Fantastic Company! My grandmother was a meticulous person and she insisted the people cutting her lawn to be as well. Because of this we went through a few lawn care companies before we landed on MJ's. She was impressed by their ability to leave her lawn looking great. She was most impressed by their customer service and lauded the patience and kindness of the receptionists. When my grandmother passed, we held the memorial service at her house. MJ's Lawn went above and beyond to ensure her lawn was cut and hardscapes were clean the morning of the service. I cannot thank them enough.
MJ’s Lawn Service really helped me out recently. I had rotator cuff surgery in August and needed help with mowing my lawn. On the advice of a neighbor I contacted MJ’s to see how they could help me out. Nikki was incredibly helpful and pleasant to deal with. And, the lawn service team did an excellent job for me. I’m pretty particular about how the lawn should be mowed, trimmed, and cleaned up. MJ’s was spot on for me. I am now able to perform those lawn tasks again, but we might need to call on MJ’s next summer. I highly recommend them for their services, and their customer service support is excellent.
I used MJ's lawn service twice over the past few years during periods where life was busy or my mower broke. Both times they were amazing and provided an excellent service. Definitely recommend and will use them again in the future!
I highly recommend MJ's Lawn Service for easy, weekly maintenance of your yard! Their work is excellent and they are very quick. They're easy to schedule with and send weekly invoices which is appreciated. The process is very low maintenance and is one less thing you need to worry about in your day to day!
MJs Law Service has been maintaining our lawn (mow, seed, fertilize) for 6 years. They are dependable, responsive and billing is a breeze. They send an invoice and auto-charge my card each service. Our grass is absolutely beautiful and we are thankful to MJs Lawn service for keeping our grass lush and beautiful!
We have used MJs in our family over 10 years and they have always been dependable and have done a great job. They are an honest company and do what they say they will do. They will do small lawn jobs and big jobs and will back up their work. Nickie is always pleasant to work with and will make sure the guys get the message what you need done in your yard and billing is not a problem. Just hire them to do your landscape needs. Been having my grass mowed for years and have had excellent service. Also have had mulch delivered and installed and always done within couple weeks of request and with no problems. Have been out of town and not home when they mow and never had any issues. I put my services on hold before and they were very understanding and when I restarted had no issues and they were back out mowing the week after I restarted. When I have called the office the office is always ready to answer and find answers for any questions and calls back same day. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend MJ's Lawn Service LLC, I have been using MJ's Lawn Service for two years now and I have never had any issues with them. I' mostly in NY and they service my Virginia Beach get away home and I have tried other providers in the area but decided to stay with MJ’s. because they have done a good job of maintaining the lawn and I don't need to be there to check on them. They have always been punctual and on time primarily on every Wednesday morning. They have someone in the office answering their phones during the day and you can speak with a life person (Nickie) usually answers which I found her to be very friendly and professional in with dealing with customers over the phone. I am extremely impressed with the integrity of MJs Lawn Service and I am not even a customer! My neighbor uses their service and one of their new employees accidentally hit my fence with their mover. I was not home, but their people left all the information about what happened along with the owners name. I called and spoke with the owner, and he immediately took responsibility, apologized, and agreed to pay for the repairs. The day after I received the estimate, he called the repair company directly and paid for the repairs. This company walks the talk. Complete integrity and did the right thing. I am very impressed. If I ever get tired of moving my own lawn, this will be the only call I make! I highly recommend. These are the kind of people you want to do business with.

When my husband deployed I decided to hire someone to help me and I m so happy to chose MJ s! We have a lot of grass and our house is surrounded by drainage ditches so it s not the easiest to keep up on. The crew always did a great job and were in and out so fast. Definitely recommend them!
They don t cut my grass, but they do cut my neighbor s and the team sure doesn t mind blowing all the clippings into my yard after they re done.

We ve used MJ s Lawn Service for the past 3 years and we ve had a great experience! They are always on time, always professional. If our lawn hasn t grown much they were upfront with us and let us know we didn t need it mowed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a steady lawn mowing.
MJs is by far the best lawn care company we have ever had! Their front office staff is responsive and friendly and their crews are thorough and hard working. Their pricing is fair and a great value. Most of all, they are DEPENDABLE which I have found is rare in our area. A+ company to work with!
Management is rude and unprofessional Office does not answer the phone I have tried speaking to the person that seems to be in charge , a taller muscler guy , he seems to have a speaking problem and is rude to other employees that are with him Update Owner responded back claiming this review was false This review is true, , completely rude and offered to fix the issue. I m pretty sure the employee that is rude and has a speech problem is still employed and still being really rude to employees as well as customers. Hope y all quality of work improves as well as the customer service Still haven t heard back since the initial false report claim, it s pathetic that a company has to try to slander the review and try to push it off onto another company-2/5/21 update-
Awesome company
Ever since we started using MJ s we have been finding chunks of our vinyl fence in the grass. They have also chopped up our hydrangeas. One of the reasons we didn t want to mow ourselves was to avoid these kinds of damages. But we are getting more damage to our property than we would normally get if I mowed myself, and I don t even do landscaping for a living. They also charge an extra $10 if they have to pick up a stick. I do not recommend this company.
My neighbors use these people to mow their lawn. Their lawn looks nice but on Saturday (9/12) around 10:30 am they came by as usual parking in a road that is between our houses. One of their employees got out of the passenger side of their car and immediately vomit into my lawn. He proceeded to vomit a couple more times before getting up to clean himself with water. I have asked the company to come out and clean the vomit area and have heard no response for 48 hours. I have video proof of this happening and have not heard back otherwise. If I do hear something I will update the review. I do hope he is well and that he does not have covid-19. I am still waiting 72 hours before I go into the area to clean with bleach. My recommendation is if you do use these people, please maintain a good distance from their employees.
Weve used MJs for lawn mowing for many years and, have never had a problem. Last year, we also used them for fertilizer treatments, aeration, and seeding service. Our lawn looks the best its ever looked. Could not be healthier. The team is always efficient and personable. I dont interact often because, theyre like lawn ninjas. Theyre here and get it done.
I called MJs Lawn service, again, due to the need of my husbands lawn needing saving. I am allergic to the grass out here therefore lawn work doesnt do well with my breathing....... They were here the next day delivering the quality work that I had remembered in the previous year! Thank you MJs for doing above and beyond work, as per usual, to get my husbands lawn ready for his return home from deployment this year! WE appreciate all of your hard work that goes into keeping our lawn and flower beds beautiful! Thank you MJs!

These guys are outstanding! Good value for price, they show up every time on time and I have never had a single bad thing to say about their services. They even have leaf cleanup in the fall which is worth every penny I pay them all year long! Thanks MJs!!!
Worst decision Ive made all year (edited). For starters they never removed a tree branch that had been agreed upon at the beginning of the contract (over a 2 month period?). I reminded them on several occasions with the same excuses over and over again. I even mentioned it to the crew that worked on the lawn and they literally laughed it off and said theyd call their boss about it with still no result when I canceled my contract. 2nd, we agreed to pay the full amount of the start of the month instead of weekly which they prefer. For me it just makes it easier to have one bill instead of several transactions. Instead they kept charging me weekly despite my clarification. 3rd, theyre impossible to get a hold of. Nobody answers their phone. Its always just email us and the replies take forever. My favorite was the voicemail that said something along the lines of due to rain things will be delayed. Thats fine but if its raining, and work is delayed, that means theyre not in the field and should be able to pick up the phone. Im not sure why they have such a high review. The work was hasty and sloppy as a result. Every single visit I had to clean up after them. They never removed the small branches scattered around the yard too which I was forced to do even considering I walk with a cane and cannot bend over very much. Their first impressions were good but it declined over time. Good enough got old after a while. It was just one thing after another. I wish I could recommend someone else to use, but I can only recommend you dont use them.
These guys are fast, cheap and reliable. My lawn never looks better than after MJs takes care of it!
Ive watched MJs grow for years without the slightest dip in quality. In fact, they seem to get better with age. Our lawn routinely looks better than our neighbors thanks to these guys. Perfect baseball field stripes, just the way I like it.
