Larry came out to fix an ongoing issue with a sprinkler in my front yard. He was there when he said he was going to be and fixed the problem in a timely fashion, also very adorable. My grass is green again and I’m a happy customer!
Larry Nelms was great to work with to install a drought resistant yard. He was easy to work with, had good ideas and a plan that greatly improved my ideas, installed a rock river, wall, best artificial turf, drought resistant plants, bark, drip irrigation all topped off with some great lighting. No problem recommending Larry Nelms for any yard improvement. He finished work on time and something to be proud. He does quality work.
Larry and his crew were extremely responsive, efficient and professional. Three hours after I inquired about an estimate through his website he was at my house taking measurements. Three days later I had a full estimate and contract to sign. I had heard horror stories from neighbors and friends utilizing other companies that took weeks or even months to get estimates. Nelms Landscaping completed their entire scope of work in 3 weeks after I first Reached out. They did a complete demo of our existing landscape and provided concrete, irrigation, sod, artificial turf, planter rock and new plants. Could not recommend Nelms more.
Nelms Landscape and his team did an amazing job with our front and backyard. We were looking for someone who could do all big items, concrete, irrigation, design and planning, sod, and fire pit; and Nelms did not disappoint. From the first meeting, he was very responsive and honest with the job. Even with the heavy rain during the week that could have delayed the job, Nelm and his team took every opportunity to meet the time frame they had promised. I would highly recommend Nelms Landscape for any job you would like done. We will be contacting him regarding a Pergola we'd like installed, knowing that he will do great work always. Thank you!!
Larry Nelms and his crews are awesome. They poured about 12 yards of concrete in my back and side yards and also landscaped with plants, mulch, and irrigation around my entire back yard. It was very reasonably priced and looks great. After explaining that I've always had trouble getting enough water to some dying Redwood trees, he recommended and installed Netafim drip. I was skeptical as I'd tried various drip and other types of irrigation and a few of the trees were still dying and I was sure they were goners. He assured me it would work. Fast forward a couple months and the trees are thriving. He was 100% right about what to do and Netafim was the perfect solution. I'm so grateful to not lose those trees. Part of the back yard project included moving some sprinkler valves from the back/side to the front so the whole side yard could be poured and look clean. The crew accidentally cut my pool fill line as it was buried with the sprinkler valves. This wasn't discovered until weeks after the concrete was poured. After letting Larry know, he came out personally with a team of guys, cleanly cut a patch of concrete above the cut, repaired the line, and repaired the concrete. No hassle whatsoever. Larry is easy to work with and I'd recommend his services to anyone. Thanks Larry!
Mr Nelms showed up on time, listened to what I wanted, and offered a few welcome suggestions of his own. He completely the work quickly and always communicated to me progress with photos and text. We were very pleased with the work. Mr Nelms is approachable, professional, and easy to work with. He took our vague idea for landscaping and turned it into a concrete plan.

You know a company is good when they come highly recommended by a competitor. I called Nelms and needed his services right away. I'm out of state and my son is home our back yard sprinklers would not turn off and flooded our back yard. Nelms came out right away and fixed the issue in a matter of minutes! Super nice guy fast service. As a home owner what more can you ask for. Will definitely be using Nelms for my future landscape and sprinkler needs.

Spectacular! Not only is Nelms organized, responsive, and timely, but they truly care about their customers. During the initial consultation, they really take to the time to get to know their customer on a personal level. They do amazing work, and show up for the job. I had been attempting to have my backyard landscaped for months, at my new construction house. Several other local landscaping companies kept flaking out - not calling back, not showing up, not sending a quote, etc. Nelms was immediately ready, fit in my consultation within 2 business days, and the next week got started on my landscaping project and finished. USE NELMS!!!
I changed my schedule to be home at the agreed upon day and time for a quote & they never showed or called. Not professional at all and I would recommend you go elsewhere if looking for reliability and integrity.

We called Nelms Landscape to fix a broken sprinkler pipe that was causing a huge leak and other issues in our yard. The situation was urgent, they responded promptly, identified the issue right away, and were very professional. They did the work quickly, got everything working perfectly, and left the area clean. Highly recommend!

I called Nelms Landscaping this morning about a sprinkler leak in the middle of my driveway. They were at my house less than an hour later. Larry quickly diagnosed the problem and instead of having to dig up the driveway and replace a pipe, I was taught a very important lesson in the laws of hydrodynamics where water follows the path of least resistance. It seems my son had driven over a sprinkler head near the edge of the driveway and had broken the sprinkler head connection off at the supply line. The water was following the pipe back and was bubbling up a crack in the driveway. The sprinkler was repaired in less that 10 minutes and they were on their way. I am very happy with their service and relieved I did not have to dig up my driveway or a lot of lawn to replace a pipe I did not need.
Had a stamped/stained concrete patio, DG pathway, and a dry riverbed installed by Nelms. While just stating those things as is, as a consumer you have a general idea of what you are going to receive. I was amazed at how Larry was able to well exceed our expectations for all 3!!! Coming from customer service myself, I could use all the normal descriptions of his company: timely, courteous, affordable, meticulous, structured...and those still wouldnt capture completely the experience we had with them. Simply put, Larry cares about each and every job he does as his own, and that was very refreshing. I have many projects I plan on doing and will NOT hesitate to call Larry and his crew when we are ready. EXCELLENT work!!!
Called a competitor twice about a broken sprinkler and never was called back or taken seriously. Called Nelms Landscape and Sprinkler was immediately taken care of. Felt like the competitors didnt want to deal with me just because I had a small job and probably wasnt worth their time, wish they would have told me upfront so I wouldnt have been wasting my time waiting to hear back from them.
