely, was professional and friendly and let me know what he was doing, specifically about a number of new shrubs that had been added.

If I could give zero stars I would. Their solicitation is ridiculous and I will NEVER use them. They have come to my house today not once but twice. I live in a non-soliciation neighborhood so it is especially frustrating to have people ringing doorbells and disturbing the household. If looking for lawn care use someone that respects peoples time and privacy.

I inquired about their services and then was bombarded with phone calls until I actually signed up. Even after that I decided to give it a try. So far we have had 2 treatments and have seen no changes to our lawn, we actually have more weeds now then we did before. I contacted the manager Allison about this and was ignored. I called Tru-green directly and they sent someone out to treat the grass again for free. Once I got the notification that someone came out again, I checked and noticed they didnt treat for the weeds, only fertilized. I called again and they said it was a mistake and would send someone out again. I asked them not to and cancelled my service right then.Not impressed.

TruGreen does a nice job on my lawn. If there is ever a problem they come quickly to correct it. Compared to other companies the price TruGreen charges is very reasonable. They always come as scheduled. They also leave a voice mail message to let you know they are coming. When they say satisfaction is guaranteed they mean it.

TruGreen has been fertilizing my lawn and trees and shrubs for several years. Everything looks healthy. They recently did an aeration on my lawn. They always let you know when they are coming and always show up when promised. They are a very dependable company. Their prices are also very fair! I would recommend them to anyone!
