We have had Neave for several years at Red Hook Fairways Townhouse complex for several years & our lawns have improved tremendously. Previously we had Lawn Dr and ChemLawn, and we were not pleased with either.

I have had the pleasure of working with Dave Katz since the 1990s. He is a gifted designer. He recently completed a project for me on a slope that needed landscaping. His design was unique, colorful and used a variety of different plants that look better and better each spring. The landscape work was completed by Neave in an efficient, careful manner. The area gets compliments all the time and Dave has checked in many times to be sure everything is growing as it should. I couldnt be more pleased with the site.

Neave helped us with a complicated multi-year project involving construction of an indoor pool, together with landscaping, hardscaping, orchard planting and project management. From design to execution, the team were highly competent and professional and kept things on track from start to finish. We were impressed with both the array of different professionals that are employed at Neave, as well as the fact that they had a machine for every single part of the the job. Having the right tools makes things much more efficient. I would highly recommend Neave to anyone embarking on a large design and build project with multiple phases.

The design was amazing, but the implementation and build took YEARS, with poor communication. Project (over $250k, so not a small job) was never fully completed, and permit expired, and in order to close the permit, they made me have to pay the town to reopen it ($900 more) for the final inspection. Poor communication throughout. Not happy at all. I would think a project of this scale would have their high priority and attention, but apparently not.

Amazing company with impeccable attention to detail. It was a wonderful experience throughout all stages of landscape & poll design & then installation. I highly recommend them as the company that can do it all!

We engaged David Katz at Neave to completely rethink our backyard and engineer substantial changes, including the installation of a new patio and a swim spa. David patiently considered all of the ways we might use the space and conceptualized a plan that was ideal for our family. He was meticulous in considering every aspect of the project, rigorous in execution, and constantly responsive to our need for counsel in real time. He is a great listener, a skilled designer, an experienced project overseer, and truly dedicated to making sure the job is done to complete satisfaction. When, mid-project, we discovered that water was reaching our basement, David pivoted, making use of the crew on hand to fix that problem, too. We count ourselves fortunate to have had him on the job. And the crews Neave dispatched to do the work were wonderful -- professional, considerate, diligent and hard-working.

First worked with David Katz when he was Land of Elite, before it became part of Neave Group. The first project was installing a waterproof patio-cover under a first floor deck. Good work, which led to lots of time spent outside in rain and snow, enjoying the outside with excellent shelter. The second project, a couple years later, was excavating and waterproofing the foundation to our home -- really big project that was done extremely well. I had been wondering if my expectations of contractors are unrealistic, when they have unclear payment terms, unclear timelines, unresponsive communication, etc... Then David and Neave Group came along and did everything right from start to finish - restoring my faith and convincing me the expectations are reasonable, or at least can be met by true professionals. Its been an absolute pleasure!

We have been customers of the Turf Health Care program for years. We are very pleased with the men who come to provide the service - and with the results.

We have put in 6 pools in our lifetime - infinity edge, overflow, whatever. We have never had a more responsible, organized and professional team. These people are spot on. So if you have the opportunity to work with them, do it.

Project Date: February 2022 We had a consultation with David of Neave group. Wow. Knowledge is powerful! David was so helpful and informed on the many options for our pool design and made really great and useful suggestions and recommendations about layout and gave us a full view of the broad scope involved in planning for a pool. Its far from digging a hole in the ground.

I paid Neave $10,000 to do landscaping in my yard after multiple large trees fell (they did not remove the trees). The result was less than satisfying (to say the least)--you could virtually not tell they really did anything, and the design was extremely poor. Several of the plants they planted died and they did replace some of them, but in general, I can only say that I feel that this was an enormous waste of money. The people are very friendly and usually helpful, but I do not feel that I received the quality of service in terms of the landscaping that I had expected, given the amount of money I paid. Update: following the incident described above, Neave has not fully rectified the situation according to what they said they would do. I am still waiting for replacement of some of the plants that died, as the two attempts to replace have also died. I had them do some additional work after the first job, which was also well below expectations, and I waiting for replacement of plants that died from this second job. Overall I have not had a good experience and feel I wasted a great deal of money.

I had a very encouraging and pleasant experience with David regarding the future of my backyard. His ability to offer a visual interpretation of what a project can be was critical for my wife and I. He was very honest and the entire interaction was pressure free. I am looking forward to working with David and the rest of the Neave Group as they make our pool, yard, and landscaping interests become reality.

He kept our discussion highly constructive, starting with the positive and moving on to those areas of the design that need changing. Would receive a -1 star but no option. Billing system stinks, always saying you owe on payed bills. They Will definitely lose the five plus customers of people I know that are using.

Horrific experience here - do not use these folks unless you have a big job with lots of money involved. They have taken my money, promised the world, and have not shown up to do any work, even after repeated phone calls. There is every excuse in the book for not doing work agreed upon (Snow? It is the end of May! They are very busy? Then why take my money?). They have done nothing so far on my contract (such as mulching, checking for insects, lawn treatments, etc.,) but meanwhile, I wish I went with a smaller company who values customers who budget less than $5000/year for landscape services.

Neavegroup installed a beautiful new walkway, stairs, landscaping and landscape lighting at my front entrance. The work was done in a timely and professional manner and turned out just beautiful.! I couldnt be happier! They also installed a a new trek deck recently and again work was done on time, and efficiently! Once again I couldnt be happier with the work and the companys response to the smallest of issues. Neavegroup will be handling my lawn issues in the Fall and next Spring expanding my pool patio and installing landscape lighting and a new pool light. All the staff I have worked with are friendly, professional and knowledgeable! I highly recommend Neavegroup!

I would give no stars if it would let me. These so called landscape professional came to my neighborhood two days before thanksgiving, to do a fall clean up. The gentleman working on the site went ahead and blow all the sticks, leafs, rock, and trash in to a narrow street. When I saw that they were putting there tools away, I walk over to ask about the piles in the road. One pile was over 25 ft long and the other one was just under 10 ft long and they both stuck out 4 ft into the road. Mexican men working at the site acted like the didnt understand what I was saying and left. I contacted the main office to no reply. Only after contact my towns highway deportment was action taken by the company. Days after the piles were left in the middle of the street the came back to get it. The piles were there for a total of 5 day including thanksgivingday. It just goes to show that they dont care about the communitys that they are servicing. Cutting corners to say time and doing damage to the property of their neighbors by making them drive through this pile of junk to get in and out of our development, and letting stuff blowing in to other yard for days.This is not how a company should act day before a holiday or any time of the year.
