Tyler came out and bid the job next day, he started a week later. He finished 13 pallets of sod and removal of two trees in 3 days time. His attention to detail was impecable. His knowledge of trees and knowledge of how to start grow and maintain all alspects of landscaping is incredible. Highly rated, if i could give MORE stars I would. I highly recommend Tyler with mid cities lawn and tree experts If you want it done right!
Tyler came out and bid my yard the next day, he started 2 days later. My yard was absolutely in horrible condition before he came. It's been 5 weeks and my yard is a 10/10!! Not a single piece died,, he is super attentive to detail and he is very very good, without a shadow of a doubt if your reading this and still iffy,, GO WITH HIM! i have had my lawns over the years sodded 6-7 times, Tyler is by far thr best I've used and the grass was delivered looking better than any of them. Also worth making note of he took out ,3 trees and my yard is sooooooo level now!!! I have never seen it like this! Way to go Tyler happy customer here!!
Like other reviews, my husband and I had a similar experience with Tyler. This was our experience. From the beginning, Tyler was over an hour late for the initial appointment to view our yard for an estimate. He didn’t bother to call/text that he was running late, I had to reach out to him, even after he cancelled the initial appointment and rescheduled to a day/time that worked better for him. From that point on, the delays and excuses started. We waited over a month to get some type of sketch/draft of what our yard would like that. He claimed iScape wasn’t working, which I can understand; technology doesn’t always work. But then he proceeded to send us an invoice for $3k + and wanted payment, WITHOUT even a sketch of what our yard would look like! Tyler finally produces some sketch of our yard after several requests. It took Tyler 6 weeks to start physical work on our yard, from the day he visited our home in June. He did say he was 1-1.5 weeks out with scheduling, but we did not expect it to take 6 weeks! The excuses and delays amplified. In a nutshell, he was never on time, he never came at the time he said he would, he had vehicle issues, delayed/poor communication, etc. At the end, my husband and I were so frustrated/annoyed with Tyler’s poor business and work ethic, we decided to just end the job and pay him for what he had completed. Tyler left our yard a mess, he didn’t even have the curtesy to clean up after himself. The work he did for us was, average, at best! Some issues we noticed- uneven spread of mulch/visible tarp in areas of our front yard, cheap flowers scarcely planted in our wine barrels, unsteady/wobbly wood posts in the wine barrels for our string lights. I see Tyler’s responses to other reviews is that there are “bad customers” however, he would be hard pressed to find any evidence that my husband and I were bad customers. We were extremely patient with him and wanted to patron a small business. It’s true what they say, good help is indeed hard to find! It’s unfortunate that we could not experience the seemingly glowing reviews other customers received from Tyler. We wish Tyler all the best and hope he can learn how to improve on running a business with integrity, better customer service, and consistency.

Tyler Gibbs of Mid Cities Lawn and Tree Experts took $2,000.00 from my 73 year old neighbor back in May to sod her small yard. Like other reviews you can find on his business, he used every excuse in the book not to get the sodding done. He took her money and NEVER came back to sod. My 76 year old husband, myself and my neighbor sodded her yard in triple digit heat!!!🥵🥵🥵 Tyler told my neighbor if the sodding was not done by August 2, he would “ GLADLY” refund all her money. HE HAS NOT REFUNDED HER $2,000.00. At one point he even tried to get her to pay MORE MONEY!!!! Thank goodness she did not give him anymore! SHAME ON YOU TYLER GIBBS!!!!! TAKING MONEY FROM AN ELDERLY WIDOW AND THEN NOT DOING THE JOB you took money to do!!!!! My neighbor paid in CASH so Square has NOTHING to do with it. The SQUARE EXCUSE does not hold water in this case. REFUND THE $2,000.00 CASH SHE PAID YOU, TYLER!!!! The BBB and the Federal Trade Commission have been advised and a police report has been filed. Now, on to small claims court. Please go on NextDoor and search Tyler Gibbs. Yes, Tyler I am writing for someone who you took $2,000.00 in cash from!!!!! The Keller police dropped the case because the ONLY thing Tyler did was dump a mound of dirt at my friend’s house and since he did dump the dirt but did not lay any sod, they said it was a civil case. So after giving Tyler $2000.00 in cash to sod her yard. My friend had to buy all the sod and lay it herself. After I put this on Next Door multiple people messages me telling me Tyler did the very same thing to them. Keller police by not acting on this is allowing the tax payers to be defrauded by Tyler. Shame on them too! Give her money back!!!!! July 10, 2024 and still no refund. His rating with the BBB is 1.5 stars. That is about as low as you can get!!!! Use this business with EXTREME CAUTION. How do you live with yourself taking money from the elderly??!!!!
Worst experience ever! Today he admitted he lied to me for 5 weeks about ordering my sod. Now it’s the middle of summer and I have NOTHING! Never on time. Lots of excuses- flat tires- twice, fired help, broken trailer, too much rain, not enough rain and so on. But he sure took my money. RUN AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL BUSINESS. TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS. UPDATE: After a barrage of text messages telling me this review is hurting him and asking me to take it down, he has changed his response to this review to make it appear as if I am somehow to blame. After looking at the recent BBB reviews, it seems as if I am not the only customer who had enough of his not performing services in the month of July....hmmmm. Also, resorting to personal attacks on a dissatisfied customer in the response is not very professional.
First and foremost, I must highlight Tyler's unwavering dedication to keeping his promise of completing the work by a specific day. Despite unforeseen challenges, he went above and beyond to ensure the project was finished on time. I was bit surprised when Tyler arrived at 8:00 PM and worked tirelessly throughout the night until 2:30 AM. He even expressed a desire to stay longer and clean up my driveway, but I insisted he leave due to the considerable distance he had to travel back home. Tyler's attention to detail was exemplary. He invested the necessary time to ensure that every little detail was meticulously taken care of. Saying he went above and beyond is an understatement. Tyler's dedication and commitment were simply remarkable. I highly recommend Tyler and his team for their outstanding service.
Tyler came out and redid all my sisters flower beds, almost don’t even recognize it compared to what it was before. He also seems to know a lot about his plants. He was able to recommend some really nice plants, shrubs, and small trees that we all absolutely love. It turned out better then I had expected by far. I Would definitely recommend him to anyone I know.

Ive been using Tylers services for a few years now, I live in Keller Texas where people keep it nice and sprucey, with that being said Tylers services have always met community standards, I would consider Mid Cities Lawn and Tree, youll be happy!
UPDATE: sod looks phenominal and is taking well, he has done three more houses next to me and they all look great! hes an animal Where to start... tyler came out to my house here in keller and designed the best landscaping on my street...not kidding my house is by far the best on my street:) not only did he work with me on pricing and details he was here doing it himself with the guys every step of the way as well as he had the greenest sod like 10/10;idk how u get sod thats green rn but he is amazing nd did a whole bunch of extra stuff at no charge like trimming and some Boulder accents and full led lights in my whole backyard hes a 10/10 no doubt about that and I have used sooooo many landscape companies!! Happy customer by far! Call him you will not be disappointed !! I have never felt the need to leave a review before but he deserved it! Keep it up man
He removed a tree from my elderly parents house in Keller tx, then he was hired to do a flagstone patio, and a small gazebo, 10/10 came out perfect! My parents talk about it (and him)everyday, he did a lot of extra stuff at no cost and brought them lunch too he s great If your looking for a landscape company hes your guy! Communicated several times to come see my lawn for an estimate. Every day they were scheduled to come out something happened. Finally asked pictures of the job and then uped the charge of what we had already agreed to. The day they were supposed to come out, they never came. They were always busy with other jobs. Finally came to do half of the project and I was told they would come back the next day to complete. Never showed! Very unreliable. Do not use!
This is the most hardworking attentive to detail young man that has ever worked for me! His only bad reviews are for him not showing up to estimates but I own a pool company, its easy to tell a bad customer from a good one, some just have to be skipped, you cant tell them anything without risking a bad review, better to just leave them alone. You will not be disappointed hiring tyler promise you! He was on time each day communicated every step of the way and definitely out performed my last landscapers (jcl landscape) dont hesitate to call him, his quality shows absolutely the best

Tyler came out and gave me an estimate the same day, within a week he was able to start my preparation for sod. And withing 3 days he had my backyard looking better than it ever has. His prize may be a little higher than others but the cuality was excellent .
Had a tree that was rotting out and was probably going to take out a huge portion of my roof, Tyler came and gave me an estimate and actually had the entire tree dropped, cut up, and hauled away the same day....very impressive considering it was a huge tree and was still a risk of it falling on my house. Ive recommended him to a few neighbors and friends... A few of which hired him and were also impressed with his work!
I recently had my stump grinded, I called and within the same day was able to get an estimate and the job completed. Couldn t be any happier. Super easy and fast.
Had our trees in the back yard trimmed. Some branches were growing over the power lines, but its all been taken care of. We had a stump from previous tree work a while back andd it was also grinded down. More then satisfied with this company!

I agree with Barbara A. Tyler and the multiple companies that he works under is a sham. He takes your money and never completes the job. As others have stated he has multiple excuses from having flat tires, no help, no gas money or truck not working. I gave him over $4000.00 to purchase/install sod at my home. He stop answering his phone and the texts that I would send. Finally after over a week he answered my call and stated he didn t have any money to complete job. He wanted cash but something in the back of my mind told me to use credit card for a paper trail. I have a complaint with the BBB so that others will know how unethical he is. He has a lot of sob stories but don t be swayed. He is a crook that changes business names when he gets into trouble.
Tyler was hired for $34,500 dollar job for the following: 12 pallets of palisade zoysia sod, 4 pallets palmetto st augustine, 2200 square foot of slate flagstone patio with complete pergola and outdoor kitchen area, trimming of 7 trees and removal and stump grind 4 trees, he did 60 lineal feet of dry river and did a whole bunch of stone in the flower beds. This was a fix and flip for us here at ari group, and we were quoted after rehab was completed, for 345,000 house sold for ,402k!!!! Id say it was a good investment, Needless to say tyler and his team were flawless, not a single complaint(they were here on time every morning And continues to maintain for current customer.) He is an artist, and deffinetly portraits his own style that evidently, is quite pleasing to most seeing that the bidding war went on for 3 days!!!!! Weve added him to our vendor list and recommend yall do the same.
I hired Tyler to redo the landscaping at my sisters in Keller and he did sod and flagstone patio, was on time everyday, and did an amazing job, I have nothing negative to say if I tried 10/10. Hes got his own style of landscaping for sure, and its very modern and classy.

We contacted Mid Cities back at the start of March of 2021 for some serious sod installation. Needless to say The owner of Mid Cities replied to our message that day and scheduled an appointment for that next morning. When Tyler arrived and by the way on time ,he surveyed the property explained in detail the process and what needed to be done. We contracted his company to do the work and I could not be any happier with the results. The yard looks incredible and being that I live on a corner lot ,I have had several neighbors stop by to ask Who did the sod installation...So from a consumers stand point and a totally satisfied client I would refer Mid Cities Lawn and tree Experts to all my friend and family. Keep up The great work.
Came out to raise 3 heads and adjust a couple of heads. I had two heads located under a newly built fence and he only moved one head. He had his remote and still didn t move the other one which was right beside the one he moved out from under the fence. I ve called and texted him at least 10 times and even talked to him once he said he would be right out but never showed. $160 charged and very poor quality and I dependable person. Never again.

Last week I had one of the worst weeks of my life. My dog dug almost every inch of mulch out of my wifes garden and completely destroyed her plants. My neighbor, whoms drive way backs into mine, drove his nice jacked up Ford straight through my fence.. and of course all while I was out of town unable to handle the situation myself. I didnt want my wife out in this texas heat trying to take care of it herself so I knew I had to call somebody. A buddy at work told me about mid cities lawn and tree experts and he told me they do excellent work, so I gave them a call. Not only did they come out that day and fix my fence and remulch my wifes garden, but they did an outstanding job. I have recently switch from my last lawn care service to mid cities lawn and tree experts and have been pleased ever since! 5 stars all the way.
My front and back yards needed a total makeover and I couldn t be happier with the quality of the entire service I received from Mid-Cities Lawn and Tree. I don t know much about landscaping, but Tyler had recommendations on everything from the tree trimming, the type of sod, mulch and edging, and the types of plants that would complement the yard and house. After talking it through, within a few days Tyler had a written plan and a quote. He and his crew were great to work with. They arrived early, worked hard and did a great job. Nothing was overlooked and they cleaned up at the end of every day. Tyler was responsive to my questions and concerns throughout the entire job. He listened and took care of any problems as they arose. He provided detailed direction for proper care for the best results. When sprinkler head issues arose, he made the repair quickly as a part of the original estimate. Everything, especially the customer service, was excellent. I am very pleased with how the project turned out and will definitely use them again. Highly recommended.
