Lawn Doctor is amazing! I purchased my home 37 years ago and treated my lawn myself for many years. After retiring I decided to hire a lawn care company, that was a disaster and a waste of money my lawn looked better when I treated it myself. My sister lives in New Jersey and no mater what time year I visit her grass is gorgeous, after complaining about my company she said, “ call Lawn Doctor” and I’m so glad I did. The first year I only had them treat the front I was to embarrass to show them the back it was about 50% clay 25% Fescue and 25% Bermuda, so while he was here treating my front yard for a summer treatment I took him to my back yard and asked “ do you think I can get grass back here?” He said yes but it’s best to wait for the fall. It may have been the middle or the third week in August when they did what ever they did I don’t know but I have the pretty grass I have ever seen, I can’t believe all the money I spent over the years just trying to get it to look halfway decent and Lawn Doctor turned it around in one year THANK YOU Lawn Doctor

Lawn Doctor of Virginia Beach is a reliable service for fertilizing, weed control, aeration, and power seeding. Other services offered are pest control and soil nutrients. My lawn is much improved. I recommend the service. After four years of services, I have talked to the front office many several times and found the team very responsive to my concerns. I have interacted with several technicians that serviced my yard and each was courteous and responsive to my wants. During the pandemic height the company owner, serviced my yard. Good people have given me good service.

After years of doing all my own lawn maintenance, I decided to let the professionals take over the seeding, weeding and fertilization. I reviewed several companies offering these services and went with Lawn Doctor and I am very glad that I did. Starting with the office staff, they always answer the phone! That in itself is a big plus these days. They are attentive to my questions and follow up with answers and action. The Technicians always leave a report about their visit detailing what they found, what they did, and what I am expected to do to get the most out of the service. The lawn looks better than it ever did while I was doing all the work myself. The results of the power seeding application done at the end of last summer were quite impressive. This is my first year with Lawn Doctor. I have been very happy with both price and service. Applications were always done on time in Order to maintain weeds control etc. The main reason I went with this company was the fall Power Seeding. I have more weeds than when they started. They have an excuse for everything. They seeded twice, but I have little growth in my back yard. I watered with irrigation heavily for 2 months. It filled in in the front, but is so full of chickweed and dandelion its hard to say how much new grass growth there is.
Representative showed up at my home to perform the first treatment following my signing for their services almost immediately.

I was spending about the same amount taking care of my yard with weed & feed, etc. and now dont have to do it myself. Also, I called to say Nutsedge popped up in several places around the yard and they showed up a couple days later and by end of day it was wilted and mostly gone a couple days later after that, so Im impressed since i had a difficult time managing it prior. I just started with Lawn Doctor in Feb. 2020 and now were in early June, am impressed how much better my yard looks now.
I highly recommend Lawn Doctor for your lawn service. They hold up to their name Doctor . My lawn was very sick compared to others in my neighborhood; however, I can now say I am very proud to have one of the best looking yards since Lawn Doctor began servicing it.
They are very courteous and trustworthy. It is a business and a business cost money to run so yes anything lawn related is expensive but I got a good deal.
Just spoke w Adam about my yard... super nice guy, he answered every question I had (which was a lot, LOL!) LD has been servicing my yard since the spring. I have the year round service along w aeration and I am very happy w their service, but had some concerns and he made me feel better about those concerns after explaining how the different products work. He also informed me that if I notice weeds even after a treatment to call them and they will come out for Free and re treat those areas. I was happy to hear that. He also explained my different types of grass I have in my yard and what were the weeds because again I was confused I am feeling much better about my yard and really just wanted him (Adam) to get recognized for taking his time to walk my yard and answer my questions. Thank you so very much!!!

Started using Lawn Doctor a few years ago after dropping the other major lawn service because of spotty work and poor results. I use the year around service and power seeding in the fall, which has worked out very well for our lawn. The technicians are always informative and up to date about my lawn service and recommended treatment. When I do have an issue I call the customer service number and April usually has a technician out to my house immediately. I would recommend them for your year round lawn care service. BJ Jones

After 20 plus years of fighting with my yard, I started using Lawn Doctor of VB for my lawn service. Tom knows where I have different types of types of grass and different weed problems and treats them individually for best results and he is always available to answer any questions I may have. I am more than satisfied with the work theyve done for me.
I have never had a great looking yard. So I decided to purchase zoysia sod. Since I had no experience with this type of lawn I decided to hire Lawn Doctor to take care of it all year round. Now I have had the best looking lawn in my neighborhood for two years. I now enjoy mowing my beautiful lawn.
Would not use them EVER again! Wanted to give them a year and a fair chance to get the lawn going. Did the full package and extras. Watered as per directions as well. Nothing, looks the same as last year and covered in weeds. They decided to not spray for weeds or fertilize in spring due to road construction without discussing with me. Only after I called and complained about the weeds did they show up. At that point it was overtaken. I am starting over. Literally they recommend I start over after a year of service. When questioned they informed me it take 3-4 years to get a lawn. Funny how that wasn t discussed when they told me they guarantee results. Needless to say I am going with someone else.

We called Lawn Doctor 3 years ago to help us with an absolutely disaster of a lawn. A consultant came out and we worked out a strategy to best fit our needs. Shortly after implementation we saw the results and were no longer ashamed of our lawn! We have had Lawn Doctor take care of our lawn ever since and can always rely on them to make sure our lawn is looking great.

The quality of their work is excellent and their annual lawn care plan has taken our lawn to among the best on Bay Island.
