I have been using Crownover for at least 5 years now. Before that I spent years tearing up my yard and my hands trying to get rid of weeds and grow grass. One of the nice things about them is they always let you know ahead of time when they are planning to come out for the treatments and they show up when they say they will do it. It s not some national franchise run by someone who got into it thinking it would be an easy way to make money. In addition, sending me detailed information about my specific grass and how to care for it, mow, etc to keep it healthy. Its been 1 year since I started using Crownover Green and I could not be happier with how my lawn looks. They show up on time, do the job, and communicate what they did and any action items you need to follow up with to ensure a healthy lawn. Previously, I used Trugreen but their lawn care guys were not experienced like Crownover and did a mediocre job. If you want to support local small business, invest in these guys and youll be 100% satisfied.

When we were looking for an organic company in Raleigh to do our lawn care (minus the mowing), we reached out to the company we used when we lived in Chapel Hill that doesnt service N. Raleigh. They recommended Crownover Green but with reservation: they questioned the level of commitment that we would receive. That concern proved prescient. We stayed with the service for three years, the first being by far the best. Thereafter, we came to believe that it was more phoned in than not with generic follow up notes that were not at all specific to our property. Despite being told the products would limit the weed and Japanese stilt grass growth, they did not. We ended up pulling them out en masse by hand. The coverage of the seeding and aeration was also very spotty. Although we were not planning on continuing the service, we did not receive any notification that either he would not be servicing our area or this account for 2021. Im sure if the situation had been reversed, he would have preferred at least to be contacted.

I could not recommend Crownover Green more highly. We initially thought we would just use them for a year to help us get our yard under control. We keep using them year after year. They are always prompt, communicative, a good value and SUPER responsive. They have helped us with questions that are above and beyond . I have written well over 100 reviews on Google and I typically only write reviews when the business is REALLY worthy of an endorsement. However Crownover Green is different. The owner and his folks are truly ONE-OF-A-KIND. Like, there is 5.0 out of 5.0 (which they already have)... and then there is this company. Rodney and his team are in a league of their own. Id say they are setting the standard for how service should be delivered but they are so good I just dont see many businesses have the willingness to do what he does. Ive been in this home for a little over 8 years and my front lawn has never looked so good. Now, I have done work on it myself... but heres the thing. Rodney and his team respond to my questions and provide guidance. Ive had a couple small issues pop up (not because of them) and they responded timely and professionally. Sorry if I seem a little over the top, but its because this company is doing it THAT WELL. Note: Ive included a photo of my front lawn. The big spot in the middle of the yard is where we took out a 35 foot oak tree back in May.

I just recently moved to Wake Forest and contacted Rodney in order to improve the health of my lawn. The previous owner let the yard get overrun with weeds and it looked bad. We just finished our first season with Crownover Green. Very happy with the service. Rodney lets you know well in advance of a service date, so you can prepare (remove leaves, etc). Even though we are only having the front lawn serviced, he was willing to provide an a la carte option of a one-time pre-emergent application in the grassless back yard to lessen the amount of weeds. After seeding the yard, he left a large bag of seed for areas that needed to be filled in.

We had switched to Crownover Green for a year and our lawn looked healthier than before. Rodney is very informative, let you know in advance when hell come for what to prepare before the treatment. After the treatment, hell inform you the health of your lawn and instructions to amount of watering. Our previous lawn servicer did not communicate at all and our lawn suffered.

We had let our lawn go to the point where there were weeds and bare spots in many places. We decided to hire a company to help us get it back to a healthy lawn and decided upon Crownover after checking out a few in the area. I have been a customer of Crownover Green for a little less than a year. We found Crownover Green when we were looking to have our backyard sodded. Rodney came over in a timely manner and provided a quote almost instantly. He was very thorough and also fully explained all the work that was included in the price.
