We have only had our first treatment with Lawn Doctor and can tell that it is doing a great job of killing the weeds. We got started late in the year but are excited to see how the yard looks in the Spring. The owners are very nice and thoroughly explained the treatment plan and other services they offer to get rid of ants.
We have had only one treatment at this point but will have the second on Monday. We saw an immediate improvement after one treatment. They have given us valuable advice along the way, and the cost was very modest. Thank you Jeff and Lorie!
I am so glad to be using Lawn Doctor run by Lorie and Jeff for my yard. I had him treat the yard for ants and I haven’t had any since he treated it. But the BEST thing that they offer is the treatment for mosquitos! It is worth the investment! It was so nice being able to be outside at any time and not be eaten alive by mosquitos! I highly recommend it to everyone!! Jeff and Lorie were always quick to answer any questions. I am already looking into more things they offer! Lucky to have them in Texarkana!

I am so happy to have Lawn Doctor and their team taking care of my yard. They have improved the health of my grass and educated me along the way and for this I couldn’t recommend them more. They were the first people I turned to when my neighborhood had an outbreak of army worms and they adjusted their schedule to ensure that my needs were taken care of. You will not find any better or more professional people to work with and educate you.
In 2006 we bought a new home. I took a chance and had Zoysia grass installed. It turned out to be the the best ever. the remaining homes built all had zoysia and we’re glad with the results. Fast forward to the last 2 years in another new home also with Zoysia. This spring when lawns started green I had a lot of dead spots in the front and back yard. I called the people who were taking care of the grass and asked why this was happening. They blamed it on fungus. I knew that was not right so I told them they lost a customer. After looking at other companied I settled a Lawn Doctor. Jeff and Lori Walling came and told me they needed to start with a sample of the dirt. When the results came back it was deficient in 3 minerals which were needed. Jeff said he would use liquid fertilizer and a liquid to loosen the hard ground. Three weeks later my grass was responding to the treatment by geeening up. Now it’s been 7 or 8 weeks and all of the brown spots are gone and I’ve have the best lawn on the street again. Trust these people with your lawn and you will be amazed at the results.
My yard was 70-80% weeds. They are bringing it back and I can honestly say I now have 95% grass. They got rid of the fire ants too. Great company and they care.
I just switched to Lawn Doctor for this year’s lawn treatments. Husband and wife team came out and met with me for measurements and quotation. I have had my first treatment in February and I am very pleased. Their quote is for 7 treatments a year compared to 5 with other companies in Texarkana. It is a little more than last year but everything has increased in price. I believe if you are looking for an honest and reliable company you will not go wrong with Lawn Doctor.

They let us know what they are doing, when they will be here, and they don t rush to move onto the next yard. They take care of everything from pretreatments of mosquitoes & ants to weed prevention and fertilizer with access to tests and experts to see what our yard needs. Goodbye weeds!! Do you want the yard everyone envies? I did too. The amount of knowledge the owners displayed made them my choice hands down. I described over the phone my issue and he nailed it! He told me the names of the weeds and how they needed to be treated. The desire to make sure you re satisfied and get just what you need speaks volumes of their customer service.
