I hired Joseph Daniele Landscaping for regular lawn maintenance and for ideas on adding landscaping to our house. Joseph took pictures of the house and soon returned with great ideas and computer generated pictures of what it would look like. After some discussion with my wife, they settled on what was to be done. Yesterday, Joseph and two workers came at 830am and over the course of about 5 hours transformed the front lawn into a beautifully landscaped area. In addition they installed a flowell drainage system and adjusted my sprinkler system to provide irrigation for the new trees, plants and flowers. They did a great job, very clean. We are completely satisfied with their work and would highly recommend them.

Joseph redid my front landscaping for me, since mostly everything died from a flood the previous December. Since it was late in the season, and some weather obstacles, Joseph managed to squeeze my job in. His initial rendering was beautiful , but above my budget and also, I felt too much for someone who doesn t have a green thumb. He worked with me to make changes, still keeping his designer vision, and my goal alive! The results are amazing and I can t wait to see it all come to real life in the spring. (I hope I don t screw it up)!! To add, there were some rules and regulations that had to be followed posed by the town I live in. Joseph was responsible in making sure he was ticked and tied, since of course, a neighbor tried to catch him at fault! Sorry neighbor, not today! Thank you Joseph!! It was a pleasure!!

I worked with Joseph to redo our front landscaping. He listened to what we were looking for and worked with us to make it happen. From the initial design to the day of install he was very professional. Joseph and his team did a great job and the front of my house looks beautiful. A couple days after install I had a question about one of the trees he planted and he was very responsive. Overall I would recommend him and his team to anyone, we are very happy!

Recent purchased a home and need yard work, LOTS of shrubs/bushes and ivy needed to be removed. Joe was professional and was very consultative and wasn t just a yes man. He also helped by offering a French drain / drywall to alleviate the hydrostatic pressure I get on my foundation and it should prevent water pooling up on side of home. We used Joseph Daniele Landscaping to design and install our landscaping after the exterior of our home was redone We met with Joseph and described the style we wanted. We wanted a beach relaxed look -low maintenance, clean and some color. He translated our ideas into a beautiful design plan and provided a detailed listing of the plants he would use. I had hired joe last year for my lawn do-over and he did a phenomenal job and I was satisfied with it. He installed sprinklers and all the plants shrubs around my house. A year later the plants are looking better than ever and have completely changed the look of the house. Have gotten many compliments. Over all I would def recommend him to anyone shopping around. Other companies might be a bit cheaper but with him you get what you re paying for Professional and quality. The reason I m back here a year later posting this is because I have been enjoying looking at my plants daily and I pray that joe n his business thrive.

We hired Joe Daniele for a large residential landscape design and install project. Joe was very knowledgeable and offered great ideas and answered all of our questions about many different types of plants/bushes. His initial design was fantastic and needed very little tweaking, but he was open to our opinions and happily made changes to accommodate. Our project incorporated nearly 450 plants/bushes/trees and was completed over several days last season. Over the winter only six pieces didn t survive and Joe was back this week to replace them and to make minor adjustments to make it all perfect. Quality work, easy to work with. Highly recommend.

After removing some overgrown evergreens around our property this winter we were looking for somebody to design us a new backyard landscape. While neither my wife or I are green thumbs, we explained to Joe in general what we were looking for. Within days he sent us a hand drawn picture of the entire project with details, including plant names, colors, and pricing. He was very responsive, answering all of our questions throughout the process with detailed explanations, options, and suggestions when we asked. He was very accommodating with any additional requests, and even provided an updated design after we asked for a few changes. His team also fixed our sprinkler setup to cater to the new landscape beforehand,which shows his attention to detail and was convenient for us, as we didnt need to have a separate sprinkler company fix them. The install was just completed. Joe was here the entire time making sure everything went smoothly, and we couldnt be happier with the result.

I hired Joe to do simple maintenance a year or so ago. I just came across his reviews now so I ve decided to add my own. In the beginning, he was great but it started to go downhill. On two different occasions, a rock went through windows on my property. One broke my mother s car window parked in front of my house and the other went through my basement window. I know that those things can happen and he reimbursed my mother. I received an estimate for my basement window and I told him instead of giving me all of the money, he can replace some of the flowers in my front yard that he pulled out, without my permission. He agreed. He ended up putting taller flowers in the front of an area that blocked the rock and plants behind it. I told him that I did not like the placement and he said he would fix it. He would come back to mow my lawn but never would fix the plants. I would text him and he wouldn t respond to the texts. He d show up to mow and then leave. He eventually would send his guys to mow and he wouldn t show up. I told his guys that I wanted to talk to him because he wasn t responding to me and his company NEVER CAME BACK. EVER. I was very kind and understanding. I even text him that if he was very busy or had something going on to please let me know so I would cut him some slack. He blatantly ignored me. He couldn t be bothered. I ve never dealt with such incompetence but thank you. You did me a huge favor.

***Do not waste your time*** I have NEVER dealt with a more unprofessional business in my entire life! I was supposed to have work done & company pulled a no show and instead of apologizing the owner made excuses! On top of that, my texts have been Ignored NUMEROUS times! Worst customer service i have ever witnessed. So glad i decided to cancel the job due to being ignored multiple times & pulling a no show then making excuses for it when he could have sent a simple text or phone call. Save yourself time & aggravation & use a landscape company where the customer comes 1st

Joe does great work! Very pleased with the outcome. He is coming back in a few weeks just because the flowers he was going to add are not up to his standards yet, so he can plant when more quality products come in. Now thats dedication. Came and completed the job right when he said he would. Would highly recommend for anyone else looking to give their home a 5 star upgrade.

Sensational in all aspects. Did the landscaping and design of our front yard and it looks amazing and was designed perfectly to complement our house. Very fair price, another company quoted us something so ridiculously high I had told my wife to not even bother I was so disgusted, I am glad she found Joseph. Super nice guy who really knows his stuff and is very easy to work with and contact. Him and his team are as good as it gets.

RECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Landscaping sketches should accurately reflect the size of the plants/trees that will be planted, 2) If there are issues with the work after completion and the payment has already been made, Mr. Daniele should address the issues in a timely fashion, not three seasons later, 3) Making the customer happy should always be a priority. I did my research on about three to four different landscape designers and while Mr. Daniele was one of the more expensive ones, I decided to go with him because his reviews were good and he provided a sketch of the end product and we were very pleased with the plan. The beginning of the process was smooth. Mr. Daniele was responsive and seemed knowledgeable and experienced with landscaping. The concerns started to come about the day he arrived with the plants. Some of the plants were not in the best condition, but he assured us they would bloom again before the end of the season, in which they did. But, also it was evident he was attempting to make the most profit by purchasing smaller plants (or much younger) than what was shown in the sketch. After completing his work, I noticed one of the trees planted is not straight, another tree planted is not the one that was listed in the contract, and 10 of the plants are either dying or dead. The job cost $3,400 so I expected to be completely satisfied. I reached out to Mr. Daniel and he mentioned the plants were dying due to lack of water. This is false as one of the dying plants is a few inches away from a sprinkler and all sprinkler heads were adjusted to provide adequate water for the plants. He then said he would replace the plants, but I would have to wait until spring of 2020 (as per a policy that was not noted in the contract). I do not believe it is fair to pay a few thousands of dollars for a landscaping project and have to wait almost a year for it to be properly completed. Also, Mr. Daniele would not mention anything about the slanted tree or the tree that was quoted in the contract but not delivered. I am guessing we would have to wait until the spring for those as well. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the outcome of the project and regret not going with another company. RESPONSE TO OWNER: I can understand the difficulties with drawing the exact size of the plant, but if it is hand drawn, I don t see why you can t simply draw a smaller version of the plant to better match what the completed project will actually look like. A photo of the shrubs you installed is attached. I also attached a photo of your sketch. After the comparison between the two photos, it s obvious there was a need for you to add the two extra shrubs to make it look half decent. Also attached is your contract terms, which notes the warranty but does not mention any policy noting plant replacements will not happen until spring of the following year. And again you are failing to speak on correcting the tree you planted at a slant or the tree you planted instead of what was listed in the contract. Sorry we could not please you is not an adequate response to a customer who paid $3,400 for an incomplete unsatisfactory job.

The design Joseph drew up for us at Wind N Willow preschool was amazing and executed perfectly. The curb appeal of the entire school was transformed from his & his team s hard work. We had an appraiser come after it was finished, and the landscaping actually raised the property value. Joseph is a truly genuine guy who takes great pride in his work. 10/10 would recommend. Updated review.Overall, our satisfaction with the work done deteriorated quickly after the Daniele team left which I will explain in this review. We paid for work that did not even last a month, let alone a season. Joe will maintain that he went above and beyond though much of that was correcting ill scoped and ill executed work to begin with. We hired Daniele Landscaping to put down a rock garden for us in our yard. A month into the season we noticed that the plastic underneath the rocks began to rip (in locations where there is no foot traffic). The rocks pierced through the plastic soil barrier and as a result, weeds and grass began to grow. Our rock landscape now looks like the yard is abandoned and is impossible to keep up with. I asked Joe to return to fix the plastic or replace with a less permeable material. He responded that the plastic was not only not in scope to begin with but that he would not return. I do not understand how you can go to a house, lay down a rock garden and state that the very barrier that it is supposed to lay on top of is not in scope. That is if saying youll bake a cake but not the flour is out of scope. Joe continued to say that he wasnt going to lay any barrier down to begin with - reaffirming that the work would have been sub-par to begin with. At the onset of the work, we had to remind him to lay down a barrier wall so that the rocks would not spill out from the yard, an oversight that he would have made if we did not communicate that. Again, subpar scoping and execution of work. Joe will maintain that he went above and beyond for us. We had two projects going on at the same time and the other project - grading of our yard/adding soil was also completed. Upon completion of that work we felt like the amount of soil was not enough for the yard. He did come back and add soil and will say that it was going above and beyond, though we believe that was just making it right and ensuring the job would last and be done correctly. I have since told others who I had recommended use Joe to not give him a call and I am doing the same for the google community.

Joe and his team did an incredible job and we are so happy with his work. He took the time to listen to our concerns and wishes. He incorporated the plants and flowers I requested effortlessly into his design. He worked with us to come up with a design that we loved. Most impressive was the 1.5 days it took to complete what seemed to be a lot of work. We needed sod in much of our yard and he was incredibly honest with cost including decreasing the cost by not using sod in the front yard where it was not necessary. He works with you and wants you to be happy (and that is felt with every interaction). Joseph Daniele landscaping is simply the best !!! He drew me a beautiful design of my building with the proposed landscaping and labeled all the shrubs. I was able to visually see what my landscaping would look like and was able to look up all the different shrubs and flowers he was planning to use . That was fantastic !! He did exactly what he said he would from start to finish and even surprised me with a beautiful tree . My front yard looks amazing and I couldn t be happier with his service .
