J & S Landscaping did another awesome job on our property with trimming and mulch application! We've used them for years and gotten to know many of the crew. Their always friendly and do an excellent job! I highly recommend them.
J&S has provided my landscape service for many years. They provide a 10/10 service for an extremely fair price. If I have a last second add on request, they accomodate. If something isn't perfect, they fix it. Outstanding quality work!
Over the course of a month I reached out multiple times via text and phone to establish a snow removal contract for my elderly mother. I had agreed to the price but never could get J&S to email the contract or call me back. In the end, I had to give up. It's very difficult to find responsive services. Sadly, J&S isn't one of them....
Our HOA hired J&S to maintain our small community for grass cutting, mulching, tree replacement after losing 7 trees in the summer storm and snow removal. Every experience has been great. Quality at a reasonable cost with a friendly team. In addition, several neighbors and myself hired them for personal home landscape services. Everyone has been happy with them.
J&S Landscaping were one of six companies I contacted to discuss my unique Patio project. We were making a large brick paved patio area, encompassed by freestanding walls, pillars and a circular natural gas fire-pit with built in brick seating. I decided to use J&S for several reasons. They were willing to come on site and discuss my project in depth. Both Jeff L (designer / project manager) and Dave (Brick expert / onsite project manager) came out to review the project (before contracts were signed). This gave me the confidence that they would be able to deliver on the design, and budget. Jeff was able to suggest some great design ideas, but they were also very willing to try and make my ideas work. Jeff was great at helping guide me through brick choices - what would complement our house and was willing to bring multiple samples on site to help the decision process. Once the project started, they were on site every day. The whole team were very personable, worked hard, and they did a great job to tidy up at the end of each day. They also went above and beyond to help relocate existing shrubs / trees that would otherwise have perished. Jeff and Dave have worked together for several years, and their teamwork showed. They were both always well informed of the status of my project, and were able to answer any questions, and alleviate any concerns. They were very easy to work with, and were happy to have my involvement in the 'little' decisions every step of the way. The timing for the project that was estimated was unrealistic, but they did everything they could, and brought extra crews on site to meet my deadlines, without incurring additional cost. I would definitely recommend this company for your hard-landscaping projects - We couldn't be more delighted with our Patio, for which we have received many compliments and we will be enjoying it for years to come.
I highly recommend J&S Landscaping. We had a 20 year old cedar deck that needed replaced. Our plan was to reduce the size of the deck and replace with TREX (which we already had given a refundable deposit on) and have the other half of the footprint be a ground level patio. We invited J&S over to give us a quote for a small paver patio. We also asked if they could provide a quote for the entire footprint in pavers never thinking that it was affordable. It was affordable. The entire paver patio was the price of the lowest quote TREX deck at half the size. The low cost per square foot compared to TREX allowed us to also install a fire pit with gas line. Jeff Letosky and Jeff Stulberg and the entire crew were great to work with. Jeff Letosky provided us with sample pavers in different colors and textures and patterns as often as we needed to make sure we were happy with the selection. With TREX you get 5 or 6 colors to choose from…with pavers there are limitless colors, textures, and patterns. From tear down of the old deck to finally laying the sand in between the pavers they were awesome. They showed up on time every day…they cleaned the worksite before they left every day. There were a few days delay but for a good reason. They were not happy with the quality of some of the pavers and kept sending it back to their supplier until it was perfect. They also mulched our home and are laying down sod when the quote called for just seed. They just thought it would look better. I highly recommend them !!!!! Some before and after pics.
Our family has had J&S Landscaping service our home for over 15 years. Their snow and lawn service has been excellent. When we have had concerns or issues they are always addressed immediately and professionally. Their mulch is top grade, lasts long and looks great. We have also had J&S power wash our deck and our home siding with excellent results :-)
We needed a completely new landscape for our lakefront home. The previous owners had neglected the yard and we knew the job required a lot of work. We decided to call J&S, and we are so glad we did! Their landscape designer, Jeff, came out to our home and sat down with us to discuss our ideas. He then went around the property and took pictures...this allowed us to see digital photos of exactly what the new landscaping would look like after he came up with a design. He came back to the house about a week later to sit down again and go over the digital photos of what he had come up with. Overall, he came up with some fantastic ideas to help us achieve the look we wanted. We only wanted to make a couple of small changes, and he was extremely helpful in making suggestions that allowed us to get what we wanted yet remain within our budget. A few days later, the crew came out and started on the job. They were all very friendly and worked hard to get the job done in a very timely manner. We will definitely be calling J&S for our future landscaping needs!
New mulch, cleanup of all my beds around the house, edging all the beds, and trimmed my ginkgo trees! Looks like a new house. Happy to work with them again!

Visited this landscaping company, left details, no response . Very poor communication, which is disappointing as I really need work doing now. Thank you for responding to my review. I was at home until 2:00pm and then needed to go to my office. I will be at home Wednesday AM and Thursday. Will try to call on Monday to organize. Thank you again for responding.

Called April 8th 2019 for a landscape estimate. Did not receive a call back. So...after 3 weeks on April 22, 2019 I stopped by the office and asked again for a call back. Asking that they please call and let me know even if they didnt have time in their schedule. Today is May 10th. Still no call. My suggestion is to call back your potential customers and let them know something. Just disappointed as I wanted use a local business.
Thankfully, for the owner Kelly, the Lead Dave and the group of dedicated employees in Martin, Pancho and a few others (minus ownerships sons and high school/college friends), executed perfectly after a very saturated month of May and June, weather-wise. Certainly with a minor slip-up that I owned (deposit submittal error), Kelly and J&S ownership needs to own updating customers, proactively, regarding job scheduling, etc and not just step in once a customer gets frustrated. The expectation that a customer should reach out to ownership, as opposed to the opposite, lacks common business care and sense. The end result was great but the road to the end result, with reactive interaction by ownership, was certainly well below average. Lesson learned we hope Kelly!

Called to do complete landscaping on my business and no one answered phone. Who the hell dont answer the phone mid day. they lost out on good business so now Im going to have another company do it.

We hired J&S to do our brick paver patio and landscaping around our new pool, we were very reluctant to hire anymore contractors because our pool was a nightmare. We met with both Jeffs and were instantly comfortable with them, they did the design work and install beautifully, from start to finish the project was done right and very professional. The job site was kept up and swept clean before they left every night. I would recommend J&S for anyones landscaping needs, A1 company very impressive, we will be using again in the near future!!!!

Needed mulch delivered to our home. The women I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Prices were competitive, mulch delivered at agreed upon time by a clean cut, polite, uniformed young man.
Called to get price for mulch delivered. The man who answered the phone was very rude. He was careless and he didnt want my business.
Yikes the guy who answered the phone was too rude for me to continue the convo. I said I was calling to landscape approx 1300 ft.² cul de sac. He sounded frustrated and said he didnt understand what I was trying to say. When I told him Ill just call back he said or call someone else. I did. They didnt yell at me
I had a landscape project in mind so after gathering the details of what I was looking to do I contacted J & S Landscaping. I had the pleasure of dealing with the owner who was very businesslike and concise in answering my questions. Because I was specific and clear about what I wanted done he was able to give me knowledgeable answers to my questions. I have found its always best to be prepared when dealing with professionals who dont have time to waste. I would recommend J & S to anyone who asked.

We hired the J&S Team to design and install the landscaping for our new home. J&S did the complete job from hardscape, sprinklers, sod and softscape. They constructed a beautiful stone retaining wall, stone steps that wrap down to our back yard, and more. The team made excellent recommendations and worked with us to meet our budget. From the first meeting to the final clean-up the J&S Team was an incredible group of professionals to work with. They were always on time and prepared to complete the job at hand. I would highly recommend the J&S Team to anyone!

Weve had a lot of work done by Jeff at J&S Landscaping and have found them to be trustworthy, on time, and a good bargain. They do a beautiful job with all our lawn care needs like mulching, cutting, trimming and even building a beautiful patio and fire pit.

J&S DID A EXCELLENT JOB CONSTRUCTING A RETAINING WALL AROUND MY SWIMMING POOL. THE QUALITY OF THE JOB IS SUPERIOR. I WOULD RECOMMEND J&S!!!!!!!!
We called J&S based on the reviews and we are happy with the their landscaping work. J & S redesigned my front yard, removed weeds, edging, hardwood mulch and installed plants. They arrived on the installation day as promised and finished all the work in less than 8 hours. Jeff & Jeff oversees the work and makes sure everything is done as per the design. They do a clean job, and I would recommend the company for landscaping needs. I cannot comment on the plants yet, they look healthy so far. I am taking one star off because they charged me 300$ for sprinkler repairs but when I called 2 weeks later because couple of zones were not working, Jeff (owner) insisted that I pay another 80$ for an hour for someone to look at it.I would not recommend the company for sprinkler repairs.
I called Chris and he was plowing my driveway within 15 min., what a lifesaver, I had made numerous calls to no avail and the guy that was suppose to come earlier that day had his truck breakdown! Thank You, Thank You Chris!
