Customer Service It s when things don t go to plan you see which companies disappear & those that go the extra mile to help. DPD lost my delivery so Roy at Lawnsmith was on the case 7pm same day. DPD called next morning, located the packages & were delivered that day. LawnSmith is a company you ll want to buy from as they are there when you need them.

This company goes over and beyond for customers

Great practical advice, good fertiliser and awesome customer support. I bought the Earthway shoulder spreader in 2018 to apply Extra Long spring, and the autumn granular fertiliser to an 800m2 lawn. I find it very quick and easy. Probably takes me 10 mins of total since no need to worry about excess reaching the flower beds. I did find after 4.5 years that the main shaft of this spreader corroded, despite being kept empty in a dry shed. Corrosion is not covered under warranty (I was surprised to find the rest was covered). I suggest you spray the shaft with WD40 after each use and dont store it upside down or condensation can run into the bearing below the gearbox making it stiff. On this occasion Customer service were more than generous and very knowledgeable. Great to have personal service by email and the ability to include photos when you need help.

Bill was unbelievably helpful in giving sound advice on a unique problem with our newly laid turf. Great website with loads of useful information on everything to do with lawns, and competitive prices on a great selection of lawn products.

Having fully explained my reasons for the late complaint to Lawnsmith Ltd (i.e the pictures i took were too large to send so the email remained in my out box until i found it some two months later). I make a complaint as i am being forced to purchase more product at no fault of mine albeit at a reduced rate after receiving a damaged parcel. I then go onto receiving a response to my review blaming me for the damaged goods and accusing me of failure to store the goods correctly. They have accused me of storing the goods in my shed, knocking the parcel about only to want to make a claim for a few kilos lost during transit. Well i have to say well done Lawnsmith Ltd you have shown your true colours to all the public. Dont make a compliant folks as they will only blame your incompetency to store goods correctly and send you a derogatory email questioning your integrity. Whereas the product may well be OK their customer service stinks.

Just moved house and found a bag of Lawnsmith grass seed, dated 2020 , left by the previous occupant. Used to re seed bare patches caused by moss removal but seed would not germinate. Contacted Lawnsmith who provided very prompt and excellent advice and instructions how to test the seed to endure it was still viable. The test worked and lo and behold the4 seed already sown coincudently began to germinate . Clearly an excellent seed but germination delayed by chilly May weather . An excellent service and product .

I have been benefitting from products and advice from the Lawnsmith for some time now and never been disappointed. My latest purchase is quite superb, namely Natur fertiliser. Despite applying during a dry spell with no rain for a week since application it has come up trumps with the lawn now a deep healthy dark green colour. Another first class product from a genuine & trusted supplier. Ill be back!!

Having regularly used the winter and summer grass fertiliser I have to say that the product and end result leaves my lawn looking incredible. I would never use anything else, including sign up to their email to get regular updates of hints and tips. I have to say that the customer service is excellent having placed an order I required it by and certain date and they ensure that it did and the communication by email was first class.

Every one who has a lawn probably should sign up to receive lawn reports through each month, domestic or commercial. have also purchased various lawn products over the years.

Bought grasseeds for shadowy arras and followed youtube video to createa new patch of lawn in my garden. Watered 3 times daily. After only about 6-7days the seeds started germinating. My lawn now looks beautiful and I am very happy with the result.

My lawn had horrible yellow patches and I had tried other fertilizers without success, so I looked online and found Lawnsmith. I emailed my enquiry and was told which fertiliser was best. Now my lawn looks amazing. In a few weeks, the yellow patches have almost gone and my lawn is greener than it has ever been. I am so pleased with the service and the fertilizer and I shall continue to buy from Lawnsmith. Thank you.

I am thoroughly disappointed. Order was meant to be delivered 16/02, no delivery because they could not make. Scheduled for 17/02, we were in but the driver says we werent. Now they are going to try tomorrow. 3 days at home just receive this parcel is not at all acceptable. Really rubbish service. Dont be misled by the reviews on their site. Be prepared to be home for several days to receive their parcel.

Ive always had brilliant service from The Lawnsmith. Always happy to give free advice, and their products and service are always excellent. They send monthly newsletters detailing what you should be doing for your lawn, and have a list of good quality products to help you keep it to a high standard. Last week I sent them a picture of a hardy weed from my lawn, and Bob happily identified it, pointing me in the right direction to help me get rid of it. Well recommended.
