We have been using Chad s for annual maintenance for a few years now. We have always wanted to do a big project, and Matt has always been patient to provide quotes for us. This year we finally did the big project and it turned out great! They removed trees, created a brick paver bonfire patio, planted some trees, flowers, and sod.

Best landscaping/snow removal spot in the area

on Friday 2/25/2022 the driver of this company Robert Beach was reversing his snow plow ford F250 so fast when he hit my SUV in front of my home knowing that i was honking the horn but he didnt hear because he had his ear plugs listening to music and he came down apologizing for what happened and promised that his insurance will pay for the deductible and no need to call the police so i agreed and took his driver license and insurance card. today i received a call from his insurance company saying that they told them it wasnt their fault and claim that i hit their pick up but any child who look at the damage of my car will laugh at what they claim. now Im going to file a police report and see what happens and if this didnt work i will hire an attorney and file a law suit on this company. so people think twice before hiring this company.

Weve used Chads to remove snow this winter, but were really disappointed. The quality was ok. BUT, today I saw one of their people trying to shovel my driveway...which had less THAN ONE INCH of snow! When I told the guy to stop, he said he couldnt, or hed not get paid. When I called the office, the woman told me that she measured 2.5 inches. Give me a break! Even the guy shoveling thought this was stupid. Very predatory, in my opinion. This is a photo of my driveway a couple of hours after I stopped the guy who shoveled. They wanted us to pay $50, when we didn t even need to shovel!

I called to get some sprinkler work done and the lady told me they have no availability for new irrigation customers Exactly what kind of a irrigation company turns down irrigation business???

08.23.22 - Update: Someone did finally come out to my home for my estimate - almost 6 hours after the appointment time due to a family emergency. He was very professional and friendly. However, Ive decided to go with another company. 08.19.22 - I would love to say that this company does good work. However...they booked my first appointment 3 weeks in advance. They called the day of said appointment and said no one would be able to come out. I rescheduled, to give them the benifit of the doubt, based on good reviews that Ive read. The appointment that was supposed to be for today - I guess they ghosted me. Its past their 2-hour window; no call, no text, no nothing. Very Disappointed.

We used Chads to clean up all of our landscaping beds, transplant some of our flowers, remove some plants and install new mulch. We were very impressed with the job! My wife and I moved into a house that needed some landscaping work after it was neglected for a long time. Matt came out to give us a quote and provided one in detail in about 30 minutes, which included removal of mulch and overgrown beds full of weeds, planting of 29 plants (including a tree), weed barrier, and cobblestone in 4 different beds. The guys showed up and just about finished everything in a day when it was 90 degrees out, and they just had to come back for an hour the following day to wrap up. Our yard looks absolutely great, and several neighbors have been so complimenting the landscaping. Highly recommend Chad s Landscaping!

A crew of 4 men did the most incredible work. I hired them for my mother s home that had became overgrown the last few years. They worked swiftly and efficiently and made sure they got everything done and to my liking. A very polite and pleasant crew as well. Matt came out at the start to go over the scope of work and went over everything with one of the men. They edged, trimmed bushes, weeded, planted, moved some plants around, moved diamond edging, cut down a couple small trees, mulched and spread some grass seed. They cleaned up everything and watered all the beds! Did not expect that. All in all, my mother and I were extremely pleased and I highly recommend them.

From the first phone call with Brandi to set up an estimate, everyone in this company is first rate. Matt came out to our house several times while we tried to figure out exactly what we wanted to. Chad himself came out to our worksite everyday to check on the progress and address any issues. Our job was small in comparison to some of the jobs they do - we had them extend our beach and add a paver patio - but we were treated like ours was the biggest most expensive job they were working. When the job was done, clean up was excellent. Youd never know how torn up our lawn was! And they addressed the neighbors yard where it was disturbed, too. I hired Chad s Landscaping to help manage an overgrown out of control yard. We have an acre, and most landscape companies over quoted because they didn t want to do the work. Matt came out, gave me a number during our walk through, and told me next steps. Although the work that got done was not on the timeline I wanted, he was honest with me about my expectations. The amount of work this team did is astonishing. All of my neighbors commented on how nice the yard looks, and how well to team managed my job. My family had an opportunity to move to Grand Rapids that had us up and out before we could get everything settled with listing our home. Chad s Landscaping handled that situation with ease, and did the work anyway. My neighbor was appointed to pay our invoice- and the crew denied the payment as non of them were a supervisor. They let us know a supervisor would come collect the payment. That is integrity! They busted their tails in the August heat. Hire this team. Be specific about what you DO and DON T want removed, but you will not have to question their ethics. Do it. Pull the trigger. It s worth it.

We have used Chad s Landscaping for many years. We have tried other landscapers and lawn services, but we ve stayed with Chad s because Brandy and Annie at the office are incredible to work with. We have worked with Matt over the years to basically redo our entire landscaping that another company had done, and we couldn t be happier. We have added their irrigation services, and have their lawn cutting services. It is the one service I don t have to worry about, they show up when they say they will, and always get the job done. If we ve encountered anything that needs to be redone, they happily do it. Their prices are on par with other landscaping companies, and in some instances better. I would highly recommend Chad s landscaping.

I had a 13 year old bowing & decaying wood beam exterior staircase to a basement door. Door was compressed until it wouldnt open. They figured out a way to remove & replace with custom stone & even replaced the required stair fencing. It wasnt easy to design & execute. Once the stones arrived, they did it within a week & its awesome. Chad checked progress frequently & his crew was knowledgeable & hard working. Great company, particularly if you have a complicated project - responsive (including office staff) & creative.

This is one of those companies you see on the side of the road doing great work for commercial businesses and wish you could have that work done for your property....called them the night before, came out the next morning and did a great fall clean up in mid December for me... 5 guys... 2 1/2 hours.... if you want professional/commercial style work... pull the trigger, they re legit

I am completely blown away by the work Chad and his crew have done for my yard. The previous owners had really let the outside go and my flower beds were more like a jungle. Chad came in and completely ripped out, rescultped our beds and laid mulch. The transformation was miraculous! I am pretty sure all my neighbors are jealous. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Matt came over to talk about water drainage and some landscape design around my house. He knew exactly what to do right away. Timing of getting everything done was really fast, which I didnt expect this time of the season. The crew were great, and got everything taken care of in just about a day. We had Chadss Landscaping come out and repair a front garden wall area. They built a new brick block retaining wall in our front area and replaced borders along the side areas and it looks great! I called and asked them to come out and repair the lawn sprinkler system at my home. The system had not been running for a couple of years. I dont remember the gentlemans name that came out, but he is a sprinkler system ninja. He quickly repaired issues I had with cracked lines and replaced bad sprinkler heads. He was very courteous and answered all my questions. I will definitely use them again.
