I had called a few recommended landscaping companies and was not happy with their service so I decided to search on Google Maps. I read the reviews for this company and decided to call them. Jorge answered the call and we made an appointment for an estimate. When he came, I was very impressed with his knowledge. He gave me several ideas on how to improve my garden myself. Then he told me that he will give an estimate in a few days. He gave me the estimate and the price was right. We set up a date to get it done. The workers were great! They were very friendly and worked hard. I now have a new driveway and a back patio. All done within TWO days. I highly recommend this company.
Found these guys on the internet and discovered this to be a hard-working, straight-forward company with a smart, humble, and honest owner with great communication skills. His company helped straighten out our back yard. On the first visit he listened well and offered solutions based around my needs. Then he showed up early and implemented that solution better than I expected. I highly recommend these guys.
I completely agree with other customers who commented on the quality workmanship, fair prices and great customer service. Jorge was quick to come to my home for an estimate. He provided excellent follow up for my questions. I appreciated him restating his understanding of what I wanted, to be sure we were on the same page. That gave me confidence in the work to be done. I had a grossly uneven landscape after a pool installation with tractor marks in the yard as well. I needed dirt brought in and spread over the lawn to even up the landscape. I could not be more pleased with the work done, the quality of the dirt, the fair price and the people!
Ortega lawn and Landscaping was incredible. They always show up on time, do an excellent job and leave it cleaner than before they came. The whole crew is always professional and courteous. We had them do many jobs and were awesome for every job. We have since moved and wish that we could find another company to compare. They are far and above every company we have ever hired. You won't be disappointed.
We have been using Ortega''s Lawn and Landscaping for the past two years and have been very impressed with their services. Jorge is extremely professional and prompt with any questions or services we have requested. We have used their mowing services to maintain our lawn as well as mulching in our flower beds. We also recently had them install a large area of new sod after our pool installation. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a reliable and hardworking lawn company.
Jorge and his crew do excellent work. The best lawn service I have used. They are a one stop shop for all my lawn maintenance and landscaping projects. Very good communication. Their billing software makes it easy to pay each month by apple pay and other online options. Highly recommend without reservation.
George & family have taken care of my difficult yards for 2 years. I have a terraced front yard with retaining walls & steep sloping side & back yard that require push mowing. They are responsive to performing various difficult tasks such as tree removal, tree trimming, large limb removal, plant removal/control, do an excellent job with mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, are attentive to details and careful to not damage other exotic plants growing on my property. And, they always remember to close/secure the backyard gate so my adventurous dogs do not escape. George, his father and brothers are courteous, friendly and easy to work with. Their pricing for regular lawn maintenance is competitive and economical as well as their pricing for other more difficult and laborious tasks. I am very satisfied with their job performance . I would highly recommend Ortega’s Lawn and Landscaping to anyone needing lawn care. Thank you George & family, you’re the best!!!
Ortega’s lawn service is best lawn service business we have used for quite some times now. They are a family business and an awesome company. Jorge and his crew always do a great job! They are very particular in making sure everything looks good and is completed in a satisfactory manner.
10/10 would recommend. Requested to have three trees removed and one tree trimmed of dead branches. I was out of town when the work was completed and Mr. Ortega provided photos of the completed work and ensured the area was clean before leaving. Very professional company that I will utilize again.

To clarify my 2 star review. I contacted George and asked about a basic mowing service on my lawn and he asked that I send him a text with my name and address which I did. George said he would stop by to look at the lawn and give me a quote. Monday came and went and no one showed. No call to let me know that he wasnt going to make it or to even reschedule. I never experienced the 4 1/2 star review for the lawn service because the lack of customer service communication skills from George.
I contacted this company based on their reviews. Jorge came out to my house 4 weeks ago. We spoke on the phone while he was at my house and I explained everything I wanted done. He said ok and to give him a couple of days to give me a quote. 4 weeks later I still dont have one. Text him yesterday and he said he sent one. I told him I checked all boxes and still no quote. He then said to give him an hour or so ( this is 6pm) and asked for my email again. Woke up this morning 13 hours later and still no response or quote. Worst professionalism ever.

My lawn mower broke down and I had family coming into town for the weekend. They came out fast and did a great job! Will definitely use them in the future if my mower breaks down again! Highly recommend!
Ortega does a fantastic job with appropriate tree trimming and with cleaning their equipment to help eliminate disease. They clean up all trimmings and limbs, remove the debris, and share the ground chips by delivering them nearby where needed. Great job guys!
George and his crew were professional, clear with quotes and realistic expectations for our yard, and worked efficiently for a day and a half. The yard looks better than it has ever looked. I will be using Ortega Lawn and Landscaping again and highly recommend them.

Jorge and his crew were amazing. They did a miracle on two trees that have never been trimmed. Afterwards they make sure that everything was cleaned up. I will be using them again next year for some other trees in the yard.

George Ortega has been wonderful to work with, and his company has done a good job of mowing our city lot in Waco upon request. His fees are reasonable and appropriate for us, and he responds quickly to our requests. I look forward to calling him and his firm for future yardwork.
Family guys solved a no grass/shady yard eye sore for us with ground cover, flag stones and bedding plants. Was a big job, done on-time, professionally, and not completed till it met their dads standards. Must have been OK as they have now done work for all our neighbors.
Ortegas Lawn helped us out a lot when we needed to clean up some property of a relative. Highly recommend them!

There are lots of people you can hire to take care of your lawn, but Ortegas is absolutely the best of the best. The most impressive thing is not only their mowing, but their edging, trimming, and cleanup. They are masters at quickly, conveniently, and expertly taking care of your lawn, and they do this for such a reasonable price. I would recommend them to everyone who has a lawn.
